Hey Gnomie

 Hey there friends!

I invested in some Caliart markers and have been enjoying coloring images.

March Workshop

 Hey everyone!

I am sharing a card I created using the March Workshop digital stamp at 88 and Clear. It's called Magic Dreams and has the cutest unicorns! I used watercolor pencils to color the images.

Here's my card:

I used Tangy Berry Sugar Stock as my card base. Then I added a layer of Tangy Gum and Sour Lime Sugar Stocks. Before I adhered the Sour Lime, I used the So Boxy die and ran it through my Cuttlebug to create a Polaroid frame. I popped up the unicorn in the tub and added a bow made from Powdered Sugar Twine. My sentiment is from the Magic Dreams Digital Stamp as well.

Bier Garten

 Hey there friends!

I am sharing a layout for Sketches In Thyme using photos from our Germany trip a few years ago. I used PhotoPlay Let's Go and Fancy Pants alphas:

I machine stitched the layers of patterned papers together to add some texture. I added some travel word phrases to the right of the photo.

I hand cut some pennants and created a banner and machine stitched it:

I added some fussy cut suitcases, a camera and the 23 cent piece:

I am amazed that I didn't use any watercolor on this page. With the sketch, I didn't need to...

Wishing You Well

 Hey there!

Today I am sharing a card created for 88 and Clear. I used the Spring Frames March Card Club Digital Stamp for this pretty card:

I used a white card base and added a layer of Rich Cherry and Rich Tangerine Sugar Stocks. I used white cardstock from my stash and smooshed the Rich Cherry Sugar Cube on some plastic packaging, added a bit of water and smooshed it on the white cardstock. Then I did the same with the Rich Tangerine Sugar Cube. This creates a watercolor look that I love! I used Sharpies to color the wreath from the Spring Frames digi stamp. Fussy cut it and added the "Wishing you well" sentiment from the same digi stamp. I did add a bit of watercolor around the edges. I popped the sentiment up and then added some Dazzling Pat spatters.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

You Are...

 Hey there!

I am sharing a layout that I created for case file #350 at CSI

I was inspired by the harlequins, guy, blue and dandelion. I used mostly My Mind's Eye Lost & Found 2 along with some Creative Embellishments chipboard & stamps and a few BoBunny stickers:

I used the Distressed Harlequin stamp and one of the Halftone Circle stamps from Creative Embellishments on my background and added some watercolor and paint spatters. I layered a few torn paper strips from MME and then added some machine stitching:

I placed the Berry Wreath from Creative Embellishments behind my photos and added a few layers of patterned papers. I used a butterfly stamp from my stash and stamped a few different ones then fussy cut them. The circle and flourish are stickers from an old BoBunny collection.

I added a few brads and fussy cut the you are... from one of the 6x6 papers. Finally I added a chipboard button with some Divine Twine:

I sometimes struggle with guy layouts but this one came together real fast and I love that I used lots of stash!
Hope you will check out the case file in the Facebook group and play along!

March Challenge at Creative Embellishments

 Happy March everyone!

This month's challenge at Creative Embellishments is a sketch challenge. I used some fun Creative Embellishments chipboard along with Simple Stories Happy Trails for this camping page:

I tore a piece of patterned paper and then added the plaid and green strip along with some machine stitching. I fussy cut a few flowers and added the compass diecut:

I added the Lace Border 6 under my photos and under the plaid paper. I added gold acrylic paint and once that was dry, I dry brushed some orange on it. I added that adorable racoon diecut:

I added the Fancy Rectangle Frame on top of the middle photo. I used the same painting technique:

Check out my fun banner, I used the Bauble Banner:

I colored it with the same paints as the other 2 chipboard pieces but on the larger "baubles" I used a circle punch and punched patterned papers:

Here is the sketch:

The challenge is to also add some stitching.
I love how this page came out especially that cute banner!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Swim for CSI

Hey there friends!

Today I am sharing my take on case file #348 at CSI. Every month they post 3 new case files to play along with and there are lots of prizes to win.

I used mostly stash for this fun, summer page:

I added shimmer watercolors to my white cardstock background. I fussy cut a wave from Echo Park Splash and stitched that on. I also fussy cut the fish and punched some scallops from this collection as well. I added some tangled thread, a flair from Accent Scrapbooking, a gold sticker and sub title from Pink Paislee. I also added some flip flops from Fancy Pants:

I added a journaling card from Fancy Pants Joy Parade and placed it to the left of my photos. I added a layer of blue tissue paper and craft foam behind my photos. I added a project life card behind the top photo.

I added  and some Creative Embellishments Twigs that I dry brushed with Gesso. I finished off my layout with some punched circles, brads and sequins from 29 Lilac Lane by Buttons Galore & More:

I had a blast creating this summer page!
