Sunshine

 Hey there friends!
I have decided to stay on at Sketches In Thyme as life has slowed down a bit for me. YAY! I love working with the sketches over there and knew i would miss them.

I used Echo Park Springtime from my stash for this fun camping page of us and our camping friends. We were on a hike and decided to stop by the lake for a few pics:

It's not very often that I used patterned paper for my background, but I used 2 on this one. I added a banner sticker popping it up with craft foam. I added the "blissful" sticker along with a few flowers I fussy cut from the sticker sheet:

I fussy cut the clouds from one of the papers and popped them up with foam too. I added a few patterned papers under the photo on the right. I added the "sunshine" sticker. It originally said, "sunshine makes me happy" I used alphas from the EP collection and trimmed them up to fit:

I added the cloud and journaling stickers along with a pink heart sticker:

I hope you find some time to play along with us this month!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Playing Kubb

Hey there friends!

Today I am sharing a layout I created using a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap along with Echo Park Happy Camper collection. I also added the circle cut file that has been in a drawer that I previously cut and didn't use. I think it is from Paper Issues.

I used photos of the guys playing Kubb against us girls while camping last 4th:

I fussy cut the trees from one of the papers and added a tent sticker. I used alphas from the EP collection for my title:

I popped up the owl and "Camping under the stars" stickers with foam to add some dimension. I hand cut the trees and then used 88 and Clear Sugar Cubes to create watercolor

Summertime

Hey there friends!
I am back to share a summer layout I created for Creative Embellishments using a few chipboard pieces, flair and Fancy Pants Summer Sun and Making Waves papers:

I added strips of Fancy Pants 6x6 papers and stitched them to my layout using white thread. I used the Summertime  piece, cut it into two words and then added a few layers of Gesso. Once that was dry, I mixed a few different mists and applied it with a paintbrush. I also added a Summer Flair:

I added a few layers of Gesso to the Sailboat 1 and then used mists to color it. I added a Summer Flair on top of the boat and overlapping the photo:

Here is the second word from the Summertime chippy:

I added a few journaling cards and patterned papers under my photo. I added another Summer Flair as well:

I love how this page came out and I love creating summer pages! Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Camping Album

Hello!
I am sharing a mini album with you that I created for Creative Embellishments using the Camper Album along with lots of other chippies from the CE store. I also used Simple Stories Happy trails for this fun mini.

I backed the cover with some patterned papers. I thought about painting the chipboard, but loved how it looked without painting it with the papers. I added the word "Camping" and a lantern that I used ink pads to color. I added a few stickers.

I used Heidi Swapp Color Shine to color "Camp" and added a sticker word phrase and a few images I fussy cut:

I added a fer stickers popped up with craft foam. I added the word "Life" colored with the same mist and added a wood veneer sun from the Sunny Days.

On this page, I added some Mirror Acrylic Silver Star Pieces along with some fussy cut trees and some word phrase stickers:

I added some fussy cut elements, stickers and a White Cloud to this page:

This "sleeping" word was perfect for this photo of the guys taking a nap:

We love playing games while camping! I added the word "Delight", another wood veneer Sun and a wood veneer Mushroom to this fun page:

We also love to ride our bikes. This trip, we celebrated my friends birthday. I used the word "Celebrate" and some wood veneer candles and balloons from the Birthday Fun:

We take lots of walks on our camping trips. I added some stickers, a fussy cut flower and the sign from the Camping Set to this page:

There is nothing better than enjoying a cup of coffee or a cocktail around the campfire. I used 3 words from the Camping Word Set along with the marshmallow stick from the Camping Set on this page:

We love watching the sun set or sitting by the lake. I used the title "The Good Life" on my last page, which is perfect for these 2 photos. I added the canoe and paddle from the Camping Set:

Life really doesn't get any better with good friends, camping, a lake and lazy summer days! I had a blast creating this mini album! I think I will take it to the camper so I can share it with my friends.
