German Class

Hey there!
I am sharing another layout for the 3rd Annual Mad About Sketches Crop going on at Cooking Up Creations. The Sketches In Thyme team is teaming up with them this month!
I used PhotoPlay Real Genius for this layout of Sierra's German Class:

I used a border punch finally! I added some layers of patterned paper under my photo. I used two different alphas from the collection for my title. I also added these Creative Embellishments wood veneer sunglasses:

I fussy cut the girl from one of the papers and added this ribbon wood veneer, it's been in my stash for awhile!

The guy was also fussy cut from one of the papers. I used watercolors and a stamp from Creative Embellishments for my background:

Thanks for stopping and have a great day!

Happy Campers

Hello friends!
I have a  camping layout up at ScraPerfect today.
I used Simple Stories Under The Stars and ScraPerfect products for this fun page!
I added ScraPerfect Transfer Foil to a cut file. Here's my page:

Cut your cut file:

Add a small amount of the Best Glue Ever to it. I spread the glue with my finger:

Once the glue is dry, it becomes clear and tacky. I grabbed the orange ScraPerfect Transfer Foil and placed it on top of the cut file, foil side up:

Now rub with your fingers:

Peel away the foil sheet. This is the result: Love it!

I added foam to the back of my sticker to pop it up and give it dimension. The Best Glue Ever works perfect for adhering this to my layout:

Here are a few close ups:
I used alphas from Pink Paislee I believe and stitched through them with my sewing machine:

I fussy cut the oars from one of the papers and added a few stickers. The "Take a hike" one has the foam behind it:

I added a 3x4 card and a few more stickers:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I added watercolor to my background using the packaging technique. I added a few layers of patterned paper under my photo, ripping a few of the edges to add texture. I added  a few diecut campers and the smaller fussy cut one:

I fussy cut the pine trees from one of the papers and added some heart stickers:

I added the diecut squirrel and mushrooms here along with a fussy cut tree and a heart sticker:

Bella

Hey friends!
I am sharing a layout I created for CSI today using case file #282. This month we are teaming up with Tell Me A Story and using one of their sketches. I used JilliBean Soup Golden Harvest and You Make Miso Happy for this layout of Sierra's boyfriend, Ben's cat, Bella:

I added watercolor to my background and then cut a circle from patterned paper and stitched it in place. I added a few strips of patterned papers and also a few strips of punched corrugated paper. I machine stitched those as well. I added some diecuts from the JilliBean Soup lines:

The cat diecut is from Fancy Pants We Are Family. I added some tangled thread to both sides of the photo. I also added a few diecut hearts:

These window diecuts from JilliBean were perfect for this layout and challenge! Bella enjoyed sunning herself from the sun coming through the window in the living room. I added a few cat and mice stickers:

Here is the case file:

Here is the sketch from Tell Me A Story:

I was inspired by the colors, sketch and cats.
For evidence, I used: textured paper, cats, windows, and potted plants. My testimony is documented something quirky about a pet.
We would love to have you play along and share your layout on the CSI Facebook Group page.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Groovy!

Hey there!
Today I have a fun layout to share with you. I created this layout for Off The Rails.
I used 2 cut files from the Silhouette store and Shimelle for this hippie page:

I added watercolor to my background. I used Distress Oxide Inks to give my cut files a tie-dyed look. For my title, I heat embossed flowers before I added the inks:

I added some machine stitching. I added some Shimelle wood buttons to the centers of my larger flowers:

Here I tucked in a fussy cut heart to bring some of that pink to this side of the page:

Here is the mood board:

This was such a fun layout to create!

Family Page

Hey friends!
I am back to share the layout using my handmade embellies from last month. Remember those? If not, here they are again:

Here's the layout I created using all of them for ScraPerfect:

I attached the handmade embellies to my border on the left side of my page using the Best glue Ever.

I also used the Best Glue Ever to adhere the layers of paper behind my photo and to adhere the chipboard banner under my photo. This glue is the best for all types of surfaces!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Autumn Adventure

Hey friends!
I am back today to share a fun layout with you that I have up on the Creative Embellishment Blog today.
Greg and I love to 4 wheel, but don't go as often as we used to now that the kids are grown. This photo of us was taken last fall on our afternoon ride with a few friends:
I added watercolor to my white cardstock background to mimic the sky. I added torn brown cardstock to the bottom of the layout.
I used a cut file from the Silhouette store and cut it on white cardstock. I stitched it to the background and then decided to add watercolor to the trees as well.

I used Doodlebug Flea Market, ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever along with CE products for this fun page.
I used 2 of the deer from the Reindeer Set and added Distress Inks to them. I tucked one behind my photo and put the other one in the lower right corner. I added some stickers and fussy cut leaves:

I colored the wood veneer Fall Leaves with Gelatos and tucked some in around my photo and have 2 falling on my page:

I also tucked in a cool leaf from the Autumn Leaves Set. I used a green Gelato to color it. Here I also added a few wood veneer Fall Leaves along with some more fussy cut leaves:

For my title I used the word "autumn" from the Autumn Leaves Set and the word "Adventure" from the Adventure Word Set. I used 4 different Gelatos to color them:

This was such a fun layout to create and I love how it came out! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Cold Case #283

Hey there!
Today I am sharing by take on the Cold case file #283 at CSI. Cold case files are for using some, a little, or all stuff from your stash.
I used old My Minds Eye Stella Rose for this layout:

I created a gallery effect by using photos and Creative Embellishment chipboard frames. I added  acrylic paint to them and then backed them with patterned paper. . I fussy cut my title from a card:

I used some old Pink Paislee rub-ons. I added one to this frame along with some buttons from my stash:

These photos are from Sierra's Junior Prom. The tree is another rub-on:

I added a few stickers from MME and also more buttons and a few more rub-ons:

I added a few strips of a wood paper and used a border punch. I stitched them to my page. For my sub title, I used more word stickers from MME. I also added another rub-on and button here:

Here's the case file:

It makes me feel so good to use my stash and I love how you can make old product look new again!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
