Life Is Like An Ice Cream...

 Hey there card making friends!

I am sharing a card I created for 88 and Clear using the August free digi set with a $25 purchase. It's called Ice Cream and it is so yummy!

I used Tangy Peach Sugar Stock as the base and then added layers of Sweet Cocoa, Sour Mist and Sweet Pink Sugar Stocks:

I cut a circle from Tangy Peach Sugar Stock using the Ring Layers Die and added part of it to the top, Then I added some machine stitching. I added some white paint spatters. I colored the Ice Cream cones with Caliart markers and then fussy cut them. I popped them up using craft foam. I fussy cut the sentiment from the Ice Cream Digi as well and added it on top of my cones:

Covid Vaccine

 Hey there!

Today I am sharing a layout I created for Sketches In Thyme using a paper pad from Park Lane. My daughter received her first dose of the Covid shot back in March and I wanted to document this for her:

I fussy cut the flowers from one of the papers and popped some up with craft foam:

I used Pink Paislee silver glitter alphas for my title:

To the fussy cut flowers, I added some punched leaves. That is one of my favorite punches!

Life Is Better at the Campground

 Hey there scrappy friends!

Today I am sharing a camping layout created for 88 and Clear. I love using their inks (Sugar Cubes) to make watercolors for my backgrounds. I used Tangy Orange, Sweet Blue and Tangy Apple on top of clear gesso to create my background on this page:

I added a torn strip of Tangy Apple Sugar Stock to my background once the watercolors were dry and machine stitched. I used all 3 of the campers from the Happy Campers digital stamp set along with bench and flamingo and colored them with my Caliart Markers. Then I fussy cut them out:

I hand cut the clouds and sun and added some of the watercolors to them. Then added some stitching. The "Happy Camper" is from the digital file as is the "RV right there" and "home is where I park it".

I added another camper here along with a chair and plant for the digital stamp set:

I took the Sour Grape Sugar Cube and rubbed it on my white foam Thickers for my title. Then I added the 3rd camper to the bottom of my page:

I hope I have inspired you to dig out your inks and stamps to create a layout!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Sparkle Wherever You Go

Hey there friends!

I am back to share a bright and fun layout with you using Creative Embellishments products. I took these photos of Sierra last year when we were biking down by the river:

I added watercolor to my textured  white cardstock background. I added the last of my papers from Lawn Fawn Hello Sunshine collection. It felt so good to use the last bits and piece of it! I colored the Sparkle Wherever You Go chipboard piece with a Nuvo Glitter Marker for the word "Sparkle" and used a few Distress Oxide Inks on the rest. I added some fussy cut butterflies and 3 Acrylic Hearts-Pink:

I added a few flowers from Little Birdie and tucked in a berry branch from the Mini Berry Set. I used the Nuvo Glitter Marker to color it:

I added the sun from the wood veneer Sunny Days colored with the same Nuvo marker and I also added some acrylic clouds from the White Cloud Set:

I hope I have inspired you in some way today!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Wander With Music

 Hey there scrapbooking friends!

Today I am sharing my take on cold case file #365 at CSI. I used lots of older Shimelle on this page of Sierra listening to music on her Ipod while traveling to California back in 2010:

I added the hearts rub-on to white cardstock to make a diecut and then placed it on my photo. I added a wood veneer from Shimelle along with a fussy cut frame. the word "wander" was also a rub-on that I added to white cardstock. I used that as my title along with some foam and gold Thickers:

I stacked a bunch of diecuts and fussy cut images to the bottom of my page, popping some up with craft foam to add dimension:

I love that I used lots of stash on this page and I love how it came out!
So dig through your stash and use it!

I started with a textured white cardstock as my background and added some watercolor to it. I matted my photos with patterned paper. I added a pepper from the Vegetables chipboard set. I used the Bloom Where You Are Planted chipboard piece for my title. I wanted and ombre effect, so I used 3 different colors of ink to color it. I added the glove and shovel from the wood veneer Garden Supplies:

Go. Seek.

 Hello there crafty friends!

I am sharing a layout I created for the August challenge at Creative Embellishments. The challenge is to use the inspiration photo and use white space on your project.

I was inspired by the colors, cacti and hexagons in the photo. I used patterned papers from Heidi Swapp September Skies and Ticket To Ride on the top half of my layout and under my photos and also added some punched hexagons to the bottom right corner.  I decided the bottom half would be my white space. I added some watercolor and used black ink and the Distressed Crackle Stamp to add a bit of color. I used the Chunky Alphabets for my title and colored them with Lindy's Stamp Gang Mists:

I colored few of the Succulents with Lindy's mists as well and added them to both sides of my photos and used a partial one at the bottom of my layout. I added a teal heart from Kaiserkrafts and popped it up with craft foam:

I fussy cut the orange flower from one of the papers to add a "pop" of color. I added some Grunge Arrows

This was such a fun layout to create and I love how it came out!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
