Fun Times Together

 Hey there friends!

Today I am sharing a layout created for case file #336 at CSI. I was inspired by the colors and used stash for this page of friends of ours and us taking a road trip:

Here are a few close ups:

I used Fancy Pants, Elle's Studio, Simple Stories, Thickers and Becky Higgins for this fun page.
Check out the case file on Facebook.

Destination

Hey friends!
I am back to share a layout created for Creative Embellishments using the June mood board. I was inspired by the branch with flowers on them.

The flowers reminded me of the Cherry Blossom Branch. I colored it with Lindy's mists. I used mists on my white cardstock background and used the Ledger Stencil to add modeling paste:

I put my photos on tissue paper and then patterned paper from Elle's Studio. I popped them up with foam and tucked in a Vintage Lantern on each side. I used Lindy's and Heidi Swapp mists to color them. I did add a bit of modeling paste to them to give some dimension. I colored a few words from the Travel Word Set 1 with Lindy's mists and added them to my layout. Under the "Destination" and above the left photo, I tucked in a piece of the Lace Border 7.

Here's the other Vintage Lantern I used:

Finally. I added some word phrase stickers from Heidi Swapp and flowers from Little Birdie.
Hope you will play along with us this month!

Thankful

Hey there!
It's my day to post the stash challenge over at Creative Inspiration. Today we are busting those old papers. I used some very old Elle Studios paper and embellies for this thankful layout:

I used watercolors for my background. I added a few heart cut files that had been laying on my desk for sometime. I added some fussy cut word phrases and that fun acrylic yellow heart:

I added lots of machine stitching to add some texture:

Thanks for stopping by and stay scrappy!

I added lots of layers, stitching and some Spiegelmom cork:

I added a frame to the top of my photo using foam tape:

AARGH!

Hey there!
I am back today to share a layout I have up on the Sketches In Thyme Blog today.
I used Elle's Studio and a photo of Austin dressed up as a pirate on Halloween in 2009 for this fun page:

I layered some journal spots and a branding strip in the bottom right corner:

I used the "This Makes Me Smile"  and "You Are My Treasure"cut aparts for my title:

I fussy cut the yellow chevrons, added some stitching and used the "Details" card for my journaling. I also used Fancy Pants alphas for a few subtitles:

I fussy cut the word bubble and once again used Fancy Pants alphas:

MS&M Sketches

Hey there! Happy Friday!
There's a new sketch up over at My Scrap's & More Sketches today.
I used Basic Grey Prism for this layout along with the sketch:

Here are some close ups:

I added some strips of paper and stitched in place.
I used some My Mind's Eye brads from my stash:

I wrote my journaling right on the page, something I am challenging myself to do more of.
The star is from my stash and I colored it with a Gelato and water. The "Big News" journal tag I believe is from Elle's Studio and the brad is another from MME:

Here is the fun sketch from Audrey:

Hope you find some time to play along as there is a fun prize up for grabs!
