Sweat Treat

 Hey there Scrappy friends!

Have you seen the July case files for CSI? If not go to their Facebook page and check them out- they are fabulous!

I used my stash to create this fun summer page:

I added watercolor to my backgound. Then hand cut some triangles in different papers:
Carta Bella- yellow
Jen Hatfield- blue
Maggie Holmes- pink and pink & blue
I added a chipboard bow from Maggie Holmes and fussy cut some pinwheels from an Echo Park paper:

I fussy cut the banner and ice cream cone from an Echo Park paper. The chipboard ice cream cone is from Maggie Holmes. The "chill out" sticker is Echo Park:

Check out that cute ice cream stand bike, I love it! It's from Echo Park as well. For my title, the "sweet" chipbaord piece is from Maggie Holmes and the 'treat' alphas are from PinkFresh:

Here's a closer look at the bottom triangles:

I hope you find some time to play along with us.
Enjoy the rest of your day!

Super Fun Day

 Hey there scrappy friends!

Today I am sharing my second layout for Bramble Fox. Here is my take on the April challenge using some goodies from Bramble Fox along with Carta Bella Summer collection for this page of my family and I:

I added mist spatters to my white cardstock background. Then I fussy cut clusters of flowers and created a wreath with them. Do you enjoy fussy cutting? Fussy cutting is so relaxing to me, I could cut for hours. I added a few layers of patterned papers under my photo. I used the "super" perspextive as part of my title. I love how it pops against the photo and flowers. I used gold Hip Kit Club alphas and some older My Mind's Eyes green alphas from my stash to finish off the title:

I fussy cut the "Good vibes" tab from the Paper Snips #001 and added it behind my photo. I also tucked it a few of these gorgeous pink hearts from the Valentines Hearts set:

I threaded some twine through 3 of the tags in the Tiny Tags set and draped those accross the top left of my wreath. I finished my wreath off with a gold bow from Maggie Holmes:

Here is the April challenge:

I hope you will play along with us this month!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Then I layered bits and pieces, some from the Carousel collection and some from my stash. I added some wood buttons from Hip Kit and twine from Divine:

I fussy cut my title from one of the papers and placed it on the top of my photo in the white space. I added a white frame with gold, fussy cut flowers and the pink paint stripe was fussy cut from Echo Park Dreams paper:

I added a tag to both sides of my photo and used Divine Twine to add bows. I added some diecuts and an enamel heart:

Yay!

Hello!
Today I am sharing my last layout for CSI this month. I used case file #323, which is a cold case file, use up some stash for this one. I used mostly Maggie Holmes Carousel with a little Echo Park for this page of some friends:

I have been hoarding that ice cream cart and decided to use it. I added a fussy cut flower, a tag, and some stickers:

The case file photo reminded me of that frame, so I tucked it in behind the photo and embellies. I fussy cut the tent, ferris wheel and that circle light banner. I added some gorgeous pink puffy stickers:

Another fussy cut flower and that gorgeous gold trimmed paper along with a pink flower puffy sticker finished off the top left of my photo:

I fussy cut the "YAY" and added the puffy sticker on top. More of the fussy cut circle light banner on top of the page:

Here's the case file:

This was a super fun layout to create plus I used some stash!

Families Are Forever: Creative Embellishments

Hey there friends!
I am back to share a layout with you using some fun Creative Embellishment chipboard pieces. These photos of my family and I were taken while on vacation in Germany in June:

I fussy cut a bunch of flowers from a Maggie Holmes Carousel paper and colored them with watercolors. I tucked in Fall Leaves wood veneer, colored with Nuvo Glitter Markers, in the clusters of flowers:

I decided to frame my photos with 2 of the Heart Doodle Frames, colored with a Nuvo Glitter Marker. I added a puffy sticker bow to one of the frames and tucked in a few puffy hearts as well:

For my title, I used the Families Are Forever chipboard piece. I used 2 different colors of the Nuvo Glitter Markers on this:

I tucked in another Fall Leaves wood veneer at the bottom of the layout. This leaf reminded me of a heart, so I decided to use it that way:

This layout was so fun to create and I love how it turned out!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Be Fearless

Hello! Lisa back to share a fun and colorful layout with you using some Creative Embellishments amazing chipboard. I also used the March Hip Kit Club kit. I used papers from Maggie Holmes Sunny day.
To create my background, I added white Gesso to the middle of my white cardstock. Once it was dry. I sprayed it with water and then added some mists using plastic packaging to move it around. I added the fussy cut butterflies. Finally, I splattered it with a navy mist

I used a Gold Glitter Nuvo Marker to color the Do Things Quote. I placed the top part of it on the white space in my photo:

I fussy cut the pink flowers and leaves and added a Fern Foilage 3, also colored with the Nuvo marker, in the cluster on the upper right. I used a diecut for my subtitle:

I created another cluster using the same items on the lower left:

I love how this layout came out!
