A Quick & Easy Way To Clean Your Craft Scissors

Hey there Friends!
Today I am sharing a quick and easy way to clean your sticky craft scissors. I found that The Best Cleaner Ever by ScraPerfect works really well at taking off the stickiest stuff ever. I add craft foam behind my photos and to pop up embellishments on my cards and layouts. The craft foam I buy has an adhesive side. I usually cut the foam to the size I need, but sometimes I don't realize I cut it too big until after I have peeled of the backing of the adhesive side. Then I have to cut the sticky foam with my scissors. This gets my scissors good and sticky after a few cuts:

I sprayed the scissors with The Best Cleaner Ever and let it sit for 5 minutes:

I used a paper towel to wipe them clean. Now they are looking like new again!

I love using this fabulous cleaner!

Thanks for stopping by and sharing your day with me!

Hello and Happy 2018!
Hope you had a safe and wonderful new years eve!
Over at Creative Inspiration, we have the first design team reveal of the year!

I fussy cut the clouds from patterned paper and popped a few up with foam. I added the "Backyard fun" sticker under my photo:

Here is Bev's wonderful sketch:

I don't use purple very often, but I am so glad I did on this layout. I love how it turned out!

Winter Wonderland

Hey there!
If you are here for the Top 10 Blog Hop, please click HERE.
I created a layout this morning using a sketch from Stick It Down and the Creative Embellishments December challenge. I used items from my stash for this page of Sierra, Greg and I at the Marshfield Rotary's Winter Wonderland. We usually drive through it every year, but this year we decided to walk it. All I can say is these photos do not do it justice, it is amazing! Lots of lights everywhere!!!!

I used a cut file from the Hip Kit Club for my snowflakes and used watercolors to paint some of them:

I added a punched border under each of the photos using Basic Grey Juniper Berry. I also added another paper from Juniper Berry behind 2 of the photos. The "Bright Lights" and "Frosty Nights" are chipboard pieces from Creative Embellishments. I painted them with acrylic paint:

The trees are also from Creative Embellishments. I painted them with acrylic paint and then added some BoBunny Glitter Paste:

The poinsettia and holly are from Creative Embellishments and painted with acrylic paints. I added a shimmer watercolor to the top of the poinsettia:

Here's a look at my title. I used glittery gold Thickers and Evalicious alphas.
Finally, I added watercolor and gold Heidi Swapp spatters. I added a few poinsettias cut files that were laying on my desk. I don't remember where they came from or what paper I used to cut them from.  I also added a few Echo Park stickers:

Here is the Stick It Down sketch:

and the photo challenge at Creative Embellishments:

I took inspiration from the colors and snowflakes. I also added punched borders under each photo.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Filled With Joy

Hello!
Merry Christmas!
I love this time of year- time with family and friends and no work! LOL!
Last week I played along with the December 15th case file over at CSI and combined their challenge with a sketch from Sketch-N-Scrap. I used a Paper Issues cut file along with an older Christmas line from Echo park and mixed it with the new Christmas line from PinkFresh:

I have had these enamel stickers in my stash for years and decided to use them on this page.

I fussy cut the houses from one of the PinkFresh papers. I added some stickers from Echo Park and popped them up with foam tape:

Here's the sketch:

and the case file:

I was inspired by the houses.
Evidence: Christmas, architecture and trees
Testimony: Document Christmas

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the holiday season!
