These Moments- 88 and Clear

 Hey there scrappy friends!

Today I am sharing a layout created for 88 and Clear using a few of their stamps along with their Sugar Cube inks:

For my background, I added Tangy Apple Sugar Drops to Media Mixer and added water. I used the packaging technique to apply it. Then I added spatters:

I used a flower stamp from the Art Garden set and stamped them using Sweet Blue, Sweet Banana, Sweet Pink, Tangy Orange and Sour Mist Sugar Cubes. The leaf stamp is from the Stunning Crowns Stamp set. I used Tangy Apple and Sour Mist Sugar Cubes to stamp them. Then I fussy cut the flowers and leaves out. I arranged the flowers in a circle and tucked in the leaves:

I added in a few white sculpted stickers from Paper House along with a few October Afternoon stickers. For my title, I used a few alphas from a few old Hip Kit Clubs. I added the "Enjoy Life" sticker from Paper Studio:

I had a blast creating this layout and just love how it came out!

Winter Banner

Hey there! I have a fun and cute winter banner that I created for Creative Embellishments to share with you today:

I used the Fishtail Pennant Banner and covered it with a layer of Modge Podge and patterned paper from the 6x8 paper pad of Snowflake collection by Crate Paper:

I added tags, stickers, diecuts and fussy cut snowflakes to the banner pieces:

I added a Chipboard Snowflake to each banner. I colored them with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist:

I added lots of ribbon from my stash. This is a great way to use them up:

I used the word "Snow" from the Blizzard Word Set and added that to my first pennant. I colored it with Shimmerz and RG Dazzling Pat. I added a few punched snowflakes and also added some pearls and bling from Buttons Galore & More Fall Foliage Sparkletz:

I love how this banner came out! Now when I take my Christmas one down, I have a winter one to add in it's place.

Would You Be Mine?

 Hey there!

Today I am sharing a fun Valentine Day card with you that I created for 88 and Clear.

I started with a white card base and added a layer of Sweet Cherry Sugar Stock. I added a layer of striped paper from Echo Park Yours Truly collection. I printed out the Library Monthly digital file on Rich Cherry Sugar Stock. I cut out the February card and added that on top:

I used Black Taffy Sugar Cube to stamp all my images. The trees, hearts, lumberjack and log are from the Love Jack Stamp Set. I stamped the trees and sentiments on Tangy Apple Sugar Stock and then fussy cut them out. I stamped "Jack" and the hearts on white cardstock, colored them with watercolor pencils and fussy cut them out. I stamped the log on Sweet Cane Sugar Stock and fussy cut it:

This was such a fun card to make and perfect for my hubby as he has been chopping firewood for camping.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Fresh Snowfall

 Hey there friends!

I am back to share another layout for CSI cold case file #344. This is a stash busting challenge. I used old Echo Park and My Mind's Eye for this winter page of Austin:

The blue paper is from Echo Park and the red polka dot paper is from My Mind's Eye. I machine stitched the two together to create a snow hill on my page. The "fresh snowfall" and black snowflakes are rub-ons that have been in my stash for many years. The sled and "sledding" is from Echo Park. I fussy cut the snowman from one of the Echo Park papers and added him to my photo:

I used a journaling card from Echo Park and backed it with a wood grained paper. I tucked in a few stickers: the mittens, a house, the word "cold" and the snowboarding circle:

I added a few white snowflake stickers from my stash along with another old rub-on- "little snowflakes". I actually finished those rub-ons off so I got rid of it from my stash:

This was such a fun layout to create!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Girlfriends (88 and Clear)

 Hey there friends!

Today I am sharing a layout created for 88 and Clear. I decided to go bold with my background and love how it turned out! I used the Splatter Splash Stamp and added Rich Blueberry Sugar Cube. Then I misted it with a bit of water and stamped. I love the different tones the water added to the ink. I added some Sour Mist splatters:

I rubbed the Rich Blueberry Sugar Cube on the top of the "girlfriends" wood veneer from Fancy Pants and used Sour Mist on the bottom:

I used bits and pieces from Fancy pants Summer Sun & Hello Sunshine along with the teal paper from Life Is Beautiful:

this was such a fun layout to create and I love playing with the inks and stamp pads from 88 and Clear!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Holiday Shopping

Happy Monday Friends!
Today I am sharing a fun, holiday shopping layout of Sierra and I shopping at the outlet mall last year in the Dells. They have these huge wreaths hanging in it so we decided to take a few selfies:

I used 88 and Clear Rich Cactus Sugar Cube added a bit of water and painted a messy circle on my textured white cardstock background. I colored the Berry Wreath with Tim Holtz Distress Stain (green) and Mr. Huey's (red) mist and Heidi Swapp Gold Colorshine. I colored the Bow with the same mists and added it to the wreath:

I added some Echo park stickers, popping some up for dimension and adding some tucked in the wreath:

I matted my photo with papers from My Minds Eye:

I love how this layout came out! So fun and festive! Thanks for stopping by and hope you had a wonderful holiday season!

Twas The Night Before Christmas

 Hey friends!

Happy New Year!

I am excited to be returning to the Creative Embellishments design team for 2021!

They have a challenge every month with a gift certificate up for grabs. Here is my take on the mood board this month:

I was inspired by the lacy fringe in the table cloth and created a fringe Christmas tree. To make the tree, I hand drew it on cardstock. I cut about 1" strips of patterned paper from Park Lane Sophisticated Neutrals. Then I used fringe scissors and cut 3/4 of the way. I started at the bottom and glued them to my paper cut tree. I added in some lace. Next I cut the same tree on my background paper. Then I machine stitched around it:

I used Twas The Night Before Christmas piece as my title and colored it with inks. I added the fussy cut heart and flowers from the Park Lane collection:

I also added in a piece of the Lace Border 7 on the bottom of my photo and colored that with the same inks.

I used the same dark ink to color the 3 wood veneer Hearts and place one on top of my tree:

Here's the mood board. The challenge is to add lace or other material:

Thanks for stopping by and here's to a happy and healthy 2021!

Stay Cozy

Happy New Year Friends!

Today I am sharing a layout created for CSI using case file #342. I was inspired by the colors and winter theme and used lots of stash on this page:

For my background, I used the Fairy Dust Stencil from Creative Embellishments and added modeling paste. Then I added some watercolor. The "Tis the Season To Be Freezin'" is from an old Hip Kit Club:

Under my photo, I added a handmade tag cut cut from a Pretty Little Studios paper. I also added a vellum paper from Paper House. I added a mistletoe and a cup from Pretty Little Studio. To the right of the photo, I used a Whisker Graphics envelope and tucked in a Whisker Graphic's tag for my journaling. On top, I added another tag cut from Pretty Little Studios paper, some tangled silver thread, a snowman, arrow and snowflake:

To the left of the photo, I added another tag cut from a Pretty Little Studio paper. I layered in some tissue paper, the red polka dot paper from PLS, a snowflake and tree from Hip Kit. I also added the racoon, "Baby it's cold outside and a label from PLS. I added fibers and twine from my stash:

I added another label from PLS below my photo and tucked in another snowflake, silver thread, another tree, a heart and a star along with my title "Be Cozy":
