A Christmas Page

Hello!
I am enjoying my last day of spring break today! I have scrapped 3 layouts today! It's been forever since I completed 3 layouts in a day.
I created this Christmas page using the sketch challenge at Scrap Our Stash along with Carta Bella Christmas Day and the plaid piece of paper is from PhotoPlay Mad Plaid Christmas:

I added watercolor spatters to my background. Added layers of paper under my photo. I added a wood veneer that has been in my stash forever. I added a few stickers from the Carta Bella collection:

I fussy cut the tree from one of the papers. I added a chipboard frame under my photo. I think its from and old Crate Paper collection:

Here is the sketch and challenge:

It feels good to use up this stash!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

Travel

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using a sketch from Rochelle Spears, a tic tac toe challenge from Scrap with Stacy and Simple Stories You Are Here collection. I used some photos of Sierra's trip to Spain and Portugal for this travel page:

I fussy cut the word "travel" and popped it up on foam. I used the plane and "discover" from the clear stickers:

I added the die cut globe and a few stickers along with a chipboard frame:

I added a few diecuts, epoxy hearts, a tag with journaling and some stitching:

Here's the sketch:

and Stacy's Tic Tac Toe:

Since I was using wallet sized photos, I shrunk the sketch down a bit. For the tic tac toe board, I used: Epoxy, Banner and Tag

I Am...

Hey there!
I am loving being on spring break this week! It means I get to play along with some of my favorite scrappy challenges!
I did this page yesterday and played along with the first March challenge at Scrap Our Stash. I used a photo of Sierra along with Simple Stories I Am collection (the first 1):

I did lots of fussy cutting on this page- the hearts, flowers, "loving life", ampersand and sequins:

More fussy cutting here- labels, flowers, "I am" and hearts. I created a list on my page with the numbers, labels and other words:

I fussy cut the bike, added a few stickers and some stitching:

Here is the challenge:

I used the colors along with these items:
L- list, labels
I- ink- I used distress oxide inks, watered them down and then used the packaging technique on my background.
S- stitching, stickers and Simple Stories
A- adhesives

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Thank You

Hello friends!
Although school is closed due to COVID 19, we are serving sack lunches and breakfasts in a drive thru setting at school. Local cranberry companies donated Craisins and a variety of juice for us to use in these. I created this thank you card to send to them:

I used a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap along with Pebbles Family Ties collection for this card.
Here is the sketch:

Thanks for haring your time with me!

Thinking Of You

Hey friends!
I am on spring break this week and with all that is going on in the world with COVID 19, scrapping takes my mind off of it. It's my little get away from it.
I played along with a card sketch at Sketch-N-Scrap and came up with this card:

I used Pebbles Family Ties for this card.
Here's the sketch:

Hope you are staying safe and have a great day!

Going Down

Hey there!
I had some free time over the weekend and played along the March challenge at PinkFresh. I used My Favorite Story & Noteworthy for this layout of Greg and Sierra in marburg, Germany:

I wanted the triangles to look like the steps in the photo, but after I cut them, it looked like a big beach ball, LOL! I added some machine stitching and a few embellies:

I added one of the cute bows to my photo. Added a few die cuts and some enamel dots. I tucked in a few frames to the right of the photo:

Here's the challenge:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Charming & Sharp

Hello!
That's 2 words to describe my son all dressed up a few years ago for Homecoming!
The Creative Embellishments DT teamed up with Renea this month to create some fun projects. This is my last one, but I can honestly say, I will be using the foiled paper from Renea again, I love it!
Here's my grungy layout:

I used black cardstock and added lots of distressing using sand paper. I used the words "charming" and "sharp" from the Small Handsome Border Words. I heat embossed them in black, let dry and then added watermelon alcohol ink and heat set again:

I added lots of layers of patterned papers from Blue Fern Studios under my photo. Between the layers of papers, I added a Grunge Circle Frame. I also heat embossed this frame with black embossing powder. I used the Frantic Stampers Inc. Lace Geometric Flower Doily die cut and cut the red foil from Rinea Autumn Foiled Paper Variety Pack. I used a punch and punched some hearts from the red foil as well. These are so pretty!

I added some flowers, pins and enamel dots from my stash:

It's not very often that I put flowers on my sons layouts, but I love how they look and will most likely be doing it more often! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your day with us!

I backed the cut file with patterned papers from OA using ScraPerfect's Best Glue ever.

I added a number border, label sticker, buttons, ampersand sticker all from OA. I also added white Thickers from my stash and a few butterflies:

I fussy cut the boy and flag from one of the OA cards. I added some OA and Tim Holtz stickers, button and a fussy cut card from packaging:

Hope you will check out the case file and play along. Debbi always has some fun prizes!
Hope to see you soon!

Let's Go!

Hey there Friends!
I am back to share a fun layout with you created for Creative Embellishments. We are collaborating with Rinea this month.

Every fall, we camp with friends at a county park near us and bike around the lake a few times. It's fun, plus it keeps us moving.

I used a few Simple Stories summer collections along with Rinea's gorgeous foiled papers and 2 die cuts to create the flowers/leaves:

I used the red foiled paper from the Autumn Foiled Paper Variety Pack, and the green and brown from the Woodland Foiled Paper variety Pack for the flowers. I added mists and water color to my white background. I also used watercolor and a stencil for the sun:

I created a bike trail at the bottom of my page with patterned paper, added some leave sprigs, cut from Rinea foiled paper . Finally, I added the Women's Bike sprayed with mist:

This was such a fun layout to create! I just love that bike and it was perfect for this fall page! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Excursion

Hey there friends!
Today is reveal day for the March challenge at Creative Embellishments. This month we are doing a collaboration with Rinea using their gorgeous foiled papers!

I used a photo of Sierra in Germany for this page. I used a cut file from Hip Kit Club and backed it with the beautiful foiled papers:

I used the greens from the Woodlands Foiled Paper Variety Pack, the blues from the Frosted Foiled Paper Variety Pack and the orange and pink from the Floral Foiled Variety Paper Pack to back the cut file. For my title, I used the word "Excursion" from the Travel Word Set 2

I added the Imagine Quote for my sub-title. I colored this piece and the Excursion piece with brown embossing powder. I heat set and let cool. Then added a glitter embossing powder on top for the twist on the challenge.

I added a few roses from Rose Set 1, colored with mist around the photo. I added some tangled thread under them:

I finished my layout off with watercolor, stitching, Tim Holtz word stickers and some enamel dots:

I love all the shine this page has in person. It is so hard to capture that in a picture.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to check out the mood board, twist and play along with us!
