Best Glue Ever To The Rescue!

Hello!
While scrapping a while back, I pulled out an older ink pad of mine and realized the pad was no longer stuck to the base any more.

I really wanted to use this ink pad, but with the pad off the base, the only way to use it was by picking it up with my fingers. Now I didn't really feel like getting ink all over my hands, so I grabbed my bottle of  The Best Glue Ever

I added some of the glue to the base:

and placed the ink pad on top. I let it dry over night. It was as good as new!

To think I almost threw the ink pad away, so glad I decided to try The Best Glue Ever on it!

Very Chilly Wonderland

Hello and happy Friday!
I am sharing a layout that I created using the January 1st sketch at Stuck?!. I also am entering it in the Scrap Our Stash Golden Globe winter challenge.

I used the November 2016 and 2017 Hip Kit Club kits for this fun winter layout:

I used a snowflake cutfile from the Silhouette Store and duplicated it 5 times on my background white card stock. I backed them with patterned paper. I used some diecuts for my title along with a glitter banner. I fussy cut that cute polar bear:

I added some machine stitching in gold on the bottom border. Check out that cute penguin, isn't he adorable?

I added some diecut snowflakes, gold stars and enamel dots:

Here is the sketch:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!

Hello!
As promised, I am back to share another card I created using the Simple Stories The Story of Us paper pad.

College

Hello!
I am sharing a layout I created using the family challenge at Creative Inspiration and the Blend-A-Sketch challenge at Scrap Our Stash.
I combine the half circle from the sketch on the left along with the triangle in the upper left corner and the row of squares in the right sketch and came up with this layout:

I used a Paige Evans cut file from the Silhouette store and backed it with Dear Lizzy Star Gazers 6x6 paper pad papers. I used some gold Thickers and October Afternoon Mini Alphas for my title

I added a few diecuts from the collection and backed my photo with a few different papers:

I used a sticker backed with foam as my sub-title:

Here are the sketches:

Thanks for stopping and have a great day!

Sketches In Thyme

Hey there!
I am up on the Sketches In Thyme blog today sharing an Easter layout using the January 22nd sketch. I used JilliBean Soup Southern Chicken Dumpling Soup stash along with some Amy tan bows for this layout of Sierra:

I fussy cut my title "The Many Colors Of"' from one of the papers and added a few strips of the striped paper above and under my photo.

I added some watercolor under this group of embellies from the collection. The bunny was fussy cut from another spring paper in my stash, maybe Bella Blvd?

Here is a close up of the title.

Here is Sara's fun sketch.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Fun In The Sun!

Hello!
I am back to share another layout I created over the weekend using Case File No. 246 at CSI. I used Simple Stories I (Heart) Summer for this fun page of my trip to Vegas:

I fussy cut the words "Fun in the Sun" from one of the papers. I added some alpha stickers from the collection to finish the title off. I added a few phrase stickers here as well:

I did some fussy cutting on this part as well. I banner was a 4x6 card and I cut the bottom part off. I also fussy cut the mason jar and "Sunshine banner":

I fussy cut the clouds and the heart here too:

Yup, more fussy cutting:

I didn't have a lot of embellies from this collection. Fussy cutting is a great way to add to your page!

Here is the case file:

I was inspired by some of the colors. For evidence, I used solid white background, stripes, hearts and a border punch.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Pretties!

Hey there!
I had some scrappy time already this weekend and played along with Case File No. 245 at CSI and used the January 15th Stuck?! sketch. I combined those two challenges along with some October Afternoon stash- mostly Farmhouse and came up with this page:

I fussy cut the trees and church out of one of the papers:

I fussy cut the banner and peacock feathers from the papers as well:

I used foam Thickers for my title and used an ink pad to color them yellow. I added a few Tim Holtz phrase stickers and Heidi Swapp mist spatters to finish it off:

Here is the case file from CSI:

I was inspired by the colors and buildings. I used polka dots, banner, trees and a house for the evidence and I used a winter activity for the testimony.

Here is the sketch:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Year In Review- 2017

Hey there!
Do you create a year in review layout? If so, we would love to see them! My challenge for the January mini crop at Creative Inspiration is to create a year in review layout. I created 2 this year- one for each of my kids.
I used some Echo Park stash and a cut file from the Silhouette store for both of these:

Austin's:

I colored the "2017" with 3 different colors of ink and then added tangled thread under it:

I added some stickers, popping a few of them up with foam:

Sierra's:

This cut file was perfect for both of these pages! I backed it with a few different patterned papers and added some gold faux stitching around the year. I machine stitched using gold thread around the photos:

Thanks for stopping by and we would love to see your year in review pages!

My Boy!

Hello!
I am up on the ScraPerfect blog today sharing a tutorial on using foil.
I love to make my own embellishments and often do when scrapping a layout about my son. There just doesn't seem to be as many embellishments for boys as there are for girls. Using The Best Glue Ever and Transfer Foils from ScraPerfect I made the stars on this layout of Austin and I:

I used my Simple Stories So Rad stash for this page. I popped up the football sticker and arrow with foam tape. I added a heart sticker to the inside of the star:

Love this fun cut file! I added some machine stitching to it:

I used alphas from Simple Stories. The orange color was perfect for this photo:

Here's a close up of the stars:

Can you see the bits of orange foil on the stars? I used 2 different colors of foil. I love how they turned out! Check out my tutorial over at ScraPerfect.
Thanks for taking time to stop by and have a great day!
