I have been watching a new challenge blog called Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. Check it out here:
http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/

The first challenge was to make a project with a bloon and the word birthday on it. You also had to use a cutout from your Cricut.

I decided to make a card and cut 3 balloons out on one side of the card, cut half of that off, added balloons cut from patterned paper with pop dots to the inside if the card. Inked balloons cut from the cardstock and added to the front of my card.

It's been a while!

It's been a while since I have been able to blog with work and Sierra's games, but I have managed to squeeze in some scrappy time early in the morning or on the weekends to keep my sanity! LOL!

I have been participating in the Sketch-A-Thon at My Sketch World. Lucy's sketches are awesome! You can check it out here: http://mysketchworld.s2.bizhat.com/viewforum.php?f=75&mforum=mysketchworld

Over at My Sketch World we are doing a photo challenge this month. Check it out here:

Here are my photos I have taken so far:

One of my favorite ornaments:

It's starting to feel like Christmas!

Although Austin put the tree up and hung most of the ornaments the day after Thanksgiving, and the lights were hung outside before Thanksgiving, to avoid the cold, it just didn't feel like Christmas, it snuck up way too fast this year!

Then we got some snow and had a snow day.

I wrapped gifts on Thursday. Made some cookies on Friday. Finished up my shopping very early yesterday morning. All I have left to do is figure out what's to eat on Christmas Day and bake a few more things!

It's finally starting to feel and look like Christmas!

Happy Holidays!

Woohoo! A blog!

I finally have a blog, thanks to my dear friend, Lucy! Thank you, girlie!

I have been participating in the 12 days of Christmas over at Scrapdango. Here are a few projects I made:

The first one was to create a wreath out of buttons and spools to make an ornament, I decided to go a little bigger and make a wall hanging:

I also altered a frame and am giving it to DH for Christmas (shhh!) Hope he likes it!

Sierra has her Christmas concert tonight! I am so excited! Along with her choir performance, she will be doing her first band performance- playing the clarinet! Will post pictures later...
