Families Are Forever

Hello Scrappy friends!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for Creative Embellishments. I used lots of chipboard pieces from the CE store along with items from my stash on this layout of Greg and his siblings:

I added watercolors to my background. I used the words "brothers" and "sisters" from the Family Words and colored them with Glimmer Mist. I added the ampersand sticker from my stash:

I used a paper from JilliBean Soup to mat my photo. I colored the Leafy Tree with a few different inks and added that to the left side of my photo along with an acetate leaves branch and flowers from Hip Kit:

I colored the Families Are Forever chippie with Glimmer Mist and added it to my page adding craft foam on the back where needed:

To the right of my photo, I tucked in the tree frame from the Family ATC Frames. I colored this with the same inks as the Leafy Tree. I added a heart diecut, "Love This" and the enamel flower- all are from Hip Kit. I used a stamp for my date:

I really enjoyed creating this layout! I hope I have inspired you in some way. Thanks for stopping by and I will be back soon!

Vacation Layout For Creative Embellishments

Hey there Scrappy Friends,
I am  back to share a vacation layout with you using some fun chipboard pieces from Creative Embellishments along with some BoBunny, KI Memories and Basic Grey papers from my stash:

The background paper is from BoBunny and I added the torn number paper from KI Memories. I used Tim Holtz Distressed Inks to add some shading to the Clock Towers and then placed them to the left of my photo and one partially under it. I matted my photo with a few patterned papers- the striped is Basic Grey and the brown is BoBunny. I added my journaling to the right:

I added a few flowers from Little Birdie Crafts and tucked in a piece of a Distressed Clock. I also added a wood veneer Travel Geo Tag. Both pieces are colored with Distressed Inks and Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist:

I used the Vacation chipboard piece for my title and colored that with Distressed Ink and mists as well:

Finally, I added the Travel Corner in the upper right hand side of my page:

This was such a fun and grungy page to create and I love how it came out! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Gardening Mini Album

Hello everyone!
Today I am sharing a fun gardening mini album that I created for Creative Embellishments using lots of chipboard pieces and papers from my stash.
Greg and I have a pretty big veggie garden every year. We also have raspberries and blueberries and flower gardens. I took a bunch of photos last summer and decided to create a mini album with a garden theme. I used the Mason jar Mini Album- it was perfect since we can as well. I tucked in a Bumblebee, a Strawberry and a Sun:

On the first page, I added some pieces from the Rainy Days wood veneer colored with mist and the watering can from the Garden Supplies:

I tucked in a few smaller Jars in between:

This is the back side of the jar. I added Dazzling Pat to the jar part and added gold acrylic paint to the lid. Then added some Powdered Sugar Twine. I added the word "cultivate" to the right page. I colored it with a metallic Sharpie I also added a few Vegetables colored with Sharpies:

I added a wood veneer sun from Sunny Days and the tulip flair to the left page. I added Raspberries to the right page:

On the left I added more Vegetables. I added in another Jar and left this side blank for journaling:

On the other side of the Jar, I added some twine, fussy cut flowers and a Strawberry. I added some stickers and a fussy cut canning jar to the right page:

I added the words "harvest" and "bountiful" from the Autumn Word Set. I added in glove and wheel barrow from the Garden Supplies and a Bumblebee:

I added the Coneflower and words "Beauty" and "Shine" from the Sparkle Word Set. I colored them with Nuvo Glitter Markers. I added in another Jar with a wood veneer Sun and a Shovel:

Here's a close up:

On the last page, I added the word "fall" from the Autumn Word Set. I also added a planter and shovel from the Garden Supplies:

I covered the back cover with the same red plaid paper that I have on the front:

I love how this mini album came out and I also love that I used a bunch of photos!
