Vegan Fest

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I have up on Off The Rails Facebook page.

The challenge this month is to add stitching or create a summer page, I combined them!

To create my title, I used an old alphabet stencil I have had for years. I traced the letters, poked holes with a tack and used embroidery floss to stitch it:

I used PinkFresh Up In The Clouds and Live More for this page. Icut strips of paper and machine stitched them on the left side of my layout. I added a few layers of paper under my photo. I added a few diecuts and puffy stickers:

I added more diecuts and puffy stickers here along with some more machine stitching:

I love the colors on this page!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Chill

Hey there friends!
Today I am sharing a layout created for ScraPerfect. I used Simple Stories Hello Summer along with ScraPerfect goodies for this fun summer page:

Here is how I made those fun foiled waves:
I gathered my supplies: Best Glue Ever. Transfer Foil and  punched waves:

Add a thin layer of the Best Glue Ever  and used a paint brush to spread it all over the border waves:

Let dry until it turns clear. Then place the Transfer Foil sheet on top of them with the foil facing up:

Rub your fingers over the waves. Peel the foil off. This is the result:

Finally, use the Perfect Crafting Pouch and run it over the front and back of your waves to remove and of the glue residue. I love how these waves came out and they add so much to this layout!

I used the Best Glue Ever with the No Clog Writing Cap attached to back this fun Silhouette cut file:

I added a fussy cut sun, some diecuts, chipboard and stickers from the collection:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Madrid Magic

Hello!
I have a travel layout to share with you today. This layout was created for Creative Embellishments.
Sierra studied abroad this semester in Germany. She has been quite the European traveler. She took this photo while spending a few days in Madrid:

I used the Chunky Alphabet Set for my title. I added a few coats of Gesso and then painted it with a couple of blue mists that I mixed together. I added the diecut word "magic" to finish it off:
I added a coat of Gesso to the Scandinavian Mountains. Using a palette knife, I added some glass beads to the top of the mountains to mimic snow. Once it was dry, I added the same mixture of blue mists that I used for "Madrid". I overlapped the mountains on the sides of the picture with the one on top. I added foam behind the ones on the side. The papers and other embellishments are from Paper House:

I added a few embellishments, tucking the "Explore" one in the mountain:

I just love all the texture these mountains have! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your day with me!

Demo Day!

Hey there friends!
Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there!
About 10 years ago, we removed the porch off the front of our house and replace it with steps. This photo is Austin doing some demo work. Yup, it took me that long to scrap it! LOL! I used Echo park Jack and Jill:

I added a frame to the outside of my layout. Then I machine stitched around the edge. I distressed the edge using my fingers. I fussy cut this banner from one of the papers:

I used alphas from the collection as well as word phrase stickers for my title:

I created this banner using stickers from the collection:

Here's the sketch:

I am so glad I finally got this photo scrapped and I love how it came out!

Summer

Hey friends!
Summer is finally here in Wisconsin!
I am sharing my layout today for case file #286 at CSI.
I used Simple Stories Hello Summer for this fun camping page:

I added a torn strip of patterned paper to the top and bottom of my layout and machine stitched through them. I added watercolor to my background. I added a few stickers and a chipboard cacti:

The cut file is from Paige Evans and I backed it with patterned paper using ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever with the No Clog Writing Cap attached. I added that cute chipboard flamingo, isn't it adorable?!

Here's the case file:

I was inspired by the colors and summer theme. For evidence, I used: stripes, flowers, flamingo, sun and sunglasses. For my testimony I documented something about a summer camping trip.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Thinking of You Card

Hey there friends!
I am back today to share a thinking of you card that I created for ScraPerfect. I used Fancy pants Life Is Beautiful and some stamps I picked up at JoAnns, I believe.
Here is my card:

To get a nice crisp image, just rub the Perfect Crafting Pouch on your cardstock before stamping:

After stamping my images and sentiment, I added watercolor to them.

Once they were dry, I fussy cut them out and used the Best Glue Ever to attach all layers of my card:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
