Hey there!
Today is the last day of 2015 and I spent the morning scrapping! It's the perfect way to end the year!
Do you have any New Years Eve plans?

Just wanted to share one of my pages.
I used a photo of my son and his Godmother from Christmas this year along with Cocoa Vanilla's Tis The Season:

I used a few cut files and cut them on my Cameo.
I added some Simple Stories stickers and a few other odds and ends from my stash.
Here are some close ups:

Hope you have a wonderful, safe and fun New Years Eve!

Fun & Fancy!

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using Simple Stories So Fancy. I love the colors in this gorgeous line!
The 2 kids in the back are my kids along with my son's Homecoming date. Looks like they were having fun! Doesn't it?!

I cut the chevron pattern out on white cardstock and then backed it with papers from the 6x6 paper pad and then stitched around it. I also added some ripped washi tape:

The doily is a cut file from the Silhouette Studio, I layered the photo and some cute embellies on top:

I fussy cut my title out of a few of the patterned papers from the 6x6 paper pad as well:

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your day with me!

A Tasty Summer Treat

Hey there!
I am enjoying being off during our Christmas Break. I have so much scrapping to catch up on and I can actually get a layout done in one sitting, LOL!

Today, I am sharing a page about me. It's not often that I create a "me" page, but I like to every once in awhile and add them to my kids albums. How often do you do a layout about yourself?

I lifted a layout by my scrappy friend, Michelle Gallant for the December 6 challenge at Paper Issues.

I used Carta Bella Cool Summer. It was perfect for this ice cream photo:

I love the colors in this collection and used watercolors along with Missy's plastic package technique to create my background. I added that cute chipboard banner along with that Evalicious flair and thread:

Here I popped up a few stickers using foam tape:

I fussy cut the cone and Tastey Summer Treat out of the patterned papers. I added the "Smile" sticker:

Here is a close up of the bottom cluster I added:

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your day with me!

Picking Berries

Happy Sunday Scrappy Friends!
I am sharing a layout I created for a lift challenge over at Paper Issues.
I used JilliBean Summer Red Raspberry Soup along with a photo of my son picking strawberries this summer and came up with this:

I used Gelatos and Black Color Shine for my background.
I fussy cut the berries and leaves from one of the papers. I also fussy cut the "Days Like These..."
The alphas are from Echo Park, I believe:

I added some flair from Evalicious, thread and stickers and did some stitching:

Joy

Hey there!
Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for a few challenges:
1. A cut file challenge at Paper Issues.
2. Use a Christmas tree on your project challenge at The Turtle Soup.

I used an older line of BoBunny along with some embellies from my stash and came up with this page of my God daughter and myself:

I cut the "Joy" cut file out on my Cameo. Then I used  red and gold Gelatos and water to color it. Once it was dry, I embossed it with a clear embossing  powder and then added some Heidi Swapp gold mist spatters.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Mini Crop at Turtle Soup!

Hey there!
Hope you are having a great week so far!
Turtle Soup has a mini crop going on right now and they have some great challenges to play along with!
I am sharing a few layouts I created using some of those challenges.
This first page was created for the Holiday/family celebration challenge. I used a photo of Austin with his Godmother and Aunt, Connie:

I used Cocoa Vanilla Tis the Season. I love the colors in this gorgeous line!
Here are a few close ups:

I made the tag and added some cord. I added some gold Evalicious hearts and a camera along with some Michaels washi tape:

I fussy cut the "24" and added mini alphas for Dec. I used a few sickers from Simple Stories:

My second page was created for Toni's winter blues challenge- use blue on your page:

I took out all of my 6x6 paper pads and pulled the blues out of them. I then used a Heidi Swapp stencil to create my sunburst with those papers. Once all cut, I stitched them down and added some layers under my photo:

I colored the sun lightly with a yellow Gelato and added water:

The cute crab was perfect for this layout of my great niece and nephew cray fishing plus it added a pop of color against the blu.

My last layout was for the Christmas photo challenge, but use a photo of decorations, tree, etc.
I used a photo of my tree and came up with this:

I used a cut file tree and cut it from white cardstock. I then used that cardstock and the tree I cut out. I colored the tree with mists watercolors and Gelatos. I backed the cardstock where the tree was cut from with patterned paper:

I decorated the tree with circles from a pack of Thickers. I also added a few more trees:

and some spatters:

I used a few different alphas for my title.

I am so glad you stopped by today!
Enjoy your day!

Winter- Cold

Hello!
It's the third Monday of the month, that means time for a new Cards In Envy challenge!
This time the challenge is to create an A2 card with the theme: Let it snow.
Nothing says winter in Wisconsin better than cold and snow, so that is what I used on my snow card:

I used an older winter line from Echo Park.

Here's a close up of my snowflake:
The bottom snowflake is a sticker, the middle one was fussy cut and I added Stickles. The top one is a sticker as well:

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you play along with this fun challenge!

Making Smores

Happy Sunday friends!
I dug out a few of my summer photos and decided to scrap some. These photos were taken last summer while Austin was roasting a marshmallow for a smore.
I used the December 1st sketch from Stuck?! along with a Christmas Carol challenge at My Scraps & More- use a series of 4 photos and 4 repeats of the same shape.
I used a few camping lines from Echo Park and Simple Stories and came up with this:

Here are some close ups:
I fussy cut the frame and added a popped up sticker:

I used some October Afternoon Mini Alphas along with JilliBean Soup alphas to create my title. I added some stitching:

I used a Tim Holtz stencil along with some distress stain and then added some spatters using Heidi Swapp Shine in navy. Check out that cute fox, he's from a JilliBean Soup camping line:

She's Off!

Hey there scrappy friends!
Recently my daughter, who just turned 18 last month, went with a (girl) friend out of town for the weekend. Just the 2 of them! I was a nervous wreck wondering if they were safe. Thank God for cell phones! Any way, I snapped this picture of her walking to her friends car as they were leaving, yes, she thought I was crazy, LOL, so I had to scrap it!
This layout was created for the #7 challenge at My Scraps & More. I used Audrey's fun cut file she created for this challenge along with Pink Paislee Citrus Bliss:

I also used a Just Nick cut file, the flower, which I used Gelatos to color and then stitched in place:

I added a flair from Crate Paper along with some acrylic embellies from the Citrus Bliss collection:

Isn't that cut file amazing?! I love it!

Enjoy your day!

Today Noted

Hello!
I'm
here today to share a layout I created for the word up Wednesday challenge over on the My Scraps & More  forum.
My challenge is to use the word "today" on your page.
I used Simple Stories We Are Family Red Calico/Linen for my background along with Pink Paislee Memorandum and Cedar Lane for this layout of Sierra holding her acceptance letter from the college she was hoping to go to!

Here are a few close ups:

Anything that is touching the big file folder, is only attached to the folder, since I will putting here acceptance letter in it.

Love the gold in this collection!

I added some arrows and stickers:

The "Dream Big" is washi tape, perfect for this page:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
