A Layout About Me

I have been having fun playing at a new scrappy board called My Scraps And More and decided to try out for their design team. One of the requirements for this was to create a new layout using this recipe:

M- use products from your fav manufacturer- I chose Echo Park

Y- yellow

S- sewing- I love sewing on my layouts!

C- circles

R- ribbon

A- All About you! I chose to scrap my Farmville addiction.

P- punch- love me some border punches!

S- style- this layout pretty much represents my style, I think.

MSW April 1st sketch

I had a chance to play with the April 1st layout sketch at MSW and had a blast with it! I love Lucy's sketches! If you get a chance stop on over and check them out!

I used pics of Sierra and Austin tubing with their cousins on our vacation last summer. This was Austin's favorite part of vacation, spending time with his cousin Mitchell.

MSW reveal

My Sketch World and My Scraps and More Challenges

Of coarse, I always play at my home, aka MSW, but I found a new message board, blog and store! It's called My Scraps and More! The girls are so sweet, just like the girls at MSW and Tammi, the owner is awesome, just like Lucy! I have combined a few of the challenges from these 2 sites and love the outcome!!

For my first layout, Hoover Dam, I used Ann's Fussy Cutting Challenge at MSW and the April 1st Sketch Challenge at My Scraps and More and came up with this layout:

For my second layout, Like A Cheese Head, I used Cindy's Lyric Challenge at MSW and the sketch contest sketch by Jana Eubanks at My Scraps and More and made this layout:

Scrappy Time!

I squeezed in some scrappy time here and there this week along with a few hours last week and a few today. I did manage to get 3 cards and 3 layouts done. I can't share 1 card and 1 layout quite yet, but will as soon as I can.

For my first card, I combined 3 challenges, the April 7th card sketch at Sassy Lil Card Sketches , the April Colour Challenge at Design Dollies (which was, royal blue, orange, lime green and white) and Lisa's rub-on challenge at MSW.

I have had these papers and rub-on in my stash for quite some time, it felt good to use them!

For my second card I used the April 1st sketch at MSW and combined it with the 2nd challenge at Scraptivation, which was photo inspiration challenge.
