Using Stash

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for the sketch reveal yesterday at Creative Inspiration.
I have been trying to be good and using some of my stash. I probably have enough stash to scrap at least a year! LOL Any how, I used Fancy Pants Memories Captured and Collecting Moments for this graduation page of Sierra:

I added a Crate Paper frame alon with stickers and fussy cut circles and sars to this corner:

I used watercolor with the packaging technique for my background:

The "graduation: sticker is from Jolees. I added some of the Fancy Pants mini alphas to complete my title:

Here I added some more fussy cut circles and stars:

You can check out Bev's fun sketch over at the Turtle Soup HERE.

Thanks for dropping by and have a wonderful day!

Go Your Own Way

Hey there!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for my Wednesday stash challenge over at Creative Inspiration. My challenge is dig out an old collection or two and use some or all of it on your project.
I used Fancy Pants Collecting Moments and Memories Captured for this layout of Austin. One of the girls at school had posted this on Facebook and I grabbed it since Austin hates his picture taken.

I layered lots of papers and used lots of chipboard buttons and stickers on this page from both collections:

I added a chipboard clock and a ticket along with some of the mini alphas:

I added some stitching:

I also added a tag and a couple of frames:

It feels great to use up some of these old papers and embellies. I still have a lot more to use!

Thanks for stopping and have a great day!

Photo Inspiration

Hello scrappy friends!
Today I am sharing a layout that I created for the challenge I posted this morning at Creative Inspiration.

I used the Picture Perfect cut file from The Cut Shoppe and cut it out on white cardstock. Then I backed the frames with papers from Simple Stories. Then I just added some embellies.
This wood key has been in my stash for at least a few years. I just added a fussy cut flower to it:

I love this bike and popped it up with foam tape to give some dimension:

I fussy cut the word "hello" from patterned paper:

I added the word "Grateful" from a paper and just added a fussy cut flower to it:

This is a 4x6 card that I fussy cut part of the flowers that overlapped the photo and placed my photo under that part:

My challenge is to use this photo as inspiration for a project:

I was inspired by all the frames, the words grateful & hello and also the key.
I would love if you played along with us!

Here We Go Again

Hello there!
Yesterday over at Creative Inspiration we had the DT reveal for the first sketch of the month.
I used Chic Tags Let's Go line and came up with this page of Sierra and Greg walking thru Greenfield Village in Detroit, MI:

I added some stickers along with layers, spatters and stitching:

I fussy cut the word tabs from a branding strip and popped them up with foam tape. I also added the bike rub-on:

I layered in a few cards and ephemera:

My journaling is hidden on the "Notes from today" pullout card:

I also added a brochure of this place to remember some of the stuff we saw while walking thru:

Here is the sketch:

July Project 12

Hey there! Happy Saturday!
I posted my Project 12 sketch and 2 pager for July today at Turtle Soup and wanted to share it here as well.
I used Echo Park Simple Life and a cut file from Paper Issues I believe, which I altered:

The cut file originally had stars all over the page. I deleted a lot of them moved around the rest to create the flourish on the bottom and then just backed it with patterned paper.

Here is the left side:

Right side:

and some close ups:

I fussy cut the flowers and added some stickers popped up with foam tape:

Check out that ribbon, it's so cool and has been in my stash forever!

Here is my sketch:

If you play along with it, please share with me here or at the Turtle Soup.

Enjoy your day!

XOXO

Hey there scrappy friends!
It's my day to post the scrap lift challenge over at the Turtle Soup today.

I lifted a super cute page by Laurie, used Maggie Holmes Bloom and came up with this selfie page of Austin and I taken on July 4th weekend. It's not very often that he lets me take pics of him, so I was happy that he did that day. Love this photo of us!

I heart the pops of gold in this collection and had to use some!

I backed the cut out heart with some green paper and fussy cut a butterfly. I also added a few word stickers and that cute hexagon. Some I popped up with foam tape to add some dimension.

Swoon! More yummy glittery gold! Love it!

Thanks for stopping by and keep scrappy!

Vacation Fun

Hello and happy Friday!
Any fun plans for the weekend?
Today I am sharing a layout I created using a few different challenges. I used a variety of products on this layout as well.

I used a cut file from the Silhouette Studio Store along with papers from Pink Paislee.
I stitched the cut file in place. The orange journaling card (which I forgot to add my journaling to, lol) is from Making Memories, maybe? It's old! The rest of the embellies here are from Fancy Pants and Pink Paislee:

The globe was fussy cut from an Echo Park paper and the camera was fussy cut from a Pink Paislee paper, I believe. The "Silly Moments" sticker was from Fancy Pants. The title is also a mix- "Vacation" is from Pink Paislee and "Fun" are some Thickers  I had in my stash:

I added a few Simple Stories stickers to this page as well:

Here are the challenges I played along with:

Sketch challenge at the Turtle Soup:

Let's Go For The Gold Challenge at Paper Issues:
I created a travel page.

and Scrap Our Stash Book Inspired layout challenge:

I took inspiration from the map and used the world cut file. I also took inspiration from the pointed finger and used a journal card that had one on.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Football

Happy Friday!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for the July 15th sketch challenge at Sketch-N-Scrap and the 7/21 challenge to use a ticket, program, etc. at the Turtle Soup.
I used photos from last years Family Night at Lambeau Field for this fun page along with items from my stash:

I fussy cut my title from a piece of patterned paper and added the "Play" sticker:

I added a border and a 3D sticker:

Here is a look at the ticket. I also fussy cut the "I love football" pennant and added mini alphas over the "I" that says "we":

I added some mist, a journal spot, a sticker and mini alphas:

Here is the sketch:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
