Just A Dad and His Girl

Hello everyone!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
I am back to share another project with you that I created for Creative Embellishments. I used a photo of Sierra and Greg from Homecoming back in 2015:

I used the Just A Dad and His Girl chipboard piece for my title. I sprayed it with a Lindy's mist.

On the lower left of my photo, I added lots of diecuts and tucked in some bling and a few Hearts, sprayed with the same Lindy's mist:

I also added a cluster of embellishments on the upper right of my photo:

I also used:
Jen Hatfield and Heidi Swapp (blue) patterned papers
Prima Crystals
Jen Hatfield Diecuts
Pink Paislee butterflies

I love how this page came out! And I am happy I finally have this photo scrapped as it has been sitting on my desk forever, lol! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Merry Christmas!

 Merry Christmas everyone!

I have a Christmas card I created for 88 and Clear using the December mood board as inspiration:

I used a premade card base and added a layer of Sweet Pink Sugar Stock. I stamped a piece of Rich Cherry Sugar Stock with the Tight Plaid Stamp and Black Taffy Sugar Cube

I used Black Taffy Sugar Cube and stamped trees from Camp Out and Love Jack Stamp Sets. I stamped them on Sweet Cane and Tangy Apple Sugar Stocks and then fussy cut them out. The sentiment is from the Tag It Stamp Set. I used the Black Taffy Sugar Cube and stamped it on Powder Sugar Sugar Stock. Finally, I added watered down white paint spatters to mimic snow and added some Dazzling Pat spatters for some sparkle:

I hope each and everyone of you has the best Christmas ever!
Thanks for stopping by and I appreciate you!

Farm Sweet Farm

 Hey there friends!

Today I am sharing my take on the last sketch of the year at Sketches In Thyme. I used Simple Stories Simple Vintage Farmhouse Garden for these photos Sierra took while in Germany in August:

I didn't realize these chipboard frames were so big when I ordered them, but I made it work with the sketch. I tucked one photo behind the frame and added one on top:

The sketch has 2- 4x6" photos, I usually scrap wallet sized photos, so I just added a few more photos. Sketches are used as a starting point and you can adapt them to fit the photos you are using:

I added some machine stitching and a few embellies from the Simple Stories collection:

Check out the sketch and play along with us!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Creative Embellishments December Challenge

 Hi everyone!

Creative Embellishments has another fun challenge this month! There is a CE gift certificate up for grabs.

This month's challenge is to be inspired by the photo and to use bling on your project. I was inspired by the colors and tree. Here's my layout:

I painted the Ornament Frames with gold acrylic paint and tucked in some Basic Grey papers from my stash along with the Star Trees. I colored the trees with acrylic paint and a few different colors of Lindy's mists:

I added the words "Joy", "Noel" and "Gifts" from the Christmas Sentiments. I added some Tim Holtz word phrases and some bling from my stash.

I created a little cluster at the bottom of my page. I added a wood veneer Tree to it that I painted gold as well:

I had a blast creating this page and I am looking forward to seeing your take on the challenge!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
