Walk Thru

Hell there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using the Sketches In Thyme sketch.
I used Amy Tangerine Plus One along with M&MBI chipboard and a Becky Higgins PL stamp and came up with this layout of Sierra and a few friends on the Walk Thru at the elementary school in May:

I used watercolors to create my background. Then added the black chevron paper after I had fussy cut it a bit.

I added quite a bit of stitching to my embellies and layers.

I used Thickers for my title.

Love the "Here we go" card! I thought it was perfect for this page.

I wrote my journaling on the "Here's the Story" card and tucked it behind the layers.

Here's the sketch:

I added a few embellies in the upper left hand corner and some black mist spatters and I was done.
Stay scrappy my friends!

Scrappy Morning

Hello again!
I had some scrappy time this morning and wanted to share a few things I created.
I created this page using a sketch at Sketch-N-Scrap and Cocoa Vanilla Tis The Season:

I added watercolors to my background paper. I fussy cut the memories from patterned paper and added some stitching:

I also fussy cut a bell and popped it up on the journal card with foam tape:

For my title I used a chipboard piece and applied Liquitex Glass Beads with a paint brush and then sprayed it with mist:

I fussy cut a few more bells and added them to a few pennants:

Here is the sketch:

I created a Christmas card for the anything goes week 34 challenge at Christmas Card Challenges and used a sketch from Paper Issues. I used Carta Bella Merry & Bright along with rub-ons from my stash:

Here is the Paper Issues sketch:

Stay scrappy!

Football

Happy Friday!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for the July 15th sketch challenge at Sketch-N-Scrap and the 7/21 challenge to use a ticket, program, etc. at the Turtle Soup.
I used photos from last years Family Night at Lambeau Field for this fun page along with items from my stash:

I fussy cut my title from a piece of patterned paper and added the "Play" sticker:

I added a border and a 3D sticker:

Here is a look at the ticket. I also fussy cut the "I love football" pennant and added mini alphas over the "I" that says "we":

I added some mist, a journal spot, a sticker and mini alphas:

Here is the sketch:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Roy G Biv

Hey there scrappy friends!
Just wanted to share a layout I created for Stacey's Roy G Biv (colors of the rainbow- red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet) challenge at the Turtle Soup. I had a blast creating this fun layout and used up lots of buttons (and old Echo Park papers too!) from my stash:

I started my layout making a half circle template from scrap paper. I divided it up into 7 parts and cut off 1 piece time and traced that onto my patterned papers. Then I cut it out and placed on the white cardstock and then added some stitching. Finally, I added the buttons:

I cut the words "Color" and "World" on white cardstock using my Cameo and then colored them with Gelatos, water and a paintbrush. The days of the week piece and 24 seven are from Sn@p Carpe Diem:

I love how this layout turned out and am happy to use all those buttons from my stash!
Here is 1 more close up:

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Hello and happy hump day!
Just wanted to share a few cards I made yesterday.

Here is the sketch:

My second card was created for the shaped card challenge over at Turtle Soup. I used Pebbles From Me To You and came up with this:

This is another card I will be sending to my daughter this fall when she starts college, just to let her know I am thinking of her.

Stuck?!

Hello!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using the July 15th sketch at Stuck?!
I used Echo Park papers from my stash for this page:

I popped up the banner pieces with foam tape to add some dimension. I used some old Pink Paislee alphas:

The dream big tab was perfect for this college page along with the chipboard house:

Instead of stitching the circle, I decided to add a doily instead:

Here is the sketch:

Thanks for taking a look at my page!

Love Is All You Need!

Hey there!
I have a fun wedding card up on the Paper House Blog today that I created using the Noir ColorWays Collection. I love the black and white with the pops of gold in this collection. It is so elegant!
Love Is All You Need card
Love Is All You Need Supply List:
I used a few of the cards from the Accent Pack along with black and white cardstock to create the layers for the base of my card. Then I added some gold ribbon and topped that off with some of the heart die cuts from the Accent Pack and some of the gold puffy stickers. Finally I added a key from the Accent Pack on foam tape.

I added a small banner, also from the Accent Pack and stitched that in place and added a puffy gold heart.

This line is perfect for wedding cards, wedding photos or pretty much anything!

Ready To Shop!

Hey there!
I can't believe it's Sunday evening already! Where did the weekend go?
We were busy cleaning up from the storm that came thru on Thursday. It was a bad one, trees down all over around here and in the 2 neighboring towns. I did manage to find some scrapping time- only because it was so hot and humid- in the 90's! My way of staying cool :)
I played along with the sketch + 3 challenge over at Scrap Our Stash and combined it with the friendship challenge over at Turtle Soup. This photo was taken in October- our first selfie!  2 of my friends and I have gone on a shopping trip every year since we graduated from high school.
I used Fancy Pants Atwell and combined it with plenty from my stash. Here's a look at my page:

I created my background using a Tim Holtz stencil along with watercolor.  I added some spatters of watercolor and black mist.
I used Pink Paislee alphas that have been in my stash forever and added some stamping:

The papers are from the Atwell collection as well as the "Good stuff" sticky note. The "Snap" tab is from another Fancy Pants line.

The parenthesize and the "this" arrow are also Atwell's sticky notes. The wood veneer heart I colored with a red Gelato. The camera brad is from Simple Stories and the word stickers are Teresa Collins:

I added my journaling on the green tag under the photo. The stars are from Simple Stories. I love their clear, black stickers:

Here is the sketch + 3 challenge:

I used Simple Stories, Teresa Collins and Ultramarine.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a terrific Monday!

High School Grads

Hello!
Hope you are having a fabulous start to your weekend! It's been so hot the last few days that I have been stuck inside scrapping ;).
For this layout of Sierra and BFF, I played along with the sketch challenge over at Creative Scrappers and combined it with the Turtle Soup Birthday Bash challenge for 7/14- to celebrate a new path in life. What better way to start a new path in life than graduating from high school?!

I used a bunch of different products from my stash on this page:
Lawn Fawn papers
Evalicious wood veneer
Kaiser brads
Creative Embellishments stamp
Bella Blvd. alphas
Thickers
October Afternoon mini alphas
Gelatos
Just Nick Chopsticks cut file
Silhouette sun cut file

I backed the cut file with different patterned papers:

I colored the wood veneers using 3 different colors of Gelatos and added water to blend them. I colored the sun using watercolors and then stitched in place. I also added some stamping:

I fussy cut the clouds from patterned paper and popped a few up using foam tape. I did a mixed alpha title and love the look!

lastly, I added some mist spatters:

Here is the sketch:

Hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Graduation Page

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for the July 13th Birthday Bash challenge over at the Turtle Soup. The challenge was to use numbers on your project.
I used photos from Sierra's graduation ceremony and came up with this:

I used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe and some odds and ends embellies from my stash.
Here are some close ups:

Hope you have a fabulous day!
