Fun Work Out

Hey there! Happy Saturday!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap and the October challenge at Creative Embellishments.
I used older photos of my kids at the pumpkin patch in 2007 long with an older Echo Park Halloween line and came up with this:

The chipboard pumpkins are from Creative Embellishments. I added some light modeling paste to them. Once dry, I painted with water colors. I added some thread and washi tape:

The word "fun" is also from Creative Embellishments. I added Gesso to it and then spritzed it with Heidi Swapp Color Shine. I added some mini alphas to finish my title off. The metal arrow clip is from Evalicious:

I grabbed the "pumpkin patch" sign from my stash:

Here is the sketch:

Here is the inspiration pic from Creative Embellishments:

I used the tree, bats, jack-o-lantern and colors as inspiration from the pic.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Scraptober Fest

Hey there and happy Friday scrappy friends!
I have been playing along this last week with the Scraptober Fest challenges I learned about thru Audrey at My Scraps & More. You can learn more about it by clicking HERE.
Today I am sharing my layout using all 4 challenges combined onto one page.
I used Fancy Pants Flutter for the color challenge at My Scraps & More.
I used the sketch by The Memory Nest.
I used at least 2 (I used 3) washi tapes for Scrap Our Stash's challenge.
And lastly, I used a photo of me, per Challenge YOUrself's challenge.

Here is what I came up with:

I added my washi tapes to the top and bottom of my page.

For my background I used a stencil and added some watercolors.

I added a gold arrow and title, some thread and lots of layers.

Loved the hello bubble and had to use it.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I used alpha stickers and added some stitching along with the fussy cut marshmallow circle:

Adventure Awaits!

Hey there scrappy friends!
Today I am sharing a layout I created combining a few challenges. I found a new scrappy site thanks to Audrey at My Scraps & More. The site is called Challenge YOUrself, a site specifically for scrapping yourself! How cool is that?! Anyway, they are participating in a Scraptober Fest this month. Their challenge is to create a layout with you in it. I combined that challenge along with the October 1st sketch at Stuck?!.
I used Dear Lizzy Serendipity and Evalicious goodies and came up with this page of the kids and I at Niagara Falls:

Here are some close ups:

I fussy cut the flower and added Gelatos to the wood veneer "Adventure Awaits":

The clip is from Evalicious, love it!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Today

Hey there!
Just popping in real quick tonight to share a layout I did this weekend.
I feel in love with the October 15th sketch at Stuck and finally found time to play with it! I used their sketch along with Scrap Our Stash Inks challenge:
I: inch (washi tape)
N: nine stars
K: key
S: stitching and stamping
I used Pink Paislee Cedar Lane and came up with this:

I cut the big star from white cardstock using my Cameo. I used watercolor to paint it and then stamped on it.

I used a red Gelato and water to color the key.

It's hard to tell in the pics, but I did color the wood veneer stars with a gold Sharpie.

Here is the fabulous sketch by Laura Whitaker:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great night!

Liberty Bell

Hey!
It's my day to psot the Friday Free For All challenge over at MS&M.
This summer Sierra and Greg took a trip out to Philedelphia for a family wedding. They stopped at the Liberty Bell and Greg took this picture of Sierra.
I used Pink Paislee Atlas for this page:

I used Gesso on my background and added some watercolor and mist to the top to make my photo mat "Pop":

I love the soft colors in this collection.
I added some thread under the wood veneer typewriter along with some of the enamel shapes from the collection:

I added a scalloped circled colored with paint along with some mini alphas and Thickers:

I love the "pop" those yellow doilies make and check out the wood veneer "happy" pennant, too cute!

I added just a few paint drips:

Enjoy your day!
Lisa

                                                            Here are some close ups:

I used a mask, light modeling paste and watercolors to create my background.

I fussy cut the mason jar, journaling spot, "Hello fall", "happy harvest, and the "So thankful for you" banner:

The "you", arrows and hearts are Thickers from my stash:

Just another look at the background:
