Sympathy Cards

Hey there!
I am back to share a few simple and fast sympathy cards with you that I created for ScraPerfect.
I used the Best Glue Ever to put these cards together:

I created 2 cards:
I used a white card base and added a piece of colored cardstock slightly smaller than the base. Next I cut a piece of white cardstock slightly smaller than the cardstock. I added Distressed Oxide Inks and a bit of water to a piece of plastic packaging and smooshed it to the white cardstock. I did this with 2 different colors. Once it was dry, I adhered the layers together using the Best Glue Ever. I diecut the sentiment from the same cardstock and used the Best Glue Ever to adhere that as well.

Finally I added a small Paper House puffy sticker.
Here are the cards individually:

I love how fast and simple these were to create!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Blueberries

Hey there!
I am back to share another layout with you that I created for Creative Embellishments.
We planted blueberry bushes several years ago and the last 4 years have been getting quite a few! So I had to create this layout:
I  used the Blueberries chipboard piece on this page.

I used all of the pieces and used a variety of mists to color them. Behind my photos, I added paper from Paige Evans (blue) and Maggie Holmes (purple):

I added a bunch of the blueberries to the right of the photos. I added a fussy cut mason jar and the "Goodbye city life" sticker from Studio Calico. I also added a JilliBean Soup sticker word. I fussy cut the "Berries" letters from a Studio Calico paper:

I added more berries to the bottom left side of my photos:

I fussy cut the letters of "Fresh" "Yummy" and "Blue" from one of the Studio Calico papers as well. I added a Basic Grey tag sticker, JilliBean Soup word sticker (Garden Fresh) and an October Afternoon label with the word "harvest", which is an old Chatterbox rub-on:

I added some more stickers, labels and my journaling under my title:

I used lots of stash for this layout and made it look new again by adding some chipboard and fussy cutting.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Too Cute To Spook

Hey there friends!
Today I am sharing a layout created for CSI case file #298. I used Fancy Pants Spellbound and MME Lost & Found Halloween collections for this layout:

I added watercolor to my background using the packaging technique. I added a few layers of paper under my photo along with a glittery spider web from my stash. I used DCWV sequins and spider diecuts and then added the "too cute to spook" layered embellie from MAMBI:

I heat embossed 2 Creative Embellishment fairies and added them to my layout:

The "boo", moon and bats embellie is from MAMBI:

I added a few embellies from MME. I used a punch to make the striped scalloped border. I added a few more sequins here along with a dangling spider:

Here's the case file:

I had a blast using these items from my stash and it sure feels good to use them!
Hope you will play along with us, there are some wonderful prizes up for grabs.

4th of July for ScraPerfect

Hey there Friends!
I created this fun 4th of July layout using some ScraPerfect products along with Bella Blvd. All American:

Here's how I made the foiled stars:
I diecut the stars using my Cameo. I added a drop of the Best Glue Ever:

I spread the glue around using a paint brush, rinse the paint brush immediately:

Let the glue dry until it is clear (it's white when you put it on). When it is dry, it will be tacky. Place the Transfer Foil, foil side up, on top of the stars and rub with your finger. You will be able to see the outline from the stars:

Peal the foiled stars off. I love using textured cardstock for this technique as it gives a distressed look:

To remove any stickiness left by the glue, I take the Perfect Crafting Pouch and just run it over the stars:

Here are a few close ups:
I  fussy cut the hearts from one of the papers and added stickers. I added a layer of patterned paper behind my photos and used a card from the collection to add between my photos. I used alphas from Bella Blvd, as well and added some machine stitching:

I added another sticker, a piece of chipboard and my journaling here:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Wild Boys

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout created for CSI. I used Fancy Pants Be Different along with some October Afternoon stash for this page:

I fussy cut the monsters from the Be Different collection. The blue paper is from October Afternoon Rocket Man:

Here are a few more fussy cut monsters. I also fussy cut the word "Boys" from one of the papers. I added a few star buttons and the "POW" diecut. I used a piece of corrugated paper that came with this Fancy pants collection. I love the texture it adds:

I fussy cut the word "Wild" from one of the papers as well. I added the diecut balloons and "monsters rule":

I fussy cut the title from the papers too and added some stitching. I added a few stickers:

Here's the case file:

I had so much fun creating this layout and I love how it came out!

Families Are Forever: Creative Embellishments

Hey there friends!
I am back to share a layout with you using some fun Creative Embellishment chipboard pieces. These photos of my family and I were taken while on vacation in Germany in June:

I fussy cut a bunch of flowers from a Maggie Holmes Carousel paper and colored them with watercolors. I tucked in Fall Leaves wood veneer, colored with Nuvo Glitter Markers, in the clusters of flowers:

I decided to frame my photos with 2 of the Heart Doodle Frames, colored with a Nuvo Glitter Marker. I added a puffy sticker bow to one of the frames and tucked in a few puffy hearts as well:

For my title, I used the Families Are Forever chipboard piece. I used 2 different colors of the Nuvo Glitter Markers on this:

I tucked in another Fall Leaves wood veneer at the bottom of the layout. This leaf reminded me of a heart, so I decided to use it that way:

This layout was so fun to create and I love how it turned out!
