Bear With Me

Hey there friends!

I have a fun card to share with you today! I created this card for a coworker. With the Covid and going back to school, we have so much more to do for meals in the cafeteria. I am sure it's going to be one crazy year!

I used Tangy Gum Card Stock and popped up Sour Watermelon Card Stock on top of it. I used the Cyberspace stamp and Tangy Gum Sugar Cube to stamp on white card stock. The bear and sentiment are from the Barely Awake Stamp Set. I stamped them using Black Taffy Sugar Cube. I colored the bear with my watercolor pencils. I finished the card off with some Black Taffy Twine.

This was such a fun card to create!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you soon!

Right Now

Hey there!
I am up on the Sketches In Thyme blog today with this beautiful layout of Sierra and I using sketch #438 and an old Hip Kit Club kit:

K

I placed a piece of chevron paper on the left side of my paper and then added a small strip of pink down the center of it. I used embroidery floss and hand stitched down the strip. I added one of those beautiful gold, flower frames here along with flair, enamel dots and puffy sticker:

I cut this gold frame in 2 pieces and the bigger piece to the bottom right of the photo and placed the other piece in the upper right corner. I fussy cut the bow, leaves and butterfly. I added puffy stickers, enamel dots and date stamp:

I love how bright and fun this layout is!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Headin' Into The Great Outdoors

 Hey there friends!

Today I am sharing my layout for case file no. 332 at CSI. I used Cosmo Cricket (remember them?) Mr. Campy along with some BoBunny stickers from my stash for this camping page of some friends and I:

I created shelves using patterned paper strips and added some machine stitching. I added some BoBunny corner stickers and the "oh snap" banner is from my stash:

Ifussy cut some leaves from one of the papers and added a wood veneer sun from my stash:

I fussy cut my title from one of the papers and added some BoBunny and Tim Holtz stickers:

The camper and car was a border from the collection that I fussy cut:

It feels so good to use my stash! I bet I could scrap a year without buying anything new, lol!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Miniature Bride

Hi there!
Happy 85th birthday in heaven to my Dad!
I am back to share a wedding layout that I created for Creative Embellishments. I used a variety of chipboard pieces from the store:

I have been dying to use the Classic Pickup Set and finally remembered I had this pic of Sierra in my friends wedding back in 2001. It was perfect! I used Lindy's & Heidi Swapp Mists to get the perfect color. I added a piece of the Dripping Heart Lace Border under the truck and left it natural. I placed foam Thickers on top for my subtitle. I added flowers from Little Birdie and Cocoa Vanilla along with a stick pin from my stash:

I used papers from my stash for the background, tearing it and added some cardstock and stitching. I added a doily, my photo with a few layers of patterned paper and topped it off with the Circle Vine Frame sprayed with mists:

This picup and tree is from the Classic Pickup Set as well. I used mists and Nuvo Glitter Markers to color them. I added some bling and punched butterflies:

I added the Heart Strings Border on the right side of my page. This was colored with the same mists as the truck:

This was such a fun layout to create and I love how it came out!
It's hard to believe Sierra is 22 years old now. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Live In The Moment

Hello!

Today I would like to share a layout with you that I created for Richard Garay Designs. I used lots of fun RG products along with PinkFresh Studios My Favorite Story.

I used Sour Crush & Sweet Blue Sugar Cubes and applied to plastic packaging, added a little water and used the kissing technique to apply to my white cardstock background.I hand cut a few clouds and inked the edges using the same Sugar Cubes. I used the Bold Burst Die to create my sun and tucked it behind a cloud:

I added a few layers of patterned papers behind my photo and added some die cuts:

I did some hand stitching on a few of the clouds using embroidery floss. I added my title:

I fussy cut the rainbow strips and added machine stitching in matching threads. I lifted the outside of the strips to add some texture:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Explore Faith

Hey there friends!
I'm back to share my second  layout with you for today. This layout was created for the Creative Embellishments September challenge.
I used some Robin's Nest papers from my stash for these photos taken inside a church in Germany:

I used the words "explore" & "faith" from the Adventure Word Set and colored it with mist. I used a Nuvo Glitter Marker in gold and ran it on the outside of the words. I added 3 cork doves and a heart from PaperHouse:

To the right of my photo, I placed the Industrial Light Hanging Chandelier. I used mists, Nuvo Glitter Marker in gold and acrylic paint to add color:

I hung 2 of the Industrial Hanging Light Bulbs from the top left of the page. These were colored the same way as the chandelier:

I tucked in a Vintage Lantern behind my photo at the bottom. This was colored the same way as the lights:

This was such a fun layout to create and I love the variety of chipboard pieces Nicolle has in the Creative Embellishments store!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

#Pandemic Lunches

Hey there friends!
I have a few layouts to share today. This first layout is for CSI using case file No. 330. I used a few old collections from Authentique for this layout about my staff and I serving grab and go lunches from March- mid June during the Covid 19 shutdown of school:

I did lots of fussy cutting flowers for this page. I added the  "shine"die cut along with a heart chipboard piece from Creative Embellishments. I colored the heart with a Nuvo Glitter marker:

I made a few pockets out of the text patterned stamp die cuts by hand stitching with embroidery floss. I added the coffee cup and cupcake chipboard pieces from the Everyday Icon Set from Creative Embellishments. I colored them with Nuvo Glitter markers. I fussy cut the pink coffee cup from a patterned paper from Pebbles Girl Squad:

I backed the photo on patterned paper and then popped it up with craft foam to give the layout some dimension. I added a quote and a few word die cuts under it:

I used the #Pandemic and colored it with the Nuvo Glitter Markers as well. I finished off my title with white foam Thickers:

I had a blast creating this layout and love how it came out!
Hope you find some time to play along with us this month. There are some great prizes up for grabs.
