Dies R Us

Hey friends!
I am sad to say this is my last post for Dies R Us. As much as I would have loved to have stayed for the next term, I decided not to with me traveling in Europe for a few weeks in June.
For today's post, I created a beautiful "Thinking of You" card:

I used Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 paper pad for my card and stitched the layers in place. I used the Frantic Stamper Geometric Lace Flower Doily die and cut it out of teal patterned paper. I cut the Cheery Lynn Designs Olive Branch twice from green patterned paper. I stamped the flower with 3 different Distress Oxide Inks:
I outlined the flower with a black Sharpie. I fussy cut the leaves and flower.
I glued these all together using ScraPerfect's Best Glue Ever with the No Clog Writing Cap attached to get just the right amount of glue.

Don't forget to come join in the fun at the Dies R Us Challenge Blog. There's a new challenge theme offered on the 1st and 15th of each month and one lucky randomly drawn winner will receive a gift voucher prize to the Dies R Us Store. For your convenience, all the important Dies R Us links are provided below.
I would like to thank Dies R Us for allowing me to design for them the last 6 months. Thank you!

Thank You Card for ScraPerfect

Hey friends!
I am back today to share a beautiful card with you that I have created for ScraPerfect.
I used Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid 6x6 paper pad, stamps from JoAnn's, the Perfect Crafting Pouch and the Best Glue Ever with the No- Clog Writing Cap attached for this card:

I used to Perfect Crafting Pouch  and ran it across my patterned papers and cardstock. This ensures a nice crisp image:

I stamped the leaves with black ink. I used 3 Distress Oxide Inks to stamp my flowers. I heat embossed my sentiment:

I outlined my flowers with a black Sharpie to make them pop. I fussy cut the flowers and leaves and used the Best Glue Ever with the No Clog Writing Cap attached to get in those small spaces:

The Best Glue Ever works on all type of surfaces, including foam which I used to pop up the main flower:

Here's a close up of my card:

I love how this card turned out!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Farewell CIE!

Hey friends!
I am sad to say that this is the final challenge over at Cards In Envy. I have enjoyed being on this team the last 5 1/2 years! Wow, I can't believe it's been that long! I have met some wonderful people, especially Sandy. Thanks for having me!
This last challenge is to use the first sketch that was posted at CIE. I used Fancy Pants Wonderful Day and Divine Twine for this card:

I punched three circles on the top layer of my card and backed two with patterned paper. The other one, I popped up with some foam. I added a border across the middle. Backed the patterned paper with green cardstock and added some machine stitching. I fussy cut the balloon and added that to my border. Finally, I added a few chipboard buttons, with Divine Twine bows and that cute celebrate flag.

Check out the sketch on the blog and play along with us!

Last card

Hello!
Just sharing my last card I created over the weekend for the Turtle Soup November Mini Crop. Every month they have a fun mini crop!
For my last card, I used Joan's paint and lace challenge.
I painted some white card stock green and used an ink pad to color my lace burgandy to match the papers. I used Carta Bella Christmas Day:

I love how it turned out and the colors of the paint and ink match perfectly.

Have a great day!

Home For the Holidays

Hey there Scrappy Friends!
With the guys out hunting this weekend, I had a little free scrappy time and decided to make some Christmas cards using Turtle Soup's November Mini Crop challenges. I got 3 done yesterday and am sharing one today and will share the other 2 tomorrow and Tuesday.

For my first card, I used Joan's Family challenge along with Echo Park Merry Christmas:

I used mini alphas for the word family, sorry it's kind of hard to see.
Hope you will play along with us!
Enjoy your Sunday!
