The Best Cleaner Ever

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
I am back to share an easy way to take something sticky off of a floor. We got a new camper and the first time I put the slide out on it out, I noticed a strip of grey sticky stuff on the floor. It was really sticky like glue residue.

I ran in the house and grabbed my bottle of The Best Cleaner Ever. I sprayed the spot and let it sit for 10 minutes while I did some packing for our trip. I used a paper towel, some elbow grease and wiped it up:

Clean as a whistle and no more sticky residue! Once again, The Best Cleaner Ever came through!

The next time you need to remove something sticky, try The Best Cleaner Ever!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Homecoming

Hey there!
I am popping in real quick to share a layout I created with Homecoming pics from last year. I used a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap and combined it with the Golden Globe stash challenge at Scrap Our Stash.
I used Echo Park from my stash for this layout of the guys:

I used quite a few stickers and popped some up with foam to add some dimension:

Yeah, Austin hates having his picture taken, so these are the photos I get, LOL:

A Graduation Layout

Hello!
I am back to share my layout using sketch #338 at Sketches In Thyme.
I used Simple Stories Rad Grad for this page of Austin:

This was a fairly simple layout for me, but it took me forever to do. I wanted to add orange to the layout to bring out the ribbon on the flower, but not sure if I should have? I popped the globe up with foam tape. I created my border using 2 different patterned papers and stitching:

I fussy cut the cap, banner and "2018" from one of the papers and popped the cap and banner up with foam. I added the Graduation Day sticker:

I love this quote from Doctor Seuss and had to include it on my layout:

Here's the sketch:

Thanks for dropping by and have a great day!

Yellow & Black

Hello!
Today I would like to share another card for today's challenge reveal at Cards In Envy. The challenge is to use yellow and black as prominent colors on your card. I used Fancy Pants Joy Parade for this card:

I layered black cardstock between my patterned papers to make them pop. I added Distress Oxide Ink to the printed words paper and then added some diecuts and stitching. Finally I added a few sequins and my cork sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Love My Tribe!

Hey there!
I am up at Off The Rails today sharing a Distress Oxide Ink tutorial along with my take on the August mood board. Hope you will check it out!

I was inspired by the tribal people and decided to search the Silhouette store for a cut file. I was really surprised at how many they had! I was also inspired by the colors.

Here is my layout using Simple Stories I Am:

Here are a few close ups:

I love how this tepee turned out! I backed it with some patterned paper and added some stitching. I added diecuts, stickers and a few layers of paper under my photo:

I colored the title with lots of layers using Distress Oxide inks and mists. I had a hard time getting the color I wanted. I fussy cut the feathers from one of the papers:

I love, love this chipboard banner and it was perfect for this page! I fussy cut the label and dream catcher from the papers. I added a bit of stamping and stitching:

Here's the mood board that inspired this page:

I love how this page came out!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Insta Love

Hey there friends!
Over at CSI is a new case file (#260) to play along with!
I used a Hip Kit Club kit- mostly the October 2017 kit for this layout of Sierra and I:

I added watercolor to my white cardstock background.  I added a layer of tissue paper and the blue patterned paper. I added a frame behind that. I fussy cut the blues and light pink flowers and then added the diecut flowers on top:

Here I added more fussy cut flowers, diecuts and an old Elle Studio label to hold some journaling:

I created another embellie cluster on the left edge of my page. I love these alphas that came in the kit- I believe they are a Hip Kit exclusive. I added a piece of torn washi and some stitching to finish off this page:

Here is the case file:

I had a blast playing along with this case file and would love to see what you create! Play along with us and add your link to the CSI blog.

Take It Easy

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
It's the first Monday of the month and that means a new challenge is up on the Cards In Envy blog!
Today's challenge is to use something new on your card.
I get the Hip Kit Club kits and hadn't used February's kit yet, so I opened it and used mostly Pinkfresh Studio's Let Your Heart Decide for this get well card:

Hope you will play along with us!

Tricycle Ride

Hello!
I am sharing a layout I created using the new sketch at Creative Inspiration.
I dug deep in my stash and used Fancy Pants Sidewalk. Remember that collection? It was my favorite! I am surprised I had some of it left!
I used an older photo of Sierra riding her trike:

I heat embossed a frame from Creative Embellishments and placed my photo under it along with some layers of papers and labels. The girl and dog are rub-ons from the collection. They are so cute!

I added some watercolor to my background. Here I added some of the stickers from the collection. I added a strip of red polka dot paper to the bottom and added some stitching:

I placed a chipboard flower cluster to the bottom right of the photo and added some rub-ons. The alphas are from this collection as well. I added some stitching through it and then used a black marker to trace parts of the letters. The "good ol' summertime" is a rub-on:

I fussy cut the circle strip from one of the papers and stitched through it. I added the "Sweet summer" rub-on and a few stickers:

I added a photo corner, stickers and rub-ons. I added a bit of white Gesso to the cloud to tone down the color:

Here is Bev's sketch:

Hope you will play along with us!

You Color My World

Hello there!
I am sharing a layout for my anything goes challenge over at Creative Inspiration today.
I used a variety of manufacturers on this page of my kids:

I was inspired by this chipboard piece from Creative Embellishments. I added white Gesso to the "Color" part and then added a rainbow of Gelatos. I colored the rest with a black Sharpie:

I created my rainbow using Distress Oxide Inks. I used a round sponge applicator to apply them to my background. I used the same inks, added a bit of water to create my spatters:

Like I said, I used a variety of manufacturers and stuff from my stash for this page:
Acrylic hearts- Elle's Studio
red and orange labels- Chic tags
Butterflies and pansy- Paper House
stickers- Amy Tangerine, Simple Stories, Fancy Pants and Dear Lizzy
Bling- Bazzill and Kaisercraft
Pearl- Recollections
Enamel Dots- MME, Cocoa Vanilla and KI

I love how this layout turned out!

CSI: Wander

Hey there!
I am back today to share a layout I created for CSI case file #259. I used Simple Stories You Are Here and Echo Park Splash for this layout:

I used watercolors to add some color to my white cardstock. All of these embellies are from the Simple Stories You Are Here collection except the blue patterned paper under my photo. That is from the Echo Park Splash collection. I fussy cut the plane, "paradise" tag and palm trees from patterned papers. I added a few diecuts, including the suitcase under the photo. I also added a geo tag sticker and the "we are here" sticker along with a chipboard frame:

Another fussy cut tree and a camera. I added a few more sticker. I fussy cut the waves from the Echo park collection:

These are all diecuts from Simple Stories. along with an arrow sticker:

More diecuts to top the page off:

Here is the case file:

I was inspired by all 5 colors. I used a map pattern, solid white background, architectural and travel elements and trees for my evidence. My testimony is: document a vacation.

I hope you are inspired and play along with us!
