Fun Times

Hey there!
I am sharing a layout I created for the August rewind sketch challenge at Rochelle Spears blog and the August Wacky Holiday challenge at GrandDiva's Creative Corner.
I used the December Hip Kit Club kit for this layout of my friend and I:

I used  Paper Issues free cut files and cut them out of white cardstock. Then I used watercolors to color them:

I added a banner and a few fussy cut flowers along with some tangled gold thread:

I fussy cut the "X" from a paper, added a few strips of paper and some stitching:

Finally, I added some sequins and black spatters:

Here is the sketch:

My Hero

Hello friends!
Today I am sharing a layout I created for ScraPerfect.
I used ScraPerfect's The Best Glue Ever and Transfer Foil along with Paper House Production papers and came up with this layout of Austin and I after one of his baseball games:

I used a cut file from the Silhouette store to create my title and backed it with black cardstock:

Because I didn't have a lot of orange and black baseball embellies to go with the papers/ photos, I decided to create my own using star diecuts, The Best Glue Ever and Transfer Foil. You can check out my tutorial (orange stars) up on the ScraPerfect Blog.

I added watercolor to my background and added a few layers under my photos along with some stitching:

Here is a side view of my title. Check out all the fun detail the transfer foil added to my title:

Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a fabulous day!

Family Fun

Happy Friday Friends!
I am sharing a layout I created for the August challenge at 123 Challenge Blog and for a stash challenge at Creative Inspiration.
I used a Hip Kit cut file, Simple Stories So Fancy and Crate Paper rub-ons for this page:

I cut the file on my Cameo and then used watercolors to color it. I fussy cut the heart from one of the papers and popped it up with foam. I added a few rub-ons:

I added a few layers and a frame under my photo. Then added another frame on top with a Bradz. I fussy cut a heart and a label from the paper collection. Finally I added a few more rub-ons:

I used some alphas from my stash, another fussy cut label and heart. and another rub-on. I stitched a circle using my machine and brown thread:

Here is the challenge photo:

Don't Stop Believing!

Hello and happy hump day!
I am sharing a layout I created for Sketches In Thyme today. I used Fancy Pants Dream Big along with Creative Embellishment's Arrow Heart Frame.

I inked the chipboard frame and added it under my photos. I placed a few diecuts on top:

I added a few more diecuts and punched a few scalloped circles and added them to the upper right of the photo:

On the bottom, I created a cluster using more punched scalloped circles and diecuts:

Here I added more diecuts and scallop circles:

Here is the sketch:

I love how this page turned out! I also love this new Fancy Pants collection!
Enjoy your day!

Looking For A New Cleaner?

Hey there friends!
I am here today to share an easy way to remove stickers off of an object.
We recently replaced our back door after installing it, I needed to remove those stickers they add to them. Yeah, I didn't get a picture of the actual stickers, but did get some after I tried peeling the stickers off. Here is the window on the door:

This is the door:

Finally, frustrated, I grabbed The Best Cleaner Ever:

and sprayed both areas:

I let it sit for about 5 minutes and used some paper towel to remove the sticker. This was the result after on the door:

and the window:

So next time you have something sticky to remove, try The Best Cleaner Ever.

I added some tissue paper behind my photos to soften the look:

Remember

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
Have you scrapped your wedding photos yet?
I have only scrapped a few so far.
I am here today to share a layout I created for my wedding album. Of course, I used the Best Glue Ever, because it really is the best glue ever!
I used the January Hip Kit Club kit for this page:

I added some watercolor to my background and then added a few layers behind my photo, including a frame. I also added lots of ephemera:

I love adding dimension to my pages by adding some foam behind my embellishments. The Best Glue Ever is perfect for adhering the foam to my layout:

I also, love using the Best Glue Ever to adhere wood veneer to my layouts. The No-Clog Writing Cap is perfect to get glue in all those small spaces. And, a little bit of the Best Glue Ever goes a long way!

Here is one more close up of my layout:

Of course, the Best Glue Ever works really well on paper too!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
