My Scraps & More New Year Resolutions Blog Hop

Welcome to the My Scraps & More first blog hop!
The arrival of a new year always brings resolutions along with it. We at My Scraps & More are focusing on these resolutions all through the month of January with a crop on the forum and we are starting it off with a blog hop!

This is the order of the hop:

My Scraps & More blog (start here)
Lisa (you are here)
Shawna (go here next)
Janelle
Tracy
My Scraps & More Blog

As you hop along to each of the Design Team's blogs you will be collecting "ingredients" to our New Year's recipe. After you have collected all the ingredients, create a layout using those "ingredients". Post a comment on the My Scraps & More blog with a link to your layout.

Layouts are due Sunday, January 8, 11:59 pm.

Tammi will randomly select a winner for the grand prize of Fancy Pants Winterland paper collection.

Watch along the way, some of the design team members are giving away RAKs with their own requirements.

Happy Hopping!
***************************
For my resolution, I choose to quit a bad habit. I started smoking back in my senior year of highschool and have been smoking ever since, twenty some years. I have tried to quit a few times (New Years Resolutions) with no success. When I went in for my yearly checkup in September, I talked to my doctor about it and he prescribed me Chantix. I started taking it and have been smoke free since October 8th! Now if I could only give up the chocolate, lol!
Anyway, here is my layout using some JilliBean Soup:

For my "ingredient", I would like you to use some twine on your layout. If you don't have any twine, you may use string or fibers. Also, for anyone who leaves me a comment, I will enter your name in a random drawing to win a RAK from me. I would love for you to become a follower, but it is not necessary to win the RAK.
Thanks for stopping by today and enjoy the hop!
Ok, now off you go to see what Shawna's been up to. http://twokidspaper.blogspot.com/

  1. Great layout! I love JB!! Good luck with your no smoking resolution. You're doing good so far. I have been smoke free for 11 years. I quit when I got pregnant and never looked back. I still get cravings after all these years. i cheated once and the next day I suffered a terrible "hangover". I am so over it! Stay strong!!!
