Hello Winter

 Hey there friends!

I was asked by May at Buttons Galore and More to be a guest designer for December. Of coarse, I said yes!

I used Crate Paper Snowflakes for this page:

I started this page by painting the Snow Globe Shaker from Creative Embellishments with Gesso and acrylic paint. I added a few die cut trees and a fussy cut snowman to the inside of the shaker along with BoBunny Glitter Paste for the snow at the bottom of the shaker. Then I added Doo Dadz Polar Wind and snowflakes from Sparkletz December Dream. To finish off the outside of the snow globe, I added a few die cut snowflakes and a bow, from Hip Kit Club, along with trim and a snowflake button from 28 Lilac Lane- Snow Day:

I added Christmas Carnival Sparkletz to the center of  some chipboard snowflakes from my stash:

I used a diecut for my title. Check out that fox, isn't he just the cutest?! I used the Creative Embellishment Grunge Snowflake Stamp on my background and added Christmas Carnival Sparkletz to these as well:

I had a blast creating this fun winter page!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Happy Birthday!

 Hey there!

Today is Greg's birthday so I made him a card using some products from 88 and Clear:

I made my card base from Tangy Orange cardstock, added a layer of Sweet Banana cardstock and then topped it off with Sour Watermelon. I used the Handwritten stamp on the Sour Watermelon layer and stamped with Sour Watermelon Sugar Cube. I stamped the lantern, banner and sentiment from the Sweet Celebration stamp set using Black Taffy Sugar Cube. Then fussy cut them out and added some Powdered Sugar Twine:

Christmas In Germany

 Hey there friends!

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas! We spent it at home with just the four of us, so different from other years. Last year Sierra spent the holidays in Germany visiting her boyfriend. Here is a Christmas page using some of those photos. I used a sketch from Scrap Our Stash but used 3 photos instead of 2 and used lots of stash on this page:

I used papers and chipboard from MME Cozy Christmas and added in a few Paper House 3D stickers:

I added in a few holly and berry chipboard pieces from MAMBI. I used some glittery Thickers for my title:

I'm Dreaming....

Hey there friends!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!

I am sharing my last card as guest designer for Buttons Galore & More. I had a blast playing with their embellies this last month!

Here's my card:

I created a pocket by stitching vellum to my patterned paper from My Mind's Eye Cozy Christmas. I added Sparkletz December Dream & Sparkletz Icicles in the pocket:

I added a chipboard snowflake from my stash. I added some tangled silver thread and a rub-on that I applied to white cardstock. I used a piece of twine and strung the silver snowflake from 28 Lilac Lane Snow Day

I love how this card came out, it's so pretty!

Christmas Sled Home Decor

Happy Christmas Eve!

Today I am sharing a fun home decor project I created for Creative Embellishments using the Sled. The sled is cut from birch wood and is 3/16" thick. Perfect for those home decor craft projects.

I added a few layers of white Gesso to the sled body. Then added red acrylic paint. When that was dry, I dry brushed white acrylic paint on it. I used Heidi Swapp Bronze Color Shine and Lindy's Moon Shadow Mist on the blades of the sled. I added some fussy cut flowers using the Best Glue Ever from ScraPerfect. I used a hot glue gun to adhere the blades.

I colored the Merry Christmas Large Style 2 with acrylic paint and added some mists spatters. I used the Best Glue Ever to adhere it to the sled. I tied jute to the top of the sled to hang it.

This was such a fun project to create and I love how it came out! Check out all the other home decor pieces in the store. I will be sharing the snowflake next month.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Christmas!

A Few Christmas Cards

 Hey there friends!

Today I am sharing a few Christmas cards created for Buttons Galore & More as part of my guest designing this month.

I used Pink Fresh Studio and Hip Kit Club die cuts for these cards:

I strung beads from the 28 Lilac Lane Country Christmas on white thread and made a garland on my first card:

For my second card, I made a shaker out of a die cut by adding foam tape and plastic packaging. I filled it with beads and sequins from 28 Lilac Lane Country Christmas:

So dig out those sequins and beads and add them to your project!

Christmas Layout

 Hey there!

Today I am sharing a layout created for Sketches In Thyme using sketch #449 and a Recollections Christmas paper pad I picked up not too long ago:

I struggle with circles on layouts but I feel these papers were perfect:

I fussy cut some presents and added a few snowflake stickers from Jolees that I picked up at Michaels that were on clearance. I also added a Mambi chipboard piece (Christmas Eve) and a Paper House 3D sticker (presents)

I fussy cut the poinsettias and the "tis the season" is a sticker from Mambi. I used a stamp to add my date:

Once I figured the circles out, this layout came together very quickly.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

21st Birthday Drink

 Hey there scrappy friends!

We celebrated my sons 21st birthday back in June. 21 here in Wisconsin is the legal drinking age. He wanted to go to B's Tap House for his first beer, lol, before going out to dinner. I used JilliBean Soup Spotted Owl Soup and a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap for this birthday page:

I fussy cut the owl and added that to the top of the ticket stickers. I added lots of machine stitching:

I hand cut banner pieces, added some Divine Twine to hang them:

The crown is a sticker from an old Echo park birthday collection. I added a few more fussy cut owls and some word stickers. The colored owns are JilliBean and the white are Simple Stories:

Holly Jolly

 Hey there scrappy friends!

Today I am sharing a fun Christmas layout of Sierra, Greg and I That I created for 88 and Clear. We were in Walmart shopping last Christmas and friends of ours took our picture by the tree. I added lots of stamped images on this fun page:

I used the Santa's Kisses Stamp along with Black Taffy Sugar Cube for the santa and child. I colored it with watercolor pencils and then fussy cut it. I added Dazzling Pat to Santa's beard and white trim on his suit:

The trees are from the Love Jack Stamp Set. I stamped them on white and Rich Cactus Card Stock using the Black Taffy Sugar Cube. The ones stamped on white cardstock were colored with watercolor pencils:

I used the swag from the Santa's Kisses Stamp set. I colored it with watercolor pencils. I backed my photo with Rich Blueberry and Rich Cherry Card Stocks. I used the Rich Blueberry Sugar Cube and made watercolor out of it and plattered it on my background:

I added PinkFresh puffy stickers. For my title and the snowflakes I used Thickers:

I had a blast creating this page and I love how it came out!
I hope I have inspired you to dig out your stamps and use them on a layout!

Merry Christmas Card

 Hey there! Happy Friday!

Today I am sharing a Christmas card that I created for 88 and Clear.

For the bottom layer, I used Rich Cactus card stock and stamped using the Tight Plaid stamp with Rich Cactus Sugar Cube. I added a layer of Powdered Sugar Card Stock for the second layer. For the 3rd layer, I used the same stamp on Rich Cherry Card Stock and used the Rich Cherry Sugar Cube. For the top layer I used the Rich Cactus Card Stock & Sugar Cube along with the Christmas Story Stamp.
I love the simpleness of this card, the stamping really stands out!
