Fun!

Hey there!
I am on spring break this week and didn't really have much planned with Greg working and Austin in school. This meant more scrappy time for me! Whoop! It's been awhile since I used an Let's Get Sketchy sketch, so when I saw this one, it was so fun that I had to play along!
I used Pink Fresh for this fun page of the guys at a wedding in Reno a few years ago:

This was a strip of photos taken in the photo booth at the wedding. I added some black & white paper behind the photo and then added that puffy gold scallop sticker to the side. I added the Simple Stories "party time" diecut to the side as well:

I fussy cut the gold word "fun" from one of the cards. I added the blue diecut circle as well as some stickers:

Here I added a few stickers and some machine stitching:

Here's the fun sketch:

This was such a fun page to create and I am hoping to play along again at LGS soon!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Dies R Us

Hey friends!
I am sad to say this is my last post for Dies R Us. As much as I would have loved to have stayed for the next term, I decided not to with me traveling in Europe for a few weeks in June.
For today's post, I created a beautiful "Thinking of You" card:

I used Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 paper pad for my card and stitched the layers in place. I used the Frantic Stamper Geometric Lace Flower Doily die and cut it out of teal patterned paper. I cut the Cheery Lynn Designs Olive Branch twice from green patterned paper. I stamped the flower with 3 different Distress Oxide Inks:
I outlined the flower with a black Sharpie. I fussy cut the leaves and flower.
I glued these all together using ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever with the No Clog Writing Cap attached to get just the right amount of glue.

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store. For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.
I would like to thank Dies R Us for allowing me to design for them the last 6 months. Thank you!

Thank You Card for ScraPerfect

Hey friends!
I am back today to share a beautiful card with you that I have created for ScraPerfect.
I used Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid 6x6 paper pad, stamps from JoAnn's, the Perfect Crafting Pouch and the Best Glue Ever with the No- Clog Writing Cap attached for this card:

I used to Perfect Crafting Pouch  and ran it across my patterned papers and cardstock. This ensures a nice crisp image:

I stamped the leaves with black ink. I used 3 Distress Oxide Inks to stamp my flowers. I heat embossed my sentiment:

I outlined my flowers with a black Sharpie to make them pop. I fussy cut the flowers and leaves and used the Best Glue Ever with the No Clog Writing Cap attached to get in those small spaces:

The Best Glue Ever works on all type of surfaces, including foam which I used to pop up the main flower:

Here's a close up of my card:

I love how this card turned out!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Another Christmas Card

Hey all,
I am on spring break this week, so that means a little more scrappy time.
I played along with the second card sketch at Sketch-N-Scrap and came up with this Christmas card:

I used Fancy Pants Cottage Christmas for this card.
Here's the sketch:

I Love You...

Hey there friends!
I am sharing a layout I created using the March challenge at Scrap The Boys and a cut file from Paper Issues. I used an old Little Yellow Bicycle line for this layout of Austin and I:

I added a few layers of patterned paper under my photo. I found those fussy cut flowers on the floor in my scraproom, LOL! I added a stick pin, some star stickers and the chipboard "together" banner:

I added 3 chipboard stars from Creative Embellishments and backed them with patterned paper using the Best Glue Ever from ScraPerfect:

I added a few punched stars and cut the words "Dream Big" from one of the papers. I backed the cut file with patterned paper and then traced around it with a brown Sharpie:

Here's the inspiration photo:

Tis The Season

Hey there friends!
I am sharing a Christmas card I created using a sketch at Sketch-N-Scrap. I used the PinkFresh December Days 6x6 paper pad for this fun card:

The sentiment was a square on one of the papers. I used a scalloped circle punch to make it round like in the sketch. I layered my banners and added some machine stitching.

Here is the sketch:

Chill'in the Lake

Hey friends!
I played along with Rochelle's sketch challenge and combined it with Stacey's challenge for March. I used the May 2018 HKC kit for this fun layout:

My friend took this fun Snapchat pic of us while camping last fall. I added a Fancy Pants flair:

I hand cut the circles and added them to the banner. I added a diecut and the pretty rose gold leaves:

I used 3 different fonts for my title including those yummy gold ones!
I added a few phrase stickers and the paint stroke stickers. I fussy cut the glasses from one of the papers:

I finished the layout off with a few black spatters.
I love how this layout came out! It's so fun!
Here's Rochelle's sketch:

and Stacey's inspiration photo:

I was inspired by the palm leaves and party theme.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I fussy cut the flowers and leaves from a paper pad from Michaels, I think that's where it came from:

I added some gold phrase word stickers and a card along with some more fussy cut flowers:

I added watercolor to my background along with black spatters:

Wedding Card

Hey there friends!
Today I am sharing a wedding card with you. I used Tutti Designs Mr. & Mrs. die along with Paper House Wedding Days for this beautiful wedding card:

I used a patterned paper for my base and then added a layer of cardstock and another patterned paper.  I stitched them together. I used silver cardstock to cut the sentiment and then used ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever to adhere it to my card. I added some ribbon and lace trim along with the fussy cut hearts:

Here are the items I used for this card:

My Sweet Girl

Hey there!
I am here to share a layout of Sierra and me that I have up on the Creative Embellishment blog today. Back in December, she posted this photo and a very nice comment about me on Instagram. Of coarse, I took a screenshot and just had to scrap about it! I used the March & April 2018 Hip Kit Club kits for this pretty page:

I did a lot of fussy cutting on this layout. I added the leafy branch that I cut from the Berry Clusters in 2 different spots on my layout. My first thought was to color them green, but when I added them in just like they were, I loved it because they "popped" off the page:

For my title, I used the words "Sweet Girl" from the Girl Word Set, leaving them natural as well. I added a few alpha stickers to finish off my title. I also added a few stickers and a fussy cut butterfly:

Here is the cluster at the top of my photo. This includes another sprig from the Berry Clusters:

Under my photo and to the upper right, I placed the Heart Scalloped Frame. I love how it pops my photo off the page! I added a fussy cut butterfly to the frame as well:

I love how this layout came out using the chipboard pieces in their natural state! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
