A Birthday card

Hey there!
I am here today to share a quick and easy way to add ribbon to your card.
I used PhotoPlay for this birthday card:

I created my "pleat" using a tutorial on YouTube:

Then added a little bit of The Best Glue Ever to hold it together:

I added a bit more to the back to adhere it to my base:

Finally I added a  few thin lines with the Fine Tip Writing Cap. I always have this on my bottle, it saves me from adding too much glue:

I let it dry to a clear state,

Then placed the ribbon on and smoothed it using my finger. Letting the glue dry to the clear state (tacky), ensures that I don't have the glue soak into my ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

New Kitchen

Hey there scrappy friends,
I am sharing a layout I created using sketch #294 at Sketches In Thyme.
We remodeled our kitchen back in 2015 and I am finally scrapping one of the "after" pics I took.
I used some October Afternoon from my stash and came up with this page:

I used an hexagon cutfile from the Silhouette store and duplicated it numerous times and made few different sizes and then cut them using my Cameo. I backed them with a few different patterned papers. Finally I stitched around them and then added some watercolors:

I fussy cut the teapot, whisk and spoon and added them down on the bottom border. The alphas are October Afternoon and I added some stitching through them:

Here I added a few stickers, a diecut and a fussy cut spoon:

Here is the sketch:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Senior Prom

Hey There!
What a crazy month it has been! Being back to work and with the athletic booster club, my life has been so busy! I am waiting for a scrappy weekend, lol! But that maybe awhile yet. So I will just continue scrapping when I have a few spare minutes.
I managed to get a few layouts done over Labor Day weekend and am just now sharing them.
I played with the Creative Embellishment September challenge and sketch #134 over at Sketch-N-Scrap. I used Paper House papers for this layout:

I used the circle stamp from Creative Embellishments and stamped with black Stazon ink. Then I added some watercolors. I used a brown Sharpie to color the tree and then added a flair from Creative Embellishments:

I used a few more pieces from Creative Embellishments colored with Sharpies. I punched some circles and added some stitching:

I also added a star shaped confetti. I used papers from the Noir Collection and One Big Happy Family:

Here is the Creative Embellishment photo inspiration:

I was inspired by the orange and black.

Here's the sketch I used:

Thanks for stopping by and I will be sharing another layout tomorrow.
