It's A Ruff Life

Hello scrappy friends!
I am sharing a layout I created for a sketch challenge at The Rubber Buggy and a challenge at ARTastic Challenge Blog.
I used a few photos of Bender, who we lost a little over a year ago. I used papers from my stash and used a Paper Issues cut file:

I added some stitching to the cut file. I popped the title up with foam to add dimension:

I fussy cut the circles and added 3 of them to my page. I baked the heart paw prints with brown cardstock and popped them up with foam:

Here is the sketch:

Spring

Hello! Happy hump day!
I love being on spring break! This means more scrappy time!
I scrapped a spring family photo from a few years ago. I played along with the tic tac toe challenge at Challenge Yourself . I used PhotoPlay Bloom for this layout along with a cut file from Paper Issues:

I cut the file on white cardstock and backed it with a plaid paper in the collection. I added the hand stitching and watercolor to the background:

I did lots and lots of fussy cutting- most of the flowers and the birds. I added a mason jar/ flower sticker. Under the photo, I added a piece of my favorite washi tape and buttons:

I fussy cut the title and those adorable little bees:

I used the middle row: Buttons, You photo and  washi tape:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Happy Birthday Card

Hello!
I have a fun birthday card up on the ScraPerfect blog that I created using the Best Glue Ever along with the No Clog Writing Cap. These two are my most favorite from ScraPerfect! Love them! I used Maggie Holmes Bloom for this card:

When creating a card, I usually add at least a few layers. These layers are held together by none other than, the Best Glue Ever.

Here's my card:

I would love if you checked out my tutorial over on the ScraPerfect Blog and left a comment!

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

A Few More Winter Cards

Hello!
We are on spring break this week and I am playing some in my scraproom!
I created a few more winter cards using stuff from my stash. It feels good to use this stuff especially since these papers have been here forever! The cut file has been sitting on my desk, so I am not sure where it is from.
For this card, I used a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap:

Home Sweet Home

Hey there!
It's my turn to share a layout at Sketches in Thyme using the newest sketch.
I used Simple Stories Homespun and We Are Family. I started out using strips of different patterned papers from these 2 collections, but I just couldn't make it work. So I decided to add a border strip around the 3 edges to mimic paper strips:

I added a diecut and wood veneer:

For my title, I fussy cut the "Home Sweet" from one of the papers and finished it off with the chipboard word "Home". I added a banner sticker and finished the ends off with wood veneer flowers:

Here's the sketch:

Hope you find time to play along this month!

Oh Hello There

Hey there!
I am back to share a layout I created using the March 15th sketch at Stuck?! Sketches.
I used a paper pad I received as a gift, I think it came from Michaels.

I fussy cut the flowers, leaves and title:

I added some punching and some more fussy cutting:

To create my background I used a stencil from Finnabair and took a Brilliance ink pad and smudged over it. Then I took another ink pad and smooshed it on plastic, added some water and smooshed it on my background. Finally I added some Heidi Swapp mist spatters in raspberry.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Follow Your Dreams

Hello!
It's the second Monday of the month already! That means a new challenge is up at Cards In Envy. The challenge is: Make a card without ANY patterned paper.
I used my distress oxide inks and some cut files that have been laying on my desk for this card:

After applying the inks on my cardstock, I sprayed a background stamp with water and placed it on my background. I let it sit for a few minutes and then removed it. I love the results!

Check out what the rest of the DT did with this challenge and play along with us!

It's All Good

Hey there!
Hope you are having a fabulous weekend! It's in the lower 50's here!!! I just finished washing my car and cleaning the inside out. That hasn't been done since last fall. It looks so nice!
I played along with a few challenges this morning to create this layout of our vacation last summer to Door County:

I used Simple Stories Good Day Sunshine. I fussy cut the title from paper,  added some stitching and then finished it off with some alpha stickers from the collection. I added some sticker phrases and stamped the date:

I used graph paper to hand cut a tag. I did a little fussy cutting and popped a sticker up with foam. I added some washi tape and stitching:

I fussy cut the clouds and sun. I added some Gelatos to the background by putting it on a piece of plastic, added water and smooshed it on the cardstock:

I used a sketch from Rochelle Spears:

I used fact #3 from Grand Diva's This Month in History Challenge:

and used the March 15th case file #250 at CSI:
I used the colors and sun, clouds, paint and stamping.

2018

Hey there scrappy friends!
Creative Inspiration hasa mini crop starting today. I created this page for my challenge over there.
I was snapping with Sierra on New Years Eve and screenshotted this pic of me before I sent it to her.
I used Amy Tan On A Whim for this fun page:

I used a Paper Issues cut file and cut it out on white cardstock. Then I added some watercolor. I outlined the numbers using a blue marker. The word "sweet" is from Heidi Swapp:

I fussy cut the flowers from a journaling spot and added a Heidi Swapp butterfly and a heart diecut:

Hope you will play along with us!

Carpe Diem

Hello and happy mid month!
Off The Rails has their mid month reveal of the March moodboard today. Thought I would share my page here as well.
I added a few strips of paper to the left side of my page. I added a bit of pink watercolor to the background and then added some black watercolor spatters:

I used Paper House ColorWays. I fussy cut the flowers from one of the papers. I added the "Carpe Diem" rub-on to black cardstock and then fussy cut into banners. I love that pink banner from the sticker sheet and had to add it to my layout. I popped it up with some foam:

This piece was also a rub-on that I added to black cardstock and fussy cut. I added some tangled thread and a few puffy stickers:

I added a few layers of patterned papers under my photo. To the right of the photo and the bottom right corner, I added some black & white Recollections torn washi tape:

Can you guess what the challenge is?
Yup, use black, white and one other color. Here's the mood board:

Hello Family!

Hello!
It's my day up on the ScraPerfect Blog. Today I am sharing a layout using The Best Glue Ever and the No Clog Writing Cap. This is my favorite go to glue and the fine tip makes it so easy to apply glue to small spaces!
I used Fancy Pants Family & Co for most of this layout of Greg, Sierra and myself:

The "Hello" chipboard piece is from Bella Blvd. I was planning on coloring it, but decided not to once I had all the other elements in place. I added a small half circle journaling block and a few puffy stickers:

I added a few of the tags from the collection and tied bows using the string that came with them. I added a label to put my date on, but forgot to add it, LOL!

Here I added another tag, diecuts and puffy stickers. I used a few mists to create my background. The yellow is from Recollections and the red is Fireworks.

I used the March 5th sketch from Creative Inspiration. We had our reveal a week or so ago.

I don't make many 2 page layouts any more so I combined the sketch into a single page.
I would love if you would check out the little tutorial I have up on this layout on the ScraPerfect blog!
Thanks for stopping by and stay scrappy!

Back To Nature

Hey there!
About this time every year, I get cabin fever and can't wait to go camping. So I decided to create a camping layout to chase those winter blues away.
I used a sketch from Scrap The Boys along with the March 1st case file at CSI and came up with this fun camping layout of Greg:

I used Simple Stories Take A Hike. The star cut file is from the Silhouette store. I cut it on white textured cardstock and backed it with the wood grain circle paper. I added machine stitching around the edge of the star. I added some stickers, popping some up with foam:

I hand cut a tag from one of the papers and added a fiber bow. I also added more stickers:

I fussy cut my title "Back To Nature" from one of the papers. I also added a machine stitched circle using green thread:

Here is the sketch and case file:
