Apple Orchard

 Hey there Scrappy Friends!

Have you seen the case files for October at CSI? They are fabulous!

Here is my take on case file #396. I used lots of stash for this fun, fall day at the apple orchard in Gays Mills with friends:

I challenged myself to use all the evidence for this case file and actually did it! The red and green papers are from My Minds Eye. The ivory banner is from Simple Stories:

I added some chipboard apples and the word "harvest" from Creative Embellishments. I fussy cut the word "October" from a Simple Stories paper:

I added a wood veneer leaf from Lawn Fawn that I colored with inks. I added a burlap flower from Little Birdie, some fussy cut leaves from Simple Stories and some red rick rack from my stash:

Here I added the Bucket of Apples from Creative Embellishments. I used ink to color it. I added another wood veneer leaf from Lawn Fawn, a burlap flower from Little Birdie and a wood veneer flower from my stash. I fussy cut the whisk from an October Afternoon paper. I added a strip of corrugated paper from Fancy Pants and pie and word sticker from Simple Stories. I finished off my page with some red and tree sequins from Buttons Galore & More:

Here is a quick look at the case file:

I really enjoyed putting this layout together and I love that I used stash to do it!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Swim for CSI

Hey there friends!

Today I am sharing my take on case file #348 at CSI. Every month they post 3 new case files to play along with and there are lots of prizes to win.

I used mostly stash for this fun, summer page:

I added shimmer watercolors to my white cardstock background. I fussy cut a wave from Echo Park Splash and stitched that on. I also fussy cut the fish and punched some scallops from this collection as well. I added some tangled thread, a flair from Accent Scrapbooking, a gold sticker and sub title from Pink Paislee. I also added some flip flops from Fancy Pants:

I added a journaling card from Fancy Pants Joy Parade and placed it to the left of my photos. I added a layer of blue tissue paper and craft foam behind my photos. I added a project life card behind the top photo.

I added  and some Creative Embellishments Twigs that I dry brushed with Gesso. I finished off my layout with some punched circles, brads and sequins from 29 Lilac Lane by Buttons Galore & More:

I had a blast creating this summer page!
Hope you will play along with us this month.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Winter Banner

Hey there! I have a fun and cute winter banner that I created for Creative Embellishments to share with you today:

I used the Fishtail Pennant Banner and covered it with a layer of Modge Podge and patterned paper from the 6x8 paper pad of Snowflake collection by Crate Paper:

I added tags, stickers, diecuts and fussy cut snowflakes to the banner pieces:

I added a Chipboard Snowflake to each banner. I colored them with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist:

I added lots of ribbon from my stash. This is a great way to use them up:

I used the word "Snow" from the Blizzard Word Set and added that to my first pennant. I colored it with Shimmerz and RG Dazzling Pat. I added a few punched snowflakes and also added some pearls and bling from Buttons Galore & More Fall Foliage Sparkletz:

I love how this banner came out! Now when I take my Christmas one down, I have a winter one to add in it's place.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Hello Winter

 Hey there friends!

I was asked by May at Buttons Galore and More to be a guest designer for December. Of coarse, I said yes!

I used Crate Paper Snowflakes for this page:

I started this page by painting the Snow Globe Shaker from Creative Embellishments with Gesso and acrylic paint. I added a few die cut trees and a fussy cut snowman to the inside of the shaker along with BoBunny Glitter Paste for the snow at the bottom of the shaker. Then I added Doo Dadz Polar Wind and snowflakes from Sparkletz December Dream. To finish off the outside of the snow globe, I added a few die cut snowflakes and a bow, from Hip Kit Club, along with trim and a snowflake button from 28 Lilac Lane- Snow Day:

I added Christmas Carnival Sparkletz to the center of  some chipboard snowflakes from my stash:

I used a diecut for my title. Check out that fox, isn't he just the cutest?! I used the Creative Embellishment Grunge Snowflake Stamp on my background and added Christmas Carnival Sparkletz to these as well:

I had a blast creating this fun winter page!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I'm Dreaming....

Hey there friends!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

I am sharing my last card as guest designer for Buttons Galore & More. I had a blast playing with their embellies this last month!

Here's my card:

I created a pocket by stitching vellum to my patterned paper from My Mind's Eye Cozy Christmas. I added Sparkletz December Dream & Sparkletz Icicles in the pocket:

I added a chipboard snowflake from my stash. I added some tangled silver thread and a rub-on that I applied to white cardstock. I used a piece of twine and strung the silver snowflake from 28 Lilac Lane Snow Day

I love how this card came out, it's so pretty!
Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

A Few Christmas Cards

 Hey there friends!

Today I am sharing a few Christmas cards created for Buttons Galore & More as part of my guest designing this month.

I used Pink Fresh Studio and Hip Kit Club die cuts for these cards:

I strung beads from the 28 Lilac Lane Country Christmas on white thread and made a garland on my first card:

For my second card, I made a shaker out of a die cut by adding foam tape and plastic packaging. I filled it with beads and sequins from 28 Lilac Lane Country Christmas:

So dig out those sequins and beads and add them to your project!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Christmas Eve Joy

 Hey friends!

I have been asked by May at Buttons Galore & More to guest design this month. I really enjoy using their embellishments, so of course, I said yes! This is my second project.

I have another shaker to share with you today. I used the Gift Shaker from Creative Embellishments:

I painted the shaker with acrylic paint and then backed the gift with papers from the November 2019 Hip Kit Club kit. I filled the shaker with 28 Lilac Lane Country Christmas Sequins & Beads. I sprayed the bow with Lindy's Glory of the Seas Gold and then added a Peppermint Pairs Candy Cane Button:

I added a cute bow from the kit along with the cute girl"

I used alphas from the kit and added some tree die cuts:

I love that cute deer! I added a Fancy Pants arrow sticker and popped it up:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Christmas Traditions

 Hey there!

I have some exciting news to share!

I was asked by May at  Buttons Galore & More to be a guest designer this month! Whoop! I am so excited and love their products, so of coarse, I said yes!

This is my first project created for them.

I used a cut file from Hip Kit Club, I believe, and backed it with papers from Fancy Pants Home For Christmas 6x6 paper pad.

I hung a few Cookie Cut Outs from my title using baker twine:

I tucked in some die cuts from the Fancy Pants collection:

I added watercolor to my background. I added a photo instead of patterned paper to the "o". This is perfect to get another photo on a layout:

I tucked in a few Ruby Slipper Glitter Buttons and some Tim Holtz word phrase stickers:

I sprinkled Santa's Treats Sprinkletz around my page:

I love using a cut file on my layout and enjoyed tucking in some Button's Galore & More embellies.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

All Smiles

Hey there creative friends!
Hope everyone is safe and healthy!
I am sharing a layout with you created for Creative Embellishments.
It's been 4 years since Sierra had her braces taken off, I figured it was finally time to scrap it!

The Braces Set was just what I needed to scrap these photos. I used a layer of Gesso and then acrylic paints to color the mouth. For the "braces" I sprayed them with a Mister Huey's mist. I used 3 photos- a before, during, and an after:

I used PinkFresh Studios water colors on my background and then added some embellies from my stash. I finished off my layout with some Buttons Galore & More sequins:

I used some foam alpha Thickers and Little Birdie Craft flowers. Here's another close up of that braces set:

This was such a fun layout to create and that chipboard piece was perfect!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
