May Crop at My Sketch World

Come join us at MSW for some fun and challenges in May!

Old Photos

A while back my Mom gave me a bunch of old photos to scan into my computer. I always have such a hard time buying her gifts for those special days, so I thought this year for her birthday I would print those photos and make her an album as a gift. I am leaving the journal blocks empty so she can write in that herself. I hope she likes it!

These are the pages I have done so far.

MSW April 1st Sketch

I had a blast playing with Lucy's sketch at MSW, her sketches are the best!

Here is the sketch:

and here is my take on it:

It's Been Awhile!

Man, it's been way too long! Was hoping to update on Spring Break but, as usual it went way too fast!

We took the kids to a waterpark for the day and let them each take a friend, boy did they have fun! and Greg and I got to relax a little! This was the only photo I got with them both in it.

I have been watching a new challenge blog called Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog. Check it out here:
http://fantabulouscricut.blogspot.com/

The first challenge was to make a project with a bloon and the word birthday on it. You also had to use a cutout from your Cricut.

I decided to make a card and cut 3 balloons out on one side of the card, cut half of that off, added balloons cut from patterned paper with pop dots to the inside if the card. Inked balloons cut from the cardstock and added to the front of my card.

It's been a while!

It's been a while since I have been able to blog with work and Sierra's games, but I have managed to squeeze in some scrappy time early in the morning or on the weekends to keep my sanity! LOL!

I have been participating in the Sketch-A-Thon at My Sketch World. Lucy's sketches are awesome! You can check it out here: http://mysketchworld.s2.bizhat.com/viewforum.php?f=75&mforum=mysketchworld
