Thank You Card

 Hey there friends!

I am sharing a thank you card I created for 88 and Clear using the Beary Best DigiNext Collection:

I used Tangy Peach Sugar Stock as the base of my card and then added a layer of Black Taffy and Sour Crush Sugar Stocks. I added the bow patterned paper from the Beary Best DigiNext Collection on top. Then added a square in Sour Crush Sugar Stock and strips of Tangy Peach Sugar Stock. I fussy cut the bear from one of the papers in the collection, popped it up with foam and added a bow under it made with Black Taffy Twine. The sentiment is from the collection, I just fussy cut it out. I finished the card off with some black acrylic paint spatters:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Celebrate- Bramble Fox

 Hey there friends!

I am back today to share my take on the fun June challenge over at Bramble Fox. I used October Afternoon Cake Walk from 2012, do you remember it? It was one of my favs and you could say I hoarded it, lol:

I used a patterned paper as my background and then added some watercolors to it. I added lots of the die cut shapes under and around my photos. I also added a few small doilies to give some texture on my page. I fussy cut the animals dancing and popped that up on my page with foam. I added the XO perspextive from the
January Fox Box:

I added some stickers from the OA collection and I also added a few of the white star perspextives from the Cool Stars:

Above the photos, I added some fussy cut balloons and confetti:

I used the "Celebrate" perspextive for my title. Isn't it gorgeous?!

I added some tangled thread and a red heart perspextive from the January Fox Box:

Here's the challenge for this month:

I had a blast creating this layout and I hope you will join us this month!

Oopsy, Wrong Color

Hey there scrappy friends!

I am sharing my take on sketch #522 at Sketches In Thyme today. I used stash for this layout of Greg and I at the camper show in the camper we ordered back in February of 2018 (top photo)- Notice the colors. When it finally came in at the end of May, it was the wrong colors! Since we didn't want to wait another 3 months for the right color, we kept it (and they threw in the fireplace for free!)

I added watercolors to my background. I used Paper House In The Wild papers and added some stitching, leaving areas not stitched so I could tuck in a few tags from Simple Stories:

For my title, I used:
"Oopsy"- Authentique
"Wrong"- Thickers
"Color"- Little Yellow Bicycle

I added a few diecuts, popping some up on foam to add some dimension. I used an Amy Tan stamp for the date:

The "Not A" alphas are from My Minds Eye. I fussy cut the "Happy Camper" from one of the Simple Stories papers. I added the lady diecut from Simple Stories:

Here is the sketch:

I love using a sketch to jump start a layout. How about you?
Hope you will play along with us this month!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Vacation

 Hey there Friends!

I am up on the Creative Embellishments blog today with this fun travel page. Greg and I retired at the end of 2021 and finally took our first trip in March. These photos are from the Outer Banks:

I added some watercolor spatters to my white cardstock background. I used some of my Paige Evans stash for this page. I fussy cut the star and added a cloud from the Rainy Days Set that I used acrylic paint to color:

I added tissue paper behind my photos and added some fussy cut trees. I also added another cloud here:

I used washi tape to create the acrylic paint stripes on my Lighthouse. I popped it up with craft foam. I added Nautical Flair to the middle of my chipboard flower and then fussy cut the banner:

I added lots of bits and pieces under the photos and at the bottom of my page:

I had a blast creating this page and hope I have inspired you in some way.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
