My Happy Place

Hey friends!
I have a layout I created for Creative Embellishments to share with you today.
I used the "My Happy Place" chipboard piece and the Grunge Stars Stamp along with the Simple Stories Happy Trails collection on this camping page:

I used watercolors on my white cardstock background and added some mists spatters. When that dried, I used the Grunge Stars Stamp and black ink and stamped randomly. I added some stickers, diecuts and stitching:

For my title, I used the "My Happy Place" chipboard piece. I colored it with some mists:

I fussy cut the flowers from the papers and popped up some of the diecuts with foam to add dimension:

Here are a few more stars and diecuts:

I love how this layout came out! The chipboard title with all the diecuts and stickers were perfect!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Let's Get Away

Hey there friends!
I have a layout to share today using case file #292 at CSI.
I used Echo Park On Our Way and a cut file from Paige Evans for this layout of Austin, Greg and I in O"Hare airport waiting to board our flight to Germany:

This has been a dream vacation of mine since I was in high school. Hence the handwritten "Dream vacation". Since Sierra was studying abroad there last semester, this was a perfect opportunity for us to go!
I cut the file on white cardstock using my Cameo. I used mists and Gelatos to add some color and then added a little white Gesso to get a few more tones:

I wrote our itinerary on the journaling spot. I added a camera, passport and star diecuts:

I added a few more diecuts here. I love that plane with the words "jet setter" on it:

Here is the case file:

I was inspired by the colors and travel theme.
Hope you will play along with us!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Girls Just Want To Have Sun

Hello!
Today I am sharing a layout I created using a sketch from Rochelle Spears and the Scrap With Stacy photo inspiration challenge. I used Echo Park Summer Dreams along with SnapChat selfies of myself on the last day of school (work for me) for this page:

I added watercolor to my background. Then added some layers of paper. I used lots of stickers, popping some up with craft foam to add dimension:

I added the sticker banner, popping it up and check out those flipflops, ADORABLE!

Here's the challenges:

I was inspired by the summer theme and colors.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you soon!

Inside Apt. 2B

Hey there friends!
I have enjoyed some free scrapping this last week and played along with a sketch challenge at Sketch-N-Scrap. I took photos of the apartment we rented in Austria and decided to use these for this page. I added a few extra photos:

I used the February 2018 Hip Kit Club kit, which included lots of Pinkfresh Let Your Heart Decide.
I used a border punch and added a few layers of patterned papers. I added a few diecuts and an enamel dot:

I used some foam Thickers for my title and added a few more diecuts. I love the books!

Here's the sketch:

I kept this page fairly simple, just adding diecuts and chipboard to make the photos shine.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Love This Lake Life

Hey there friends!
I am back today to share a layout with you using the Best Glue Ever along with the No Clog Writing Cap from ScraPerfect.

I used my Cameo to cut a Page Evans cut file from the Silhouette store using white cardstock. Instead of backing the cut file with patterned papers, I decided to color the negative letters with watercolors and pop them up with foam inside the cut file using the Best Glue Ever. I tucked in a few embellies in and on the cut file:

I placed one photo to the right of the cut file and added layers of patterned paper from PhotoPlay Campfire/ Lakeside under it. I fussy cut a bird, the sign and a few canoes. I used the Best Glue Ever to adhere them. I added a photo to the "O" of the cut file:

I added machine stitched waves and watercolor to my background:

I love using the Best Glue Ever on the foam. I have tried other liquid glues and and they just don't hold after a period of time:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Trailer Trash

Hey there friends!
I have a new layout for Creative Embellishments to share with you.
Have you seen the new Trailer Trash chipboard pieces in the store? I love them and just had to use them on this layout of our camping friends:

I used Fancy pants Happy Go Lucky collection and ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever. I sprayed the camper with a Lindy's mist and fussy cut the bow from one of the papers:

I also used a few Lindy's mists on the words "Trailer Trash".

I added 3 tags, a few layers of patterned papers under my photo and another bow:

Here I added a few stickers, another bow, a ticket and some stitching:

I love how fun this layout is! Kind of like my fellow campers, LOL! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

World Traveler

Hey there friends!
I had some free scrappy time this weekend and decided to play along with the August challenge at Pinkfresh. The challenge is to add stitching to your project and there is also a color challenge to use along with it if you want. If you know me, you know I love stitching on my layouts and cards. So this challenge was perfect for me!

I used mostly Simple & Sweet for this layout with a few embellies from a few other collections. I used a photo of Sierra while she was studying abroad and traveling in Europe:

I fussy cut the fun circles from one of the patterned papers, popping a few up with foam and added some tangled thread under this one:

I added a diecut and a sticker from Live More. The diecut heart is from Up In The Clouds:

I added an enamel circle and used these fun Pinkfresh alphas. I added some hand stitching to the circle. I love the look! I also added a puffy sticker from Up In The Clouds:

I added some more stitching here along with a lemon diecut and another enamel circle:

Here's the challenge:

This was such a fun layout to create!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
