Our Adventure Together

Hello and happy hump day!
I had some free time this morning and decided to play along with the August 1st challenge at CSI.
I used a bunch of stuff from my stash:
KaiserKraft paper (blue & green paper)
Amy Tan Plus One (grey paper and fussy cut feathers)
Pink Paislee (transparent pieces & "Blue Skies" diecut)
Dear Lizzie (fussy cut flowers, this piece is new and the mason jar)

My title is a variety of pieces: EK Success mini alphas, fussy cutting (adventure) and an old rub-on:

I used watercolors and Gelatos to paint my fussy cut flowers. I also added some Tim Holtz and Sn@p word phrases:

I love this fussy cut mason jar! I added some periwinkle colored thread to add some more texture to my page:

Here is the case file:

I used:
The scene: Girls having fun.
The Scheme: all 5 colors
Evidence: solid white background, flowers, wet medium and transparent stuff.
The sketch- love it!

I had a hard time with this color scheme, but after scrounging around in my scraproom, I found everything I needed to create this beautiful page!
Thanks for pushing me out of my comfort zone!

  1. That is such a pretty layout, Lisa. I love the overall softness of the watercolours. From the piece of floral pattern paper, to the hand painted flowers, from the jar to the feathers, you nailed the challenge colours. I can't believe you created this beautiful layout during a bit of free time. It would have taken me days. Great job. Thank you for sharing your work with us at CSI.
