Sisters

Hello!
I am back again to share a layout I created for Paper House using a photo with one of my sisters and myself. I have 5 sisters and when I saw the Sisters 3 D Stickers, I knew I had to have them because I would get lots of chances to use them on my layouts. I also used a mixture of Paper House papers with them.

Sisters Layout Supplies:
I love this cool background on this Emerald Woodwork paper, it is so pretty! I used a scalloped circle cut file and stitched it in place. I layered my photo on top of one of the tags:

Check out this fabulous 3 D sticker! So many details, I love it! I layered a leaf cut file under it to give even more dimension:

The cluster of flowers 3 D stickers also was another fav of mine. It is oh so pretty and even has some sparkle to it!

One Fine Day

Hello again!
I am sharing a layout that I had up on the Robin's Nest Blog the other day. I created this page using Robin's Nest goodies. I love creating with these!
I used a photo of my sister and Sierra from Christmas last year and came up with this page:

Supplies:
I used white cardstock for my background and added some watercolors. Then I used a cut file along with the  Shocking Pink Glitter Sorbet Cardstock and cut it using my Cameo:

I added some stitching:

I laid my photo on the Green Butterflies Glitter Cardstock and cut straight edges except on the bottom- I fussy cut around the pretty butterflies:

I added a Little Friend doll and the "One Fine Day" card as my title. I cut and layered the journaling tag to fit under my title and also added some tangled thread:

I fussy cut a few chevron arrows out of the Rosy Chevron Cardstock and stitched them on my page:

Lastly, I added some Smoky Archival Seeds to the center of my flowers and a few on the outside of  the cut file. I love the look of these Archival Seeds- just adding a few makes the eye go right to the photo:

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Scrappy Retreat

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using yesterday's sketch over at the Turtle Soup.
I used Echo Park Creative Agenda and a Silhouette Studio cut file and came up with this fun layout about my scrappy retreat:

This isn't one of my favorite layouts, actually, I am still not sure I like it as it is a bit busy for me. I tried to tone the background down using Gesso and paint. I still wasn't happy so that's when I decided to add the cut file. It helped, but still isn't my fav :)

I used lots of stickers on this page and popped some up with foam tape:

I did some paper tearing to add more dimension to the layers:

Hope you will pop on over to the Turtle Soup and check out Bev's fantastic sketch!

Enjoy Life

Happy Monday!
I am up today on the Paper House Blog sharing a layout I created using 2 lines of the ColorWays collections- Emerald and Atlantis. I love the mix of teal and green together! I used a photo of myself . I think it's important to scrap a few "me" layouts here and there, so that when I am gone, my family can learn a bit more about me.
Here's my layout:

This Life

Happy Sunday and Happy Mothers day to all you Moms! I hope everyone had a fun filled National Scrapbooking Day yesterday. I was busy painting my daughters bedroom, so I didn't get any scrappy time yesterday.  I did get a layout done on Friday for Scrap Our Stash's and The ScrapRoom's NSD challenge.
The challenge was to use a sketch from the ScrapRoom and a stash list from Scrap Our Stash. I used Fancy Pants Meology, AC Dear Lizzy Serendipity and AC Amy Tangerine Plus One and came up with this layout of Sierra and a few friends at Prom her senior year:

I fussy cut and few flowers, added a flower and a few stick pins along with a tag:

I used a Thickers hash tag and a rub-on for my title. The heart was hand drawn with a marker:

I fussy cut the ampersand from a patterned paper and popped it up with foam tape over a hand cut frame and another tag. I added a few stickers, some stitching and some mist drops:

Here is the sketch I used:

and my stash items from the list:

PRE-SELECTED STASH LIST:
                                                    S ~ Stickers
                                                    T ~ Tags
                                                    A ~ American Crafts, Ampersand

                                                    H ~ Hashtag (#), Heart(s)

Hope you have a wonderful Mother's day! I am off to paint a few shelves, scrap for a bit and then headed to visit my Mom and then dinner with the kids at Culvers.

Cold water Challenge

Hello!
Welcome to the weekend!
The Turtle Soup has a mini crop going on to celebrate NSD.
I posted a challenge this morning:

Part of being a scrapper is having lots of scraps from layouts that we have made. For my challenge, I want you to use only scraps of paper on your layout and one of them has to be a weird shape. I also would like you to add 2 different alphas for your title.

Here is my layout using Crate paper Pool Side scraps:

I love frames and added a few of them:

I used watercolor for my background and added a bit of crazy fun stamping, LOL!

Here you can see a close up of that odd black and white striped paper I used:

I hope you will check out the crop going on- It runs thru the 15th. We always have a ton of fun!

Homecoming Date

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using some of the Robin's Nest fabulous product.
I used a photo of Austin and his date for Homecoming last year.

Homecoming Date Supply List:

I used a cut file and my Cameo to create my background
and added some watercolor:

I matted my photo on
Glitter Discovery Girl Paper
Fleur Honeycomb
Sour Apple Glitter Cardstock
and ripped the bottom edges:

I used some of the butterflies cut from the background and colored them with watercolor. I added gold Dew Drops for the trails.

I sprinkled some of the Cherry Kissed Archival Seeds around my page and glued them with Beacon's 3 in 1 glue. I also added a gold tab cut in half from the Saffron Mini Die-Cut Shapes:

For my title I used some mini alphas and some larger Thickers and stitched them in place:

I added the bird with thread under it and also added the bike card:

Thanks for stopping and sharing your day with me!
