22nd Birthday

Hey Friends,
I am sharing a birthday layout using a sketch from Sketches In Thyme and October Afternoon's Cakewalk collection. Remember that one, it's an oldie but goodie! One of my favorite OA lines!

I fussy cut that banner from one of the papers and then stitched it.
I fussy cut the packages from the papers and popped them up with foam dots to add some dimension:

I fussy cut this from one of the cards and popped them up with foam. Aren't those animals adorable? I added a few musical notes from the sticker sheet:

I used alphas from the collection for the word "birthday" and then used some orange Thickers for the number. I added a card on each side of the photo. Then added some stitching and a few die cuts:

Here is the sketch by Shaun Lahr:

I love using my stash and making it look like new!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Wally World

Hey friends!
I had some fun scrappy time while camping last week. Greg had to work and left every morning about 5:30 a.m. so I scrapped! I was on a roll!
I created this layout using a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap along with the November 2019 Hip Kit Club kit and came up with this page of Greg, Sierra and I in Walmart on Sierra's birthday:

I used watercolors to add some color on my white cardstock background. I used a few different alphas for my title and added a bow under it:

I added a die cut tree to the right of my photo and added a chipboard heart to the top of it:

In the upper right corner, I added a few pennants, a strip of patterned paper and some stitching:

Here's the sketch:

This was such a fun sketch to play with and I love how my layout came out.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Quarantine

Hey there! Lisa back to share a layout with you using some of the new pandemic chipboard pieces from Creative Embellishments along with a cut file from Paige Evans and Bella Blvd. stash:

I backed the letters of the cut file with different patterned papers from Bella Blvd. I tucked my photo partially under the cut file and added layers under it. For my title, I used the Flatten The Curve chipboard piece which I colored with a Lindy's mist:

I added a few Pandemic Hashtags to the bottom left of my page. These were colored with the same Lindy's mist. I tucked in a few fussy cut houses:

I used all 3 chipboard pieces from Virus. I added Gesso and then a combination of Heidi Swapp and Recollections mists:

I added the third Virus and Pandemic Hashtag to the top of my page:

I love all these pandemic chipboard pieces! They make it so easy to document this difficult time. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

USA

Hey there friends!
Hope you had a great 4th! I was inspired by the colors and flag in case file #325 at CSI and created a 4th of July page using a photo of Greg and I from last year:

I used Simple Stories Sea To Shining Sea for this page. I fussy cut the "USA"  and anchor from patterned paper and placed my photo in between. I added some Mirror Acrylic Stars from Creative Embellishments:

I fussy cut the bike and arrow. I added blue brads, red sequins and while beads:

I fussy cut the "Original summer memories" and added the "America" chipboard piece from Creative Embellishments. I added some ribbon and flowers under it:

I added some stickers. I loved the tugboats and the cute crab:

Go check out the case files for this month, we would love to have you play along with us!

Stars & Stripes

Hey everyone!
I am back to share a fun 4th of July page with you that I created for Creative Embellishments.
I used Bella Blvd. All American along with some fun Creative Embellishment goodies.

I used the Star Frame and painted it with acrylic paints as the starting point of this page. I added my photos on top of it with patterned paper behind each one. The "All American" on the right photo, is actually part of the branding strip. It was perfect!

I used the words "Stars" and "Stripes" from the Independance Day Word Set. I used acrylic paint on them as well. I added in a few of the Mirror Acrylic Silver Star Pieces.

This is a closer look at the fun star frame and the title. I used some alpha stickers, stitched through them and then overlapped the "stripes" word:

That cute banner is from the Stars & Stripes Banner set. I painted it with the same acrylic paints. Check out those fun Mirror Acrylic Stars, I love them!

I hope I have inspired you in some way to start scrapping those 4th of July photos. Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Birthday Girl

Hey there!
Have you seen the CSI case files this month? If not, go take a peek and play along with us. This layout was created for cold case file #326.
I used some 2018 Hip Kit Club kits for this layout of Sierra on her birthday:

I fussy cut lemons from Maggie Holmes Flourish and Pink Paislee Pick Me Up papers. I tucked in a Maggie Holmes rosette, a Lilybee Design label and some punched butterflies:

I used an old resin frame from my stash and backed it with the yellow honeycomb paper from Lilybee. I added some Maggie Holmes Flourish bottle stickers:

The banner is from Lilybee. I added a punched butterfly with some stitching through it. I used some gold alphas from one of the kits for my title:

In this cluster of lemons, I added a lonely yellow stick pin from my stash:

Birthday Bash

Hey friends!
It's the first of the month, that means a new challenge at Creative Embellishments. I was inspired by the colors and birthday theme and created this page of Sierra:

I used Echo Park Birthday Boy for this page. I tore the strip of patterned paper and added it to the middle of the white cardstock. Then I stitched on both sides. I added some watercolor spatters. I added a few layers of patterned paper under my photo. I added balloons from the Balloons Set 2 and colored them with Gelatos:

For my title, I used the Birthday Bash from the Birthday Word Set and colored them with Gelatos as well. I fussy cut the blue crown from a circle sticker:

I added a few phrases the the cut apart sheet and popped one up with craft foam to add some dimension. I fussy cut the banners from one of the papers and stitched them on:

This was such a fun layout to create and I love how it came out!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

So Good

Hey there friends!
Today I am sharing a layout created for case file #321 at CSI. This layout was inspired by the colors and raindrops in the mood board. The raindrops made me think of this raindrop paper in the Shimelle Little By Little collection, so that was my starting point. Here's my page:

I added water color to my background along with some Heidi Swapp black mist spatters. Finally added some layers of patterned papers and some stitching:

I fussy cut the word "Good" and the journal block from the papers. I used some Thickers for the word "so":

I fussy cut flowers and circles from the papers and added them. I made a nest of thread under the  heart flair. I added in some old black Basic Grey rub-ons.

Check out the mood board and play along with us this month. There are some fabulous prizes up for grabs!
