Hello!
I am up on the Sketches In Thyme blog today with this fun Christmas page:

I used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe along with the November Hip Kit Club kit. I backed the word "food" and the ampersand with papers from the kit. I added a few bows and die cuts:

I used embroidery floss and hand stitched the words "Family" and "festivities". I also outlined them in black to make them pop:

I love this cut file:

 I used watercolor to create my background.

I only added a few embellies since the cut file was busy enough.

CSI Cold Case

Hey there friends!
I am sharing a layout created for CSI's January cold case challenge, #308. This challenge is all about using your stash!
I used old Dear Lizzy (the orange paper is Webster's Pages) for this fun page along with watercolors and mists:

I used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe and cut it on my Cameo using white cardstock. I backed them with a rainbow of patterned papers and added an acrylic heart from Elle's Studios overlapping it. I also added a few puffy stickers from Dear Lizzie:

I tucked in some pom-pom ribbon below my photo and in the crock of the middle hear. I added a few Heidi Swapp word phrases and my journaling. To create my title, I used old alpha stickers:

I fussy cut the mason jar and the "good times" card. I added an acrylic hash tag from  Heidi Swapp:

Spring

Hello!
There's a mini crop going on at Creative Inspiration. I have a layout that I created for my challenge to share with you. My challenge is to create a spring project. I used PhotoPlay Bloom and a Freebie Friday cut file from The Cut Shoppe for this layout of Austin and one of our friends:

I used watercolors for my background. I fussy cut the flowers, mason jar and leaves from the papers. I popped the "Beautiful" sticker up on foam to add some dimension:

I backed the cut file with patterned papers and popped it up with foam. For my title, I used a sticker and added some machine stitching for texture. I added the date with a stamp:

I fussy cut a few birds and added them to my page:

I love how this page came out! It's so soft and pretty!

Hey there scrappy friends!
I have a layout up over on the ScraPerfect blog today.
I used the Best Glue Ever along with the No Clog Writing Cap attached, a cut file from The Cut Shoppe and an old Crate Paper collection for this layout of  Sierra and her boyfriend at Vegan Fest in Madison:

I used watercolors to create my background and then added black mist spatters.

I love the combination of this glue with the cap, it is perfect for adding glue to small spaces like this cut file:

I backed the cut file with patterned papers. I added some layers of papers under my photo and popped it up with foam. I added some chipboard, stickers and a flair from the collection:

Because of the mixed media work on my background, I added the Best Glue Ever to adhere all the chipboard pieces:

Friday Night Lights

Hey there!
I am sharing a layout I created using a  free cut file from The Cut Shoppe- A Piece of the Pie. They are celebrating NSD with free cut files and a fun crop!
I used a photo of Austin from a few years ago after his football game.
To create my background, I used watercolors and a stamp from Creative Embellishments:

I cut the cut file out on black cardstock and backed it using Paper House papers. I added some machine stitching. I layered a few Paper House papers under the photo as well:

I added a Creative Embellishment chipboard frame and a few Paper House 3D embellies:

Mama Llama

Hey there!
I am sharing a layout I created for case file #251 at CSI.
I used the January Hip Kit Club Kit along with the Rosey Posey cut file from The Cut Shoppe for this layout about me:

I added watercolor to my background. Then fussy cut the frame and cut it in half. I added a few layers of patterned paper under my photo and placed the frame under that. I used the fun Thickers to create my title. I fussy cut the tag from one of the papers and added some of the flower diecuts:

You can see the beautiful cut file here. I cut on white cardstock and then used watercolors and Gelatos to add some color to it. The lighter llama was fussy cut from one of the papers and the other one was fussy cut from a Paper Issues card:

I have been meaning to do this layout for some time and when I saw  the llama in the kit, I knew it was perfect for this story!

I was inspired by the llama and colors. I used a solid background, llama and flowers for evidence.

Bunny Trail

Hello and happy Friday!
I am sharing a layout I created for the April moodboard at The Rubber Buggy and the spring challenge at Paper Issues.
I used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe along with some JilliBean Soup and Echo Park stash:

I added watercolor to my background and backed the cut file with papers from JilliBean Soup. The yellow one is from Echo Park. I added some JilliBean Soup stickers and some stitching:

I fussy cut the bunny from one of the papers and popped it up with foam. I added some more stickers here:

I fussy cut the word "you" from one of the papers and added in a few more stickers:

Here is the mood board:

I was inspired by the springtime theme and colors.

Using Echo Park Stash

Hello and happy Friday!
Today I am sharing a layout using a few older guy lines from Echo Park along with a Cut Shoppe cut file. My background was created with mists for another layout, that I obviously didn't use. It was perfect for this page!

I added a mat to my photo and then added some stickers and tangled thread. 

I backed the cut file with some fun papers and added the arrow sticker popped up with foam tape to add some dimension.

I fussy cut this cut star from one of the papers, popped it up with foam tape and added some tangled thread.

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
I found a few hours of scrappy time earlier this week and created this layout using a Cut Shoppe cut file, Simple Stories and the March tic-tac-toe board at Scrap Our Stash.
I used: washi tape, gold and mini alphas:

I backed the cut file with papers from the 6x6 pad and stitched in place over my watercolor background.

I used Mambi black and gold chipboard.

I popped some of the flower diecuts up with foam tape to add some dimension. I also added the word "epic" using October Afternoon mini alphas.

I fussy cut the "today" circle, the black and white chevron frame and the "Life is amazing, beautiful, so very good" out of patterned papers.

Finally, I added a banner and doily on the top.

Adventure

Hello and happy Monday!
Today I am sharing a layout I created over the weekend. I used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe along with the big title challenge at Paper Issues and came up with this fun page of Sierra and a few friends having fun last summer:

I added some watercolors to my background using the packaging technique along with some spatters. I cut the file on my Cameo and colored that with watercolor as well. Then I stitched in place. 

I added a patterned paper behind my photo along with some washi tape, a diecut flower and a fussy cut frame:

I trimmed the 3x4 journal card down and punched the border. I added some stickers, a flower diecut and the fussy cut "summer lovin'

Here is the other photo. I added a sticker to it. I also added a fussy cut watermelon and life float.

Hey there!

I had some scrappy time on Sunday and decided to play with the January challenge over at 123 Challenge Blog. I added in a few cut files from The Cut Shoppe- Scribble Scrabble and Words To Live By.  I used The Best Glue Ever with the No Clog Writing Cap attached to glue down those cut files. 

I also used Simple Stories So Rad. 

I decided to go big with the title and back it with papers from the 6x6 paper pad. I added some watercolor to my background using the packaging technique:

Here's a closer look at the title and to the left, a cluster of embellies cut from the 6x6 paper pad along with one of the stars from the cut file. I also added a fussy cut arrow along with a fussy cut star and another star from the cut file.

Here you can see one of the Scribble Scrabble cut files. I added some stitching to it. I also added that cute baseball sticker popped up with foam tape:

Finally, I added some phrase and alpha stickers:
