Fall Memories

 Hi everyone!

It's my day up on the Bramble Fox blog today! I created another layout using the October moodboard challenge I posted on the first. I also used the October 15th case file at CSI as inspiration for this fall page:

I used the Fox Cut Stencil #30 and added Spiced Marmalade Distressed Oxide Ink through it. Then outlined parts with a fine tip brown marker. I added in a few of the Cool Stars:

I added the "Let's Go" Travel Clippie above the photo on the left. I added some transparent leaves from Hip Kit Club:

I added a border and backed the photos with papers from Simple Stories. I fussy cut the trees from a Simple Stories paper as well:

I fussy cut my title and flowers from Simple Stories papers. I also added a few Cool Stars here:

Here's a look at the case file at CSI:

and here's the mood board I created for the October Bramble Fox challenge:

Take Me Away

 Hey there scrappy friends!

Today I am sharing a layout of Sierra and her boyfriend at a winery in Canada near Niagara Falls. I created this layout for Sketches In Thyme using sketch #538 by the talented Laura Rumble. I also used Echo Park Summer Fun collection for this travel page:

I added water color to my white cardstock background. I backed four of the Hexagons from Creative Embellishments with patterned papers. I colored the hexagons with a black Sharpie. I added some fussy cut leaves:

I took three of the larger Hexagons and placed them on a 5x7 photo and then fussy cut around them. I used a black Sharpie to color them. I added a sticker here:

I used a hexagon punch to cut 2 of the yellow ones and then hand stitched around them with embroidery floss. I added a few fussy cut leaves, a word phrase sticker and a gold heart:

I fussy cut the flamingo and a few more leaves and flowers:

I flipped the sketch upside down to accomadate my photos:

This sketch is so fun!
I hope you will play along!

Creative Embellishments Halloween Tag

Hey there creative friends!
I am back to share a large home decor tag I created for Creative Embellishments using lots of fun and spooky chipboard pieces from the store. I used a Large Tag and added patterned papers from Cosmo Cricket (remember them?) and Paper House using Modge Podge:

I colored the "Trick or Treat" with inks, placed some gauze under it and popped it up with craft foam. I created a bow from ribbon and twine from my stash and added it to the tag:

I colored the Haunted House with inks and popped that up with craft foam as well. I fussy cut a bat and added that along with some diecut spiders:

I colored the Trick Or Treaters with acrylic paint and added them to the bottom of the tag. I added a fussy cut word banner popped up with foam and on top of gauze. I also added a few word stickers from Paper House:

I had a blast creating this fun home decor piece and love how it came out! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Country Fest Mini Album

Hey there scrappy friends!
Today I am sharing a mini album with you that I created using lots of Creative Embellishments chipboard pieces.
I have always wanted to go to Country Fest, which is about 2 hours away from us. I finally got to cross that off my bucket list in June! Greg and I went with friends, camped all week and had a blast!
I decided to make a mini album with some of the pictures I took. I used the Stage Mini Album to start this fun project. I used Lindy's mists and Nuvo Glitter Markers to color the chipboard. On the cover, I backed the top and bottom of the stage with black cardstock and added some mist spatters. I also added: Country Fest, Musical Instrument Flair and I cut the 2022 off of the 2022 ATC Coins:

I backed the album and frame chipboard pieces with black textured cardstock. Page 1:  Camping Word Set (bonfire) and Camping Set (camp fire) Page 2: Infinite Circle Frame, Camping Word Set (camping), Camping Set (camper)

Page 3: Piano, Makin Music (notes) Page 4: Guitar Set, Makin Music (treble clef)

Page 5: Drums 2 (I backed the drums with glitter paper),  Makin Music (treble clef) Page 6: Square Doodle Frame, Music Artist Trading Coins

Page 7: Square Doodle Frame, Music Bar Set 7 (cut in half- half on top and the other on the bottom) Page 8: Microphones 2, Makin Music (note). I punched a few hearts out of glitter paper and added a doily to page 8:

I left the back cover fairly plain- just a picture, title and a few tags with more journaling:

This mini was so fun to create and I love how it turned out! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Raspberries

Hello!
I am back to share a gardening layout with you that I created for Creative Embellishments.
One of my favorite things we grow in our garden are raspberries. I love to eat them fresh and we also freeze a bunch to enjoy in the winter. I used lots of chipboard from the CE store along with some JilliBean Soup from my stash:

I added watered down ink spatters to my background. I colored the Raspberries Shaker with inks and filled it with some sequins/ beads from Buttons Galore and More, Fancy Pants and my stash:

I fussy cut the doilies from one of the JilliBean papers and added those to my page. I also added in some word phrase stickers from JilliBean. I colored the words "grow" and "harvest" from the Garden Word Set with Distress Oxide Ink:

I used inks to color the Raspberries. I added a few strips of patterned paper and stitching to my page. I added some sequins and gems around my page:

I had a blast creating this fun page! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Apple Orchard

 Hey there Scrappy Friends!

Have you seen the case files for October at CSI? They are fabulous!

Here is my take on case file #396. I used lots of stash for this fun, fall day at the apple orchard in Gays Mills with friends:

I challenged myself to use all the evidence for this case file and actually did it! The red and green papers are from My Minds Eye. The ivory banner is from Simple Stories:

I added some chipboard apples and the word "harvest" from Creative Embellishments. I fussy cut the word "October" from a Simple Stories paper:

I added a wood veneer leaf from Lawn Fawn that I colored with inks. I added a burlap flower from Little Birdie, some fussy cut leaves from Simple Stories and some red rick rack from my stash:

Here I added the Bucket of Apples from Creative Embellishments. I used ink to color it. I added another wood veneer leaf from Lawn Fawn, a burlap flower from Little Birdie and a wood veneer flower from my stash. I fussy cut the whisk from an October Afternoon paper. I added a strip of corrugated paper from Fancy Pants and pie and word sticker from Simple Stories. I finished off my page with some red and tree sequins from Buttons Galore & More:

Here is a quick look at the case file:

I really enjoyed putting this layout together and I love that I used stash to do it!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

The Best Journey...

Hello!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for Creative Embellishments. This selfie is of Greg and I in front of the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. I used chippies and flair from the CE store along with Fancy Pants  On Our Way 6x6 paper pad for this fun page:

I added watercolor to my background. I added a few of the patterned papers behind my photo and popped it up with craft foam. For my title, I heat embossed The Best Journey Always Takes Us Home chippie. I added a few flair from the Smile Set:

I fussy cut the small cards from one of the papers and staggered them across my page. I used a Nuvo Glitter Marker to color 3 of the Monarch Butterflies:

I heat embossed one of the Mini Houses and added that to the lower left of my photo:

I finished of the layout with some black watercolor spatters. I enjoyed creating this fun travel page! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
