Guest Designer At ScraPerfect

Hey there scrappy friends!
I was excited when Amy asked me to share a project this month at ScraPerfect! It's been awhile since I have been on the design team there, but I am still using ScraPerfect products and love them!!  I decided to use my 2 favorite ScraPerfect products , the Best Glue Ever  with the No Clog Writing Cap on it and the Transfer Foils. Well, technically, I guess that's 3, but I always have my No Clog Writing Cap on my bottle of the Best Glue Ever, lol! Here's my layout:

I used white cardstock as my background and added some Park Lane papers along with some machine stitching. I added some watercolor to my background.  I used Thickers from my stash and added some Whisker Graphics Twine to the banner ones:

I fussy cut the "you're my favorite" from one of the papers and then popped it up on craft foam and adhered it using the Best Glue Ever. I added the Silver Transfer Foil to some white cardstock and then punched a few hearts and added those to my page. See my tutorial on the ScraPerfect blog:

To the Wine Glass, I added some white Gesso and BoBunny Sugar Glitter Paste and colored it with a Lindy's mist:

I used mists and a Nuvo Glitter Marker to color the Creative Embellishments Corkscrew. The Wine Bottle Shaker is also from Creative Embellishments. I added a coat of white Gesso to the base and sides of the shaker. Then I rubbed Nuvo Mousse on the base and top piece. I glued the 2 bottom layers of the shaker to the base using the Best Glue Ever. Then I added my shaker items- Sparkletz from Button's Galore and More. Finally, I added the shaker plastic and top:

Love it! I hope I have inspired you in some way today! I would like to thank Amy for letting me share my work over there. Thanks Amy! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I added some chipboard pieces from the EP collection, a puffy sticker from Dear Lizzie along with some Tim Holtz word phrases:

Under my photo, I added some trim from my stash, an ice cream cone sticker and that cute chipboard ice cream truck:

I punched a few different sizes of circles, added them throughout my page. On the left side, I added the chipboard balloonsand another puffy sticker:

Best Day

 Hello friends!

Today I am sharing my take on case file #362 at CSI. This is a cold case- meaning use some stash. I used mostly Crate Papers Maggie Holmes Carousel collection for this page of Greg and I:

I used one of the papers as my background and then fussy cut the black and white striped papers and stitched them. I also fussy cut the yellow strips and stitched them. Then I layered bits and pieces, some from the Carousel collection and some from my stash. I added some wood buttons from Hip Kit and twine from Divine:

I fussy cut my title from one of the papers and placed it on the top of my photo in the white space. I added a white frame with gold, fussy cut flowers and the pink paint stripe was fussy cut from Echo Park Dreams paper:

I added a tag to both sides of my photo and used Divine Twine to add bows. I added some diecuts and an enamel heart:

Under the photo, I added another fussy cut flower bunch, a fussy cut banner and some bits and pieces at the bottom of the page:

This was such a fun page to create and I am so happy to do some stash busting!

Yes You Can

 Hey there friends!

I just wanted to pop in and share a card I created for 88 and Clear. I used Tangy Apple Sugar Stock as my base and added a layer of Tangy Grape and a layer of Tangy Gum stamped with Tangy Gum Sugar Cube and the Square Netting Stamp on top. I used the Ring Layers Die to cut a stitched circle on the top layer:

I used the July 5 for $5 digi stamps, Best Day for this card. I colored them with my Caliart markers and then fussy cut them. I tucked them into the circle. I fussy cut the sentiments from the same digi stamp and popped them up with foam. I added a Powdered Sugar Twine bow under one of them Finally, I added some bling and some Dazzling Pat spatters:

I am having a blast coloring digi images and I love how this card came out!

Good Times

Hey there friends!
I am back to share another layout with you using a cool title chipboard piece (I fell in love when I saw this piece!) along with other Creative Embellishments products:

I added clear Gesso to my background. When it was dry, I added modeling paste through the Small Stars Stencil and let that dry. Then I added a few different mists along with white paint spatters. For my title, I used Good Times Are Even Better... and ran Gelatos over it and used a bit of water to spread it around:

I added a few clouds from the Rainy Days Wood Veneer that I painted with white acrylic paint:

I added a few layers of patterned papers from the JilliBean Soup You Make Miso Happy collection. I also added some diecuts and fussy cut flowers:

I used the 3 Tree Stencil and 88 and Clear Sugar Cubes to add the trees. I love how it looks! I fussy cut the "Life is beautiful" and butterfly:

In this diecut cluster of flowers, I tucked in a few pieces of Flourish Set 10 that I previously added ink to:

I had a blast creating this fun friend layout and I love the outcome of it! I hope I have inspired you to dig out your mixed media items and use them.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

I used most of the words from the Pandemic Hashtags and colored them with Nuvo Glitter markers:

I added a few of the Virus chipboard pieces. I colored them with a green Nuvo Glitter Marker. I added in a few fussy cut flowers from a Park Lane paper pad. I also added strips of papers from the same pad and machine stitched them:

Here are a few more of the Pandemic Hashtags:

I will add my journaling about the pandemic to the back of my page since I didn't have room for it.

I added a layer of Tangy Apple Sugar Stock to my white card base and then added a layer of Tangy Berry. On top of those, I added a layer of Sour Mist that I stamped with Sour Mist Sugar Cube and the cactus from the Life Sucks stamp set:

I colored & fussy cut the "windows" from the Arizona Windows Digital Stamp. Then I backed them with vellum from my stash. I popped them up with foam to add some dimension and tucked in some gold thread:

Red, White & Blue

 Hey there!

Today I am sharing a layout I created for the Creative Embellishments July challenge. This months challenge is a sketch challenge and the twist is to add a stamped image. I stamp

I added strips of cardstock and PhotoPlay patterned papers to my background along with stamping some stars using the Grunge Stars Stamp and blue ink.

I used red and blue mists to color the Stars and Stripes Banner and Independence Day Word Set . I also used white acrylic paint to color the ampersand and word "white" above. I adhered the chipboard to my layout using ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever. This is the only glue I use for adhering chipboard:

I added a Nested Star under my photo and added the diecut along some Red Mirror Acrylic Stars. I added in the banner and USA stickers from Recollections:
