Smile

Hey there!
I am back today to share a layout created for Sketches In Thyme using a sketch by Laura Rumble and the March Hip Kit Club kit and some embellies from my stash:

I created the grid by using teal embroidery floss and had stitching.  I added a few layers of patterned paper, tissue paper and some embellies. I fussy cut the flowers, "Smile" and rainbow. I added a few wood pieces from my stash:

Here I used a Heidi Swapp glitter frame as my base. I added patterned paper, fussy cut flowers, a flair from Fancy Pants, wood embellies and enamel dots:

I machine stitched around this patterned paper, added a wood veneer piece, fussy cut flowers and rainbows:

I found that journaling card in my stash and machine stitched it to patterned paper from the kit. I added some fussy cut flowers, a punched flower and some wood pieces:

Here is the fun sketch :

I hope you will play along with us this month!

A New Technique!

Hey there friends!
It's my day up at Creative Embellishments. Today I am sharing a new to me technique- embossed resist technique. I created 3 cards using CE Stamps added some chipboard sentiments to them:

To create the background, I added clear embossing ink to the Twinkle Stamp and stamped it on textured white cardstock. Then added clear embossing powder and heat. Finally, I added some Distressed Oxide Inks and blended them together. The embossed areas resisted the Oxide inks for this cool look. I added a layer of colored cardstock under the background and added some machine stitching. On this card I added the Missing You sentiment from the Small Sentiment Words. I heat embossed this as well. Then I finished the card off with the chipboard envelope from the Everyday Icons:

I created the background the same way on this card, but I used the Distressed Grid Stamp. For my sentiment, I used the word "Hope" from the Dream Word Set. I used mists to color it. I punched a few butterflies and stitched thru them:

For the last card, I used the same technique along with the Circles Stamp.  I used the word "Imagine" from the Dream Word Set and used mists to color it. I again added a few butterflies and stitching:

This was such a fun technique to try and I love how the cards came out! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Home Is Where I Park It

 Hey there friends!

I am excited to be sharing my first design team project for Richard Garay Designs! I used a variety of their products on this fun camping page:

The camper and chair are from the Happy Camper Digital Stamp Set. I colored them with watercolor colored pencils. I used Tangy Apple & Rich Cactus Sugar Drops on my background and mixed a little water with them:

I used the Bountiful Trees Stamp Set and stamped a few trees- 2 with Tangy Apple Sugar Cube and 2 with Rich Cactus Sugar Cube. Then I fussy cut all of these.

The title "Home Is Where I Park It" is from the Happy Camper Digital Stamp Set. I backed it with Rich Cherry Cardstock. The "Welcome Home" is from the same set

Here is another camper that was included in the digital set. I also added a few more trees here as well. I backed my photo with Blueberry Card Stock:

I used a frame from the Boho Frames and colored it with the watercolor pencils:

I am loving all of the Richard Garay products and look forward to creating more projects with them!

Enjoy, Go Relax

Hey there friends!
Today I am sharing another layout for CSI. This time I am using case file #328 along with lots of stash! I was inspired by the colors and beach theme.

At the top of my page, I tore the Robin's Nest Sour Apple cardstock and placed a torn strip of Simple Stories dotted paper under it. Then I machine stitched. I added the Amy Tan These Are The Days card. That cute crab sticker,  anchor, journaling card are from Fancy Pants Making Waves. The tag  is from FP Collecting Moments. The flair is from Accent Scrapbooking:

I fussy cut the flip flops from one of the papers in Fancy Pants Summer Sun collection. The flower puffy stickers are from FP Millie & June collection. The labels and arrows are from FP Joy Parade. The large flower is from FP Hello Summer

The chipboard button is from FP Collecting Moments. The large flower is from FP Hello Summer. The title was created using Fancy Pants as well:

I love how I used all stash on this page and made it look new again!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

All Smiles

Hey there creative friends!
Hope everyone is safe and healthy!
I am sharing a layout with you created for Creative Embellishments.
It's been 4 years since Sierra had her braces taken off, I figured it was finally time to scrap it!

The Braces Set was just what I needed to scrap these photos. I used a layer of Gesso and then acrylic paints to color the mouth. For the "braces" I sprayed them with a Mister Huey's mist. I used 3 photos- a before, during, and an after:

I used PinkFresh Studios water colors on my background and then added some embellies from my stash. I finished off my layout with some Buttons Galore & More sequins:

I used some foam alpha Thickers and Little Birdie Craft flowers. Here's another close up of that braces set:

This was such a fun layout to create and that chipboard piece was perfect!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Cold Case #329

Hey there creative friends!
Today I am sharing a page created for CSI using cold case #329. This is a stash busting case file. I used some Echo Park stash for this page along with a cut file from Silhouette. The scene reminded me of camping, so that is what I went with for this page:

I backed the cut file with different papers from the Everyday Eclectic and So Happy collections. I fussy cut the balloons from one of the papers:

I backed my photo with a few different patterned papers and popped it up with craft foam. I fussy cut the camper from a Jillibean Soup paper. I fussy cut the flowers from the Echo Park papers:

I added some fussy cut clouds and watercolors:

I hope I have inspired you to dig out those old collections and make them new again!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

In The Tunnel

Hey friends!
Today I am sharing a layout created for the Creative Embellishments August mood board challenge. Besides using CE products, I used bits and pieces from my stash:

I added Gesso to my teal background paper. Then I added some watercolor. To make waves, I used a  wonky scallop cut file from Paper Issues that I cut on my Cameo. I added watercolor to these and then when dry, I stitched them on my page. I added Lindy's mists to the Mermaids. I also added some of the new Mirror Acrylic Blue Star Pieces.

I used The Best Glue Ever and added a thin layer of it tto 2 of the mermaids and then sprinkled it with sequins. I added some Echo Park water bubble stickers and an old Amy Tangerine heart sticker. I added some papers from Echo Park and a gold frame from Crate Paper behind my photo:

I added a few gold stars and some white arrow stickers from Paper House along with some fussy cut fish from an old Echo park paper. Check out all the sparkle those mermaids have:

I added some Lindy's mists to the Tropical Fish as well. I used some old alphs from Echo Park for my title:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Explore Europe

Hello friends!
Today I am sharing a travel layout I created for CSI using case file #327 and stash items. I was inspired by the colors and travel theme:

I used Fancy Pants As You Wish  and Simple Stories mostly for this page. I added strips of papers down the left side of my page. All but the black is FP. The black is Simple Stories DIY I think.  The diecut card and frame are from Fancy Pants. I fussy cut the green circle and airplane from an old Deja Views paper. I added the white clear sticker from Simple Stories:

Here I added a fussy cut red  circle from Simple Stories, the & diecut is from Fancy Pants. I fussy cut the suitcases from the old Deja Views paper. I added some cork chevrons from Spiegelmom Scraps. I fussy cut the word "explore" from one of the FP papers from another collection. I added some alpha stickers to finish off my title:

Here I added more cork chevrons, a fussy cut suitcase and a sticker from Fancy Pants:

It feels so good to use stash! I probably have enough stash to use for a year, LOL! How is your stash?
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
