Christmas

Hey there!
I am sharing a layout and card I created using a few sketches over at Creative Inspiration.
I used Basic Grey Juniper Berry for both.

I hand cut the triangles and then stitched them to my watercolored background. I used some old Simple Stories word stickers for my title and also added some MAMBI chipboard pieces:

I fussy cut the flowers from one of the papers:

Here is a card I created and used the same fussy cut flowers:

I am back today to share a layout I created using a Sketch-N-Scrap sketch along with Simple Stories Rad Grad. I used a few photos of Austin for this layout:

I fussy cut the globe from one of the patterned papers. I added a few stickers from the collection, popping some up with foam to add some dimension. I also added some old Chic Tags labels:

I added a piece of scalloped washi tape. I popped up another sticker with foam but first added some gold tangled thread under it:

Whisker Graphics

Hey there!
I am up on the Whisker Graphics Blog  today with a thank you gift I created.
I started my project with a red striped Bigger Bitty Bag from the Sample Set:

I added a piece of red corrugated paper, some gold thread and placed a Sweet Sticky Label on it. I added a gold "Thanks" sticker to the top along with a flower I made using Divine Twine. I tied a piece of Red Divine Twine, added some stitching and enamel stars:

Here's a side view of the layers:

Lastly, I used some more of the Divine Twine to add a bow to the tag. I added a few scrappy embellishments inside. I closed the bag by folding over the top, punching a hole on each side and wrapping the Divine Twine and tied it with a bow:

I love how this turned out and it will make a great gift for a scrappy friend!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Senior Prom

Hey there friends!
I am up on the Sketches In Thyme Blog today sharing my take on sketch #334.
I used papers from Amy Tan, Bella Blvd and Paper House. I used a frame, rub-ons and card from Crate Paper. I also used a flair from Fancy Pants and Thickers:

I used black cardstock for my base. I added a doily, frame, flair, brad and star to this embellie cluster:

I cut a doily in half and placed it on top of card and patterned paper, stitching it in place:

I added the other half of the doily under the photo and used Thickers for my title:

I love this photo of my daughter with a few friends at her senior prom!

I used Simple Stories Take A Hike along with a Silhouette cut file for this layout:

I cut the cut file on white cardstock and backed it with patterned papers. I added a few stickers and used a date stamp:

I added a few layers under my photo along with a zigzag stitch. I hand cut trees from patterned paper and added some machine stitching:

On the background, I used watercolors. I added another sticker that is popped up with foam:

I would love to see what you create with this challenge! Please share on the thread over at Creative Inspiration.

Enjoy your day!

Picnic

Hi there!
I am sharing a layout I created playing along with a few challenges.
I used a photo of Austin last 4th of July when we met some of my family at Lake Wazee to have a picnic and swim. I used Simple Stories Sea To Shining Sea along with some Creative Embellishments chipboard and wood veneer for this layout:

I added a few mists to my background using the packaging technique. I had a hard time finding the correct navy to go with it and wish I would have watered it down a bit so it wasn't so bold.
I did some color blocking here with a few patterned papers. I added a few stickers, tangled thread and the chipboard word piece:

I backed the main chipboard stars with a few patterned papers and then added my photo right on top. I added a few stickers, a fussy cut cupcake and some CE wood veneer stars:

I added another sticker and tangled thread here. I love the texture I get from the thread and it adds that pop of navy. I used alphas from the Simple Stories collection for my title:

I fussy cut the multi colored stars from one of the papers and added  some CE wood veneer stars and star stickers. I also added some messy machine stitching:

I played along with Scrap The Boys You Are A Star challenge:

and the July challenge at Creative Embellishments:

On The Beach

Hello and happy Monday!
I am sharing a card for the new challenge that is up over at Cards In Envy today. The challenge is to create any theme card and use a beach image on it.
I used Paper House Productions and a small sentiment chipboard piece from Creative Embellishments for this birthday guy card:

I tore the edge off of one of the beach themed papers from Paper House. I added an acetate square, the sail boat and frame also from Paper House.

Create Adventure

Hello!
I am back to share my second layout created for CSI. I am also entering this in the Double D nautical challenge.

I used Simple Stories Sea To Shining Sea and a Just Nick cut file for this layout of Austin:

I fussy cut the banner from one of the papers. I added watercolor to my background using the packaging technique and spatters. I cut the cut file on my Cameo using a patterned paper. I added some machine stitching to it. I also added some punched waves and some stitching. I fussy cut the cluster and added a sticker popped up with foam and a heart sticker:

I added more stickers here, some popped up with foam to add some dimension:

I fussy cut the boat, popped it up with foam and added a few more stickers:

I love how this layout turned out and it feels so good to use my stash!

Here is the case file:

I was inspired by the colors and beach theme. I used nautical elements, an animal and a wet medium. I documented a trip to the beach.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Cutest Little Snowflake

Hey there!
I am up on the Off The Rails blog today sharing a mid month reveal using the mood board.
I used Echo Park stash and ScraPerfect for this page:

I used ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever  along with the No Clog Writing Cap  to add patterned paper behind my cut file from the Silhouette store. The No Clog Writing Cap is perfect for adding glue to small spots:

I also used the Best Glue Ever to add a dab of glue to my enamel dots. I added watercolor to my background paper:

I used scraps of paper for my border and added some machine stitching. The large diecut snowflake has been sitting on my desk from another layout I created. I added an enamel dot to the center:

I added a few sticker snowflakes and another diecut snowflake here:

Here is the mood board:

Hello Summer

Hi there!
I am sharing a layout I created using the July Golden Globe challenge at Scrap Our Stash. I used Simple Stories for this summer layout of Greg and Austin:

Here's the challenge:

I was inspired by the yellow and blue in the challenge picture and decided to use those colors for my layout. I added watercolors to my background in blue tones. I used watercolors and Gelatos to color the Paper Issues sun cut file. I fussy cut this set of circles from one of the papers. I added the "summer" diecut and a few phrase stickers:

I added diecuts here along with some tangled thread and a cloud sticker:

Another cloud sticker, a flower sticker, another circles diecut and some more tangled thread to complete this embellie cluster:

I added a strip of washi tape to the left side of the layout and a strip of patterned paper on the right side.
I love all the texture and color this layout has!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
