Dad & Me

Hey there scrappy friends!

I am sharing a layout created for 88 and Clear using their fabulous products! We were at dinner one night and I snapped this picture of Sierra and Greg:

I used Echo Park Yours Truly stash. I added a few papers from the collection to my background paper and then scrapped some Media Mixer on it. When that was dry, I made watercolor out of the Tangy Berry Sugar Cube by rubbing some on plastic packaging and then added a bit of water. Finally, I used the packaging technique to apply it to my background. I used the 3 smallest hearts in the These Hearts Die and cut 2 of each from Rich Cherry, Sweet Pink and Tangy Berry Sugar Stocks. Then I layered them up and added some machine stitching. This creates lots of texture and depth:

I added a tag I had made years ago from the same collection under my photo and layered in a few patterned papers. I tangled some Black Taffy Twine and tucked it in under my photo:

I added a few stickers, alphas and the fussy cut typewriter. I also tucked in some Tim Holtz Small Talk stickers, a few fussy cut flowers and a few red hearts from October Afternoon:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Senior Photos

 Hello!

I am sharing a layout created for Sketches In Thyme using sketch #466 by Bev Code. I used lots of stash on this page of Austin most of it is Little Yellow Bicycle. I used a few of his senior pics:

I added lots of layers behind the photos to use up the bits and pieces I had. I tucked in the acetate and added a rub-on from Crate Paper:

I fussy cut the bird and added a balloon from Forever In Time, a burlap arrow from Simple Stories. The rub-ons are Crate Paper. I used a few different Thickers for my title:

Here I added a flower, leaf, chipboard leaf, stick pin, ticker, more rub-ons, a burlap heart from Simple Stories and the wood button is LYB with some Divine Twine:

I added a touch of green with this chipboard tree to make this photo pop. I added a cork butterfly which I wrapped thread around to add some color. I loved the rub-on from Daisy D and have been hoarding it. This layout was perfect for it!

Gardening Mini Album

Hello everyone!
Today I am sharing a fun gardening mini album that I created for Creative Embellishments using lots of chipboard pieces and papers from my stash.
Greg and I have a pretty big veggie garden every year. We also have raspberries and blueberries and flower gardens. I took a bunch of photos last summer and decided to create a mini album with a garden theme. I used the Mason jar Mini Album- it was perfect since we can as well. I tucked in a Bumblebee, a Strawberry and a Sun:

On the first page, I added some pieces from the Rainy Days wood veneer colored with mist and the watering can from the Garden Supplies:

I tucked in a few smaller Jars in between:

This is the back side of the jar. I added Dazzling Pat to the jar part and added gold acrylic paint to the lid. Then added some Powdered Sugar Twine. I added the word "cultivate" to the right page. I colored it with a metallic Sharpie I also added a few Vegetables colored with Sharpies:

I added a wood veneer sun from Sunny Days and the tulip flair to the left page. I added Raspberries to the right page:

On the left I added more Vegetables. I added in another Jar and left this side blank for journaling:

On the other side of the Jar, I added some twine, fussy cut flowers and a Strawberry. I added some stickers and a fussy cut canning jar to the right page:

I added the words "harvest" and "bountiful" from the Autumn Word Set. I added in glove and wheel barrow from the Garden Supplies and a Bumblebee:

I added the Coneflower and words "Beauty" and "Shine" from the Sparkle Word Set. I colored them with Nuvo Glitter Markers. I added in another Jar with a wood veneer Sun and a Shovel:

Here's a close up:

On the last page, I added the word "fall" from the Autumn Word Set. I also added a planter and shovel from the Garden Supplies:

I covered the back cover with the same red plaid paper that I have on the front:

I love how this mini album came out and I also love that I used a bunch of photos!

Lovely

 Hey there!

Today I am sharing a layout created for 88 and Clear. This layout is of Greg, Sierra and myself. We were celebrating Sierra's 22nd birthday:

I wanted to do an ombre effect on this layout. I used the Heart Panels Stamp and stamped 2 in each of these colors: (going from the top of the layout to bottom) Sweet Pink, Sour Guava, Sour Watermelon, Tangy Berry and Rich Cherry Sugar Cubes. Then I fussy cut them and added them in a strip down the left side of my layout:

I used Cocoa Vanilla Studio Wild At Heart collection. I added a chipboard frame, some fussy cut butterflies and flowers and the cut apart phrase:

I used the same Sugar Cubes to make watercolors for my background. I added a chipboard title and some machine stitching to my butterflies:

This was such a fun layout to create! I love using the Sugar Cubes to make watercolor!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Moments

Hey there!
I am back to share another layout with you that I created for Creative Embellishments.
I used a photo of my son when he was younger. We were camping and he was watching a squirrel up in the tree. I took lots of photos, these are just a few:

I used KaiserCraft Sea Breeze collection. I added some machine stitching. I added some Gesso and acrylic paint to the Chipmunks:

I fussy cut the circle "find joy..." and "enjoy" from one of the papers. I added another Chipmunk here. I added a layer of Gesso, grey acrylic paint and then dry brushed it with brown acrylic paint:

I added brown acrylic paint to the word "moment" from the Moments Word Set and used that as my title. I fussy cut the flowers in the upper left and lower right from another paper and the popped them up to add some dimension:

I hope I have inspired you in some way.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I have been saving this taco and the taco truck for quite some time since I couldn't find these pics. I am happy I finally found them because they are perfect for those stickers:

Sympathy Card

 Hey everyone!

Today I am sharing a sympathy card I created using 88 and Clear products.

I used Sweet Cane Sugar Stock as the base of my card. I added a layer of Sweet Lavender Sugar Stock and then a layer of Sweet Banana Sugar Stock. I used the Square Netting stamp and stamped with Sweet Banana Sugar Cube:

I printed the Feel Better Digital Stamp on white cardstock and colored it using watercolor pencils. Then I used a watercolor brush to blend. I fussy cut the flowers and popped them up using foam. I added a bow, KaiserCraft pearls and some Dazzling Pat spatters. For my sentiment, I used the heartfelt sympathy from the Feel Better Digital Stamp and backed it with Sweet Lavender Sugar Stock.

 Hey there scrappy friends!

Today I have a fun layout to share with you that I created for case file #351 at CSI using lots of stash. When my kids were younger they always called me mama llama. Here's my layout:

I cut the yellow pennant from a Teresa Collins paper and the orange is from Cocoa Vanilla. I added in a wood veneer from Cocoa Vanilla, chipboard pieces from Bella Blvd and some pom-pom trim from my stash:

I added gesso and pounced acrylic paint on these fun chipboard Llamas from Creative Embellishments. I also added in the Barbed Wire Border from Creative Embellishments that I sprayed with Heidi Swapp Color Shine:

For my title, I used alphas from Evalicious along with some Thickers. I added in some Tim Holtz word phrase stickers and a rub-on from my stash.
