Fun In The Sun

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using the April sketch at My Creative Sketches and the tic tac toe challenge at Scrap Our Stash.
I am still working on using items from my stash. For this page, I used Fancy Pants papers, Pink Paislee embellies and Petaloo flowers. I also added an old rub-on (Fun In The Sun) and some Teresa Collins word phrase stickers.

I added some layers of papers, a frame and a border along with some stitching. I love those Petaloo flowers!

Th gold foam anchor is from an older Pink Paislee line. I thought it would be perfect for this beach page:

I had a heck of a time with the rub-on, I really had to use some elbow grease to get it to rub off! It's an old Scenic Route rub-on. Remember that company? Yeah, it's really old! But I am happy with the results!

Here is the fun sketch:

and the tic-tac-toe board:

I used the middle row: Stitching, flowers and ephemera.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Celebrate

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
Happy New Year! Are you going out?
We decided to stay in and I am cooking steak and shrimp, yum!
I had some scrappy time this morning and played with the December My Creative Scrapbook sketch.
I used Simple Stories for this layout of my Mom's 80th birthday celebration:

I used watercolors and the packaging technique for my background.
I added a few frames, stickers, a cut file  and fussy cut a banner and the stars:

I love this cut pole banner die cut and just had to use it! I added layers of papers and a few other die cuts here as well:

The balloons and stars were fussy cut. I added some white circles and stars that were leftover from another cut file I previously had cut. Here I added a punched border too:

Here is the fun sketch:

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a safe, fun and healthy New Year!
