Sunflower Field

Hey there Scrappy Friends!

Today I am sharing a layout I created for Sketches In Tyme using sketch #546 along with Carta Bella Summer collection. The FFA teacher at Auburndale High School, where I graduated from, does so many things with the ag program. He and the students plant a field full of sunflowers every spring. I have been wanting to go check it out, we did and it was amazing!

I added strips of patterned papers down the middle of my page like in the sketch. Then added some maching stitching. I cut a circle from patterned paper and placed that on top, tucking my photos in the middle like the sketch. I added a zig zag stitch with my sewing machine. I used foam Thickers for my title:

I added gesso and acrylic paints to Creative Embellishments Funky Flowers and placed them in the lower left hand corner of my photos. I tucked in some tangled thread and then added the fussy cut flower cart on top along with the flower van sticker from the Summer collection. I placed a word phrase sticker from Teresa Collins on the van:

In the upper right side by the photos, I added a framed sticker with sentiment, some tangled thread and the "you are here" symbol is from Becky Higgins.

Here is the sketch:

As you can see, I followed the sketch, except I added a few clusters of embellishments.
Looking forward to seeing your take on this sketch!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with lots of family and friends!

Always & Forever

Hello scrappy friends!
I am up on the Bramble Fox blog today sharing my take on the July challenge. I used PhotoPlay Wild Love collection for this page of Greg and I:

I added some patterned papers under and around my photo. I used the "always & forever" from the Love You Always set for my title. That pink is just so pretty!

I used Fox Cut #28 along with some Distress Oxide Inks to add a bit of color on my white background. I popped up the cute bunny stickers on foam to add some dimension. I added a "XO" perspextive from the January Fox Box under it:

I also added in a few tags from Teresa Collins, chipboard word phrase from Becky Higgins, clear rose stickers from Paper Studios and the "some kind of wonderful" snip from Paper Snips #001:

I added another chipboard word from Becky Higgins, a sticker from Photoplay and a few Valentine Hearts perspextives. These are absolutely awesome!

Here is the challenge:

I hope you will play along with us.
I had a blast creating this layout and I love how it came out!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

He Calls Me Mama Llama

 Hey there scrappy friends!

Today I have a fun layout to share with you that I created for case file #351 at CSI using lots of stash. When my kids were younger they always called me mama llama. Here's my layout:

I added strips of patterned papers (orange stripe-Websters Pages, grey and teal are Cocoa vanilla)  to my background tearing the bottom 2 and backed my photo with paper from Authentique. I cut the "cool Kid" from a Cocoa Vanilla paper as well. I fussy cut the clouds from a Bella Blvd paper:

I cut the yellow pennant from a Teresa Collins paper and the orange is from Cocoa Vanilla. I added in a wood veneer from Cocoa Vanilla, chipboard pieces from Bella Blvd and some pom-pom trim from my stash:

I added gesso and pounced acrylic paint on these fun chipboard Llamas from Creative Embellishments. I also added in the Barbed Wire Border from Creative Embellishments that I sprayed with Heidi Swapp Color Shine:

For my title, I used alphas from Evalicious along with some Thickers. I added in some Tim Holtz word phrase stickers and a rub-on from my stash.

I had a blast creating this fun layout and I love how it came out!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
