Hey Scrappy Friends!

Have you seen the March case files at CSI yet? I am sharing my take on case file #382 using lots of bits and pieces from my stash:

I was inspired by the colors and kites in the case file. I took patterned paper scraps from Authentique, Pink Paislee and Fancy Pants and created my own kites. I added machine stitching to them, left thread tails and added an Amy Tan bow to a few. I used a title from Crate Paper Oasis:

I hand cut my sun, added some machine stitching and added the sun diecut from Dear Lizzie Star Gazer. I also added the Super SaturYay diecut and word phrase stickers from Dear Lizzie. I fussy cut the pinwheels from an Echo Park paper and added a piece of bling to each one:

I fussy cut the bikes from a Dear Lizzie paper, I think. I added some bling and some fussy cut clouds that I hand stitched:

This was such a fun layout to create and I love how it came out!

Collect Moments

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout created for CSI  case file #322. I was inspired by the colors and fruit in this file. I used Dear Lizzy Star Gazer & Happy Place, Pink Paislee Citrus Bliss and Fancy Pants Joy Parade for this fun summer page:

I used lots of stuff from my stash. That wood apple is pretty old, I can't remember where it came from, lol. I added lots of layers and some enamel shapes:

I hand stitched the grid using embroidery floss. I fussy cut the flower, circle and leaves. I added in a PaperHouse 3D pineapple sticker:

Another old wood veneer here along with lots of layers, fussy cutting, enamel shapes and check out that fringe, I love it!

More fruit, layers and even some stitching:

Camping Issues

Hey all!
I have a fun camping layout to share that I created for CSI case file #318.
I used a few different AC lines for this page. The yellow striped paper is from Dear Lizzy Serendipity. I tucked in a few pieces of orange from Amy Tan:

The black striped paper under the photo is from Shimelle. The black and white lined one is from Amy Tan. I added a few clear Amy Tan stickers around my photo. I fussy cut the larger fox from a Paper Issues card:

The "OH!" and "Have Issues" was fussy cut from the same PI card. I used foam Thickers for "we" and "issues". I finished the rest of the title with alphas from Hip Kit Club. I fussy cut the frames from an Amy Tan paper I believe. I added a fussy cut camera and flowers. The small fox were fussy cut from AC Give Thanks:

I added an Amy Tan chipboard heart, clear "indeed", triangles and arrow stickers. I added a few orange star puffy stickers:

CSI Cold Case

Hey there friends!
I am sharing a layout created for CSI's January cold case challenge, #308. This challenge is all about using your stash!
I used old Dear Lizzy (the orange paper is Webster's Pages) for this fun page along with watercolors and mists:

I used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe and cut it on my Cameo using white cardstock. I backed them with a rainbow of patterned papers and added an acrylic heart from Elle's Studios overlapping it. I also added a few puffy stickers from Dear Lizzie:

I tucked in some pom-pom ribbon below my photo and in the crock of the middle hear. I added a few Heidi Swapp word phrases and my journaling. To create my title, I used old alpha stickers:

I fussy cut the mason jar and the "good times" card. I added an acrylic hash tag from  Heidi Swapp:

Dinner With A View- CSI

Hey everyone!
Today I am sharing a layout created for CSI. I used Dear Lizzy Serendipity and Pink Paislee Memorandum for this layout of us in Austria. We sat outside and had this gorgeous view of the Alps!

I added diagonally torn stripsof paper. The pinks are from Dear Lizzy and the purple one ids from Pink Paislee. I used a frame from Pink Paislee and placed a photo of my dinner behind it. I fussy cut some labels from one of the 6x6 Pink Paislee papers and added them to the right along with some machine stitching:

I added another frame here and placed an acetate behind it. I fussy cut the word "love" and the flowers from some of the Dear Lizzy papers. I added a few Heidi Swapp word sticker phrases and fussy cut the tiny cameras from one of the Pink Paislee papers:

I used old Thickers along with the small block Heidi Swapp alphas for my title:

I used a larger frame for the main photo and added some washi tape, patterned paper and stitching to it. I added a few stickers and the cherry diecut from Dear Lizzie:

Hey there friends!
I have a tutorial up on the ScraPerfect blog today on how to add foil to your layout. I used Dear Lizzy Serendipity for this graduation page.
Here is the layout I created:

I used a negative cut file that was laying on my desk and backed it with patterned paper and then stitched around it. I wanted to add some gold foil to the sun rays so I added a thin line of ScraPerfect Glue with the No Clog Writing Cap attached:

Once the glue was clear, it's white when you apply it, it is tacky and can place the Transfer Foil on top. Foil side up. Using my finger, I rubbed the foil where the glue was:

This is the result:

Gorgeous! I love the touch of sparkle the foil adds!

 I added craft foam behind my photo to give my layout some dimension. The Best Glue Ever works perfect for adhering the foam to my layout:

She Has Fire....

Hey there!
It's my day up on the Creative Embellishment blog today.
I am sharing a layout of Sierra and used a photo of her in Germany. I used Dear Lizzie Lovely Day and the Best Glue Ever for this layout:




 I created my background using mists and the packaging technique. I used the She Has Fire.. chipboard piece as my title and  colored it with mists and Gelatos. I added a few layers of patterned paper behind my photo and popped it up with craft foam:

 
I used a 5"d Globe and sprayed it with a black mist and layered it under my photo part way. I added a few embellishments to the lower right corner of my photo:

 

To finish off my page, I added some fussy cut flowers and the acetate balloon cluster:

 

 I love how the chipboard draws the eyes to the photo and I love how this page came out! Thanks for stopping by and hope you will play along with the CE monthly challenge!

I have a layout up on the Sketches In Thyme blog today and wanted to share it here as well along with some close ups:

I used mist for my background and added it using the packaging technique along with some spattering. I used stash again, mostly  Pink Paislee Cest La Vie along with "Happy" and the hearts from Dear Lizzy.

I fussy cut the chevrons from one of the papers and then added them to my background with some machine stitching.

Vacation Layout

Hey there!
I had Monday and yesterday off of work due to an ice storm, so I spent a lot of my time in my scrap room.
I played along with a lift challenge at Paper Issues, a mini crop challenge at Creative Inspiration and combined them with the February 15th case file at CSI.
I used mostly Dear Lizzy Lovely Day for this vacation page of Sierra:

I fussy cut the roses from one of the papers and added a few diecuts from the collection. I added a wood veneer heart colored with Gelatos:

I created my background using watercolors and machine stitching. I used Thickers from my stash for the title:

I was inspired by the colors and added floral pattern, hearts, bird, leaves & flowers for my evidence.

Hello!
I am back to share a layout with you that I have up over at Off The Rails today. I used Dear Lizzy Little Things for this layout of Sierra and I:

I added some texture paste through a stencil and then added watercolor on top. Finally I hand stitched sun rays coming out from behind the photo:

I added some tangled thread behind these cute diecut clouds:

I added a few diecuts and stickers here along with some stamping:
