Christmas Cards

Yup, it's that time of the year, time for me to start on my Christmas cards.
I found a few challenge sites and decided to play along.
Over at Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge, the challenge was to use the word wonder or wonderful on your project. I used the word wonderful along with Carta Bella Merry & Bright on this Christmas card:

I added a few layers, some stitching and a few stickers and then popped the bigger one up with foam tape to add some dimension:

On this card I used Fancy Pants Oh Deer and I am entering this one at Christmas Card Challenges and Turtle Soup teal and brown challenge for their mini crop:

Once again I added a few layers, some stitching and foam tape:

Have you started your Christmas cards yet?

# Love

Hey there scrappy friends!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for Sketches In Thyme using the sketch that was posted today!
I used some of my My Mind's Eye stash for this fun page of Sierra and I on her graduation day:

I used my Cameo to cut a few cut files from Juliana Michaels. I love this cut file ( Hashtag Love)! If you are looking for some fun and free cut files, she has them!

I used watercolors to color the cut files and then stamped a few of them:

Here I added a chipboard piece over part of the cut file. I also added a few word stickers and stamping:

I added some tangled thread under a brad and also added some black mist spatters:

Here is the fun sketch:

Isn't it awesome? I had a blast playing with it!

Scrap Our Stash

Hello!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using a sketch challenge over at Scrap Our Stash.
I used Fancy Pants Happy Place for this layout of Sierra and I:

I was so excited to use this sketch, that I totally forgot about the items from the list until after I took my photos. So I added them and then retook the photos, lol!
Here's the sketch and list:

I snuck in:
Pebbles Masking tape sticker
Queen & Co brad and an
old, old rub-on from Cherry Arte

You can see the yellow masking tape sticker and brad here. I also added a frame, word stickers and flowers:

I used a cut file from the Silhouette store and cut it on my Cameo. I added a feather and the "Oh yes" circle from the ephemera pack:

I created my background with watercolor and mist spatters. I added more items from the ephemera pack and another word sticker:

My title was cut on white cardstock using my Cameo and a cut file from The Cut Shoppe. I used Gelatos to color it. I added more from the ephemera pack and a teal enamel dot from My Mind's Eye:

I love how this turned out!

Thanks for stopping by and stay scrappy my friends!

Dream Big!

Hello scrappy friends!
Today I am sharing a page I created combining few challenges. I used a Stuck?! sketch along with the book inspired challenge at Scrap Our Stash. I was inspired by the picture of the dad and kids and decided to use a photo of Sierra and her dad at her graduation a few weeks ago.
I used Dear Lizzy Happy Place for this layout:

I started by cutting a few cut files from The Cut Shoppe: Crop Circles, This and That and Funky Florals. I colored these cut files using watercolors and Gelatos for my pops of yellow. I created my background using the packaging technique and some watercolors.

The word "Dream" is from Heidi Swapp and I colored that with the watercolors as well. I added some October Afternoon mini alphas to complete my title.

I added patterned papers, washi tape and stitching. I fussy cut the bubbles and date frame from a few patterned papers.

I love cutting the cut files on white cardstock and adding paint. It gives the layout lots of dimension!

Here are a few more close ups:
I popped the diecut sun up on pop dots.

I added a few more pop dots under the bubbles and "It's a beautiful day to start" diecut.

Here is the sketch:

and the book cover:

I am so happy with how this layout turned out!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Altered Photo Frame

Hey there!
Just wanted to share an altered frame I have up over on the Paper House Blog today. I created this using ColorWays Flamingo Collection. This is one of my favorite ColorWays collection! I created this frame to give to my daughter before she heads off to college this fall.
When I saw that I had to create an off the page project this month, I was a bit nervous, as I don't do a lot of these. I had purchased a basic frame at Michaels about a year ago and decided this was the time to use it!
Here is what I came up with:
Paper House Frame
Believe Photo Frame Supplies:
Paper House Frame close up 1
I started by painting my frame using white acrylic paint. Then I cut my papers so that they looked matted. Then I added some stitching.
Paper House Frame close up 3
I created my clusters using items from my stash and some of the Paper House awesome Puffy Stickers! I popped the "She believed she could, so she did" Cardstock sticker on foam tape to give some dimension and to add in front of the flowers.
Paper House Frame close up 2
I just love this believe Puffy Sticker! This is actually what inspired the theme of my frame.
Paper House Frame close up 4
I love how this frame turned out and will trying a few more off the page projects soon!

We would love to have you join in with us!

You Make Me Happy

Hey there!
I am sharing  my final layout as a design team member at The Robin's Nest today. I have enjoyed my time creating with all their fun goodies!
This photo of Austin was taken during Homecoming in October and it is one of my favorites!

I used the backside of the Vanilla Fleur Glitter Cardstock for my background. I used a cut file along with the Men's Plaid/Compass Cardstock and cut on my Cameo. Then I stitched around the outside of the cut file:

I created a cluster in the bottom left hand corner using:

I created layers under my photo using:

I fussy cut the tag from the Lodge CutOuts Cardstock and added that into my layers as well. I added the Saffron Bee Diecuts using foam tape to give some dimension to my page:

Finally I added some mist spatters:

I would like to thank the Robin's Nest for letting me create with their fabulous products!

I used Amy Tangerine Rise & Shine along with a Elle's Studio tag for my May 2 pager:

Here is the left side:

The right side:

I used my Cameo and the Scribbles 3 cut file from Just Nick. I cut one of the scribbles 3 times in various sizes and stitched them in place. Then I added some watercolors:

The cassette is from the ephemera pack. I fussy cut the diamonds, numbers and circles:

The "We are family" is from Elle's Studio:

Here is one last close up of the fussy cut diamonds and circle:
