Here We Go Again

Hello there!
Yesterday over at Creative Inspiration we had the DT reveal for the first sketch of the month.
I used Chic Tags Let's Go line and came up with this page of Sierra and Greg walking thru Greenfield Village in Detroit, MI:

I added some stickers along with layers, spatters and stitching:

I fussy cut the word tabs from a branding strip and popped them up with foam tape. I also added the bike rub-on:

I layered in a few cards and ephemera:

My journaling is hidden on the "Notes from today" pullout card:

I also added a brochure of this place to remember some of the stuff we saw while walking thru:

Here is the sketch:

Thanks for stopping by and stay scrappy my friends!

Turtle Soup Reveal

Hey there!
There was a new sketch revealed yesterday at Turtle Soup and I just wanted to share my layout here.
I used Lawn Fawn papers and Chic Tags & Creative  Embellishments embellies  for this page of Sierra and a friend selling sweet corn for their class a few years ago:

I love the colors of these papers- they were perfect for this fun summer photo!

I started out with a white cardstock background and added some watercolor to it. Then I used my Cameo to cut the sun and added October Afternoon mist to color it. I stitched it in place.

I added a stitched title and fun acetate pieces, stickers and wood veneer.

I also added some tangled thread and black mist spatters.

I love the cute birds on the wire  on this background paper.

You can check out the sketch over on the forum.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Of coarse with my photo and where we were vacationing, I had to choose the title California Girls. Look at how white we are:)

This Makes Me Ridiculously Happy!

Happy Friday scrappy friends!
There is a new sketch up on the My Scraps & More Sketches Blog today.
I used Chic Tags Happy Place for this layout of Sierra and Austin. These 2 used to fight all the time, but now they are getting along so well. It's almost scary, LOL! I wonder if they are going to gang up on their dad and I? LOL

I added some watercolor and stamping to the background and used 4 of the 3x4 cards with this line:

Some close ups:

It does make me so happy to see them finally getting along!

Bubble Wrap

Hey there!
Happy Friday!
There is a new sketch up on the My Scraps & More Sketch Blog today!
I used Elle's Studio Everyday Moments and Chic Tags for these pics of Sierra at Christmas. I caught her playing with the bubble wrap after opening a gift:

I used bubble wrap, Gesso and paint to create my background and then added some water color and yellow mist:

The white scalloped circle paper is something that was in my stash after punching scalloped circles out for another layout I did previously and I thought I would throw it on there and I love the texture it adds:

This was such a fun layout to create!
