Family, Food & Festivities

Hello!
I am up on the Sketches In Thyme blog today with this fun Christmas page:

I used a cut file from The Cut Shoppe along with the November Hip Kit Club kit. I backed the word "food" and the ampersand with papers from the kit. I added a few bows and die cuts:

I used embroidery floss and hand stitched the words "Family" and "festivities". I also outlined them in black to make them pop:

I love this cut file:

I used watercolor to create my background.
I only added a few embellies since the cut file was busy enough.
Here's the sketch:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Yummy Wine

Hey there!
I have a layout to share with you using some fun Creative Embellishment chippies! I love all the shakers in the store and wanted to create a layout using a shaker:

I used the Glass 2 Shaker along with a photo from a wine tasting we did last fall.  I added white tissue paper on the bottom piece. For the top, I added  burgundy Stickles. I filled the "shaker" with a few shaker mixes from Buttons Galore & More and added some sequins and small beads to it. I love how it came out!

I popped the Grapes up with foam. These were colored with Nuvo Glitter Markers. Check out all the sparkle:

I added some 3D stickers from PaperHouse, lots of spatters and some Thickers for my title.

This layout has so much sparkle to it. I love how it came out! Thanks for stopping by and sharing your day with me!

Xmas Baking

Hey crafty friends!
Today I am sharing a layout created for the cold case file #320 at CSI.
I used old papers from October Afternoon for this layout of Sierra:

I decided to challenge myself and use this red plaid paper for background. I added a shelf of patterned paper for my photo to sit on. I fussy cut the clock, rolling pins and black star. I added a chipboard button. I used a rub-on from OA and put it on white cardstock, fussy cut it and added it to my page:

I added a chipboard doily, balloon and a fussy cut flower & spatula:

I finished off the chipboard sheet with the circle piece. I added the black banner, a fussy cut cup and foam Thickers for my title:

I fussy cut the girl and "from the bakery" sign:

It feels so good to get rid of some stash!
Hope you will play along with us this month!

Large Camping Tag

Hey Friends!
I am  back to share a Large Tag I created to hang in my travel trailer. I used lots of fun Creative Embellishment chippies for this fun tag:

I used a Large Tag and added  paper from Echo Park Summer Adventure to it. I added some inking to the edges. I used the camper piece from the Camping Set and colored it with Lindy's mists:

I also used the fire from the Camping Set. I colored the logs with Lindy's mists and the flames were colored with Gelatos. I added a fussy cut lantern from the Echo Park collection and some flowers from Little Birdie:

I used the Berry Frame 4 and added a variety of products to it: Lindy's, Heidi Swapp. Mister Huey's mists and Tim Holtz Distress Stain. I added in some Buttons Galore & More Thankful sequin and bead mix and a fussy cut sign. I used the word "Camping" from the Camping Set:

I took the marshmallow sticks from the Camping Set and added some texture paste to create the marshmallows. I used mists to add color. I fussy cut the compass, added the flower and lots of spatters. I finished the tag off with some fibers at the top:

I love all the layers and texture this tag has and I am excited to hang it in my camper soon! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

It's Our Time

Hey there!
It's the first day of the month, that means a new challenge at Creative Embellishments!
I used lots of CE chipboard along with a variety of mists and Simple Stories Happy Trails on this layout.  I added mists to my white cardstock background. Once that was dry, I stamped using the Distressed Crackle Stamp and black ink. I punched some waves and added some machine stitching.

I colored the Infinite Circle Frame with Lindy's mist and backed it with patterned paper from Simple Stories Happy Trails. I used numbers from the Chunky Alphabet Set and sprayed them with the same mist. Thus creating my "clock". I added my photos on top. I added the It's Our Time for my title.

I also added the Frog and a Pine Tree sprayed with Heidi Swapp, Lindy's and Fireworks mists. I added 3 punched and stitched butterflies leaving the trail of thread on:

I finished the layout off with some word phrase stickers from the SS collection:

Check out the challenge and play along. There's a gift certificate up for grabs!

Camping Issues

Hey all!
I have a fun camping layout to share that I created for CSI case file #318.
I used a few different AC lines for this page. The yellow striped paper is from Dear Lizzy Serendipity. I tucked in a few pieces of orange from Amy Tan:

The black striped paper under the photo is from Shimelle. The black and white lined one is from Amy Tan. I added a few clear Amy Tan stickers around my photo. I fussy cut the larger fox from a Paper Issues card:

The "OH!" and "Have Issues" was fussy cut from the same PI card. I used foam Thickers for "we" and "issues". I finished the rest of the title with alphas from Hip Kit Club. I fussy cut the frames from an Amy Tan paper I believe. I added a fussy cut camera and flowers. The small fox were fussy cut from AC Give Thanks:

I added an Amy Tan chipboard heart, clear "indeed", triangles and arrow stickers. I added a few orange star puffy stickers:

Here is the case file:

I had a blast creating this fun page!
Hope you will play along with one of the case files this month!
