Family Time

Hey friends!
Happy Monday! We have the day off of school so I am playing in my scrappy room!
I used some old Lily Bee Designs and the January sketch at Scrap Our Stash for this layout of Sierra, Greg and I in front of the big tree in Walmart:

For my title, I used a gold Thickers word along with the November 2018 alphas that came in the Hip Kit Club kit:

I traced a few circles, cut them out and then added machine stitching in white. I added faux stitching in back around the outside of the patterned paper to make the layout "pop":

Grateful

Hey there Friends!
I am back  today to share a fun, landscaped layout I created using some chipboard pieces from Creative Embellishments. I started this page using the negative piece of a cut file:

I backed the cut file with a brown patterned paper from Simple Stories Happy trails. I used Lindy's and Mister Huey's mists to color the Tall Trees and placed them on my background:

I added watercolor to the background. I used my sewing machine to add in a few clouds. I added one of the Birds and used a Tim Holtz Distress Ink to color it:

I used the picnic table from the Camping Set and colored it with the Distress ink as well. I added the racoon and camper stickers from the Simple Stories collection:

I added a few layers of patterned paper under my photo, added some fussy cut flowers around it and layered in a few stickers. For the title, I used the word "Grateful" from the Thankful Word Set. I used mists to color it:

I just love how this layout came out! And I love all the fun chipboard pieces!

CSI Cold Case

Hey there friends!
I am sharing a layout created for CSI's January cold case challenge, #308. This challenge is all about using your stash!
I used old Dear Lizzy (the orange paper is Webster's Pages) for this fun page along with watercolors and mists:

I tucked in some pom-pom ribbon below my photo and in the crock of the middle hear. I added a few Heidi Swapp word phrases and my journaling. To create my title, I used old alpha stickers:

I fussy cut the mason jar and the "good times" card. I added an acrylic hash tag from  Heidi Swapp:

Wanderlust

Hey there!
I had lots of free scrappy time with being on Christmas break from Christmas until the New Year. I added a few diecuts to the lower right side of my photo. I tucked in a bag with a tag in it under the photo for my journaling:

Behind the left photo, I added a frame. I used another bag behind the right one and then added a sticker. I added a twine bow to the diecut:

For my bingo, I used sequins, twine, free space, stars and sticker.

Happy New Year!

Hey there friends!
Hope you had a wonderful New Years!
I am back today to share a New Year's layout with you that I created for Creative Embellishments. I used a photo of Greg, Sierra and a few friends we celebrated with last year for this fun page:

I used texture paste through the Twinkle Star Stencil to create my background. Then I added a few different colors of Lindy's Magical Shakers with water. I love the bright colors! Once that was dry, I used one of the Halftone Circle Stamps with black ink. I used a variety of mists to color my title, Happy New Year:

I used the 2019 chipboard piece and cut it in half.I put half on the left side of the photo and half on the right. I colored it with mists as well:

I used the words "fresh" and "start" from the New Years Word Set and colored them with mists. I stamped the flowers, berries and leaves and fussy cut them:

I added bling to the center of some of the flowers. Finally, I finished up the layout with some stickers, enamel dots and spatters of gold mist:

This was such a fun layout to create and I love how it turned out!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a healthy and happy 2020!

Snow Storm

Hey there friends! Happy New Year!
It's the first of the month, that means a design team reveal for the challenge at Creative Embellishments. I am so excited to be staying on the design team for 2020! I love working with Nicolle and this talented team!
Now onto my layout:
I was inspired by the snow and pine trees and came up with this winter page:

On the background, I used the Fairy Dust Stencil and put light modeling paste through it. Once it was dry, I added watered down mist. I let it dry again and then added some machine stitching. I took 3 of the Large Snowflakes, added Gesso and let them dry. Then I heat embossed them in silver. I cut one in half and added the halves to the right side and bottom of my layout:

The other two, I placed some tangled thread under. I added a Distressed Snowflakes Flair to the one to the right of my photo:

I heat embossed the words from the Snow Pretty Word Set and added some above and below my photo:

For my title, I used "Snow Storm" from the Blizzard Word Set. I heat embossed this as well:

To finish off the layout, I added some stickers. I added the modeling paste, stitching, paper tearing and distressing for lots of texture. I am looking forward to seeing your take on the challenge and may you have a healthy 2020!
