Sassy Lil' Sketches

I had time a week or so ago to play with a few of the August sketches at Sassy Lil' Sketches, I just love their sketches!

I used week #1's sketch for this layout about Austin's birthday gifts:

With heading back to work tomorrow, after having a wonderful summer off, I am hoping to play with the card sketches and the other layout sketch sometime soon.

MS&M Crop

New Sketch!

There is a new sketch challenge up at the My Scraps & More blog and the prize is the Playground Collection from Echo Park! I love the fun, bright colors in that collection!

I played with the sketch yesterday. I flipped the sketch 90 degrees and used a pic that Sierra took of Greg and I at the New Belgium Brewery in Fort Collins, CO. We each got 4 tokens to sample their beer, but I could only sample 2, the second one really hit me, it was so potent! Guess I can't drink as much as I used to, lol. Anyway, 1 of the tokens made it back to WI and I used that on my layout:

Sketchy Thursday & MSW Challenge!

I fell in love with the 8.11 sketch at Sketchy Thursday earlier this week and just HAD to use it! I combined the sketch with Ginni's Recipe challenge at MSW, part of her recipe was to use lots of pics, so I printed my pics wallet sized and decided to do a 2 page layout (which I rarely do).

Love the outcome of it!

A Quick Post

Just wanted to share my sketch and layout I posted over at My Scraps & More the other day. I have been loving the look of white space lately and have been adding (or should I say, leaving) more of it to my layouts lately.

and my layout is of Austin at the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, CA last summer playing in the ocean. I used Echo Park's yummy Splash collection.

New DT reveal!

Tammi started something new this month, a monthly design team reveal! She sent the design team the new line by Echo Park, Victoria's Garden. I am a huge Echo Park fan and loved playing with it! Check it out in the store .

MSW Reveal!

Where is August going? It is flying by for me, before I know it, it will be back to school and that means back to work for me. :( I guess it will be nice to get back into a routine once again.

I thought I posted my August reveals for My Sketch World, but I guess I didn't. So I will share them with you today.

Scrap lift challenge

I posted a challenge at My Scraps & More on August 8th and just wanted to share my layout. I lifted my friend Lisa's(pictures2pages) Circle of Girls layout. I fell in love with her layout and just had to "lift" it! You can check out the challenge and Lisa's layout here.
